    LYRICS:
listen up now mother fuckers, this is how it's going to be
and I don't give a single fuck, if you like it or not.
your picture perfect enemy has become the anomaly
yea try all you want, but you won't figure me out
be careful what you wish for you just might get it
set fire to your lungs and leave you choking on the ashes
you're wasting all the oxygen, blackballing but you cant stop falling
then call me a faggot, stand up, Now who looks more threatening?
I never asked to be model citizen for your decor
Even if you played the part i wouldn't fuck you for the score
so step up to the plate and take your best fucking shot
but it will never break the skin cause i am something that you're not, fool,
i don't care what you have to say, it makes no difference
it's all because of you, we're fucking Infamous
I'm not looking for a savior, I have all that i need
and i dont give a single fuck, if god likes it or not
your picture perfect life you see, is quite so fucking disgusting
i put all my faith in your "one two three"
Now i'm your model citizen, nail me to a cross
crucify me for my sins, and let my body rot
i said this before and now i'll say it again
open your mind before your mouth and "get the fuck out of my way".

It is possible for both songs to have the same lyrics, and one not being taken from the other. They don't have to come from Immaculate Misconception, and they most likely weren't. So, there is a possibility that your comment stands invalid. And, all this is just a massive coincidence.

@@atar1307 Like I have already said, just because both lines are in both songs, does not mean that one is in reference to the other. So, don't automatically assume that it is. It is pretty foolish and stupid of you to do so. And, until you actually know for sure, I suggest that you stop doing either one. Unless, you like to make yourself out to be the idiot. It is possible for the lines to be in both songs and there not be any reference to the other, whatsoever. But no, narrow and close minded fools like yourself/selves wouldn't think of other possibilities, would you? You might want to become more open as well. It might do you some good. Just another suggestion.

Dana Horton it is a reference tho. Fans loved these words, so I guess they wanted it to be in one more song because of that, that line is fantastic tho!🤘🏻

I love the way that motionless in white embraces ways to sound like some albums were a collab mix, like in this song they sound like Marilyn Manson in some parts and Korn in others. In devils night they sound a little like slipknot. But yet they add on to these styles to make it there own unique sound.

Chris sounds so much like Marilyn Manson in the track, it's scary. When I first heard it, I thought Manson was featuring in it. He also sounds like Corey Taylor in the climax to "Reincarnate"

Even though Marilyn Manson has a big influence on MIW's sound, I don't associate MIW with MM. I still think MIW is unique and different. Am I alone in this?

    • @seaturtlepoppy7679
      @seaturtlepoppy7679 8 лет назад +13

That's what pisses me off - just because MIW was/is influenced by bands (as are pretty much all musicians), people nit pick at songs and criticize away. I'm pretty sure Chris doesn't go into a song thinking "I think I'm going to sound like Manson today ..."

    • @CertifiedUser14

    • @seaturtlepoppy7679
      @seaturtlepoppy7679 8 лет назад +3

Maybe you have to be a fan to realize that they're unique ... It seems like the elitists, snobs, and non-fans just want to pick out where he/the band sound like multiple bands - in *one* song! Meanwhile, there are bands out there that sound exactly the same or are really bad imitations of good bands. I dunno ... it just irritates the fuck out of me.

But I still don't see how anyone could accuse them of copying off of anyone because despite little elements that they purposely threw in to give nods to the bands who inspired them. they don't sound like anyone else out there. They took a bunch of completely different genres and threw them all together to make their own sound, which I find to be very impressive. I think they're the most interesting band to come around in a really long time. Love them.

What some don't seem to realize is that they were influenced by multiple bands from multiple genres and managed to take all of these completely different styles and put them together to make their own unique sound. You can't even properly categorize them into a particular genre. They defy labels. So despite all of their favorite bands that they purposely make references to, the only band that they can really be compared to is Motionless In White.

Motionless is not selling out. Chris has explained they are inspired by older bands, and it should be their 'job' to make the past music better this time around and keep it going in a new style. If you'd take the fucking time to truly listen to them, you'd see that instead of pointing that bullshit finger. If you think that of this album, go listen to their past albums. Shocking, huh? There's more than creatures and this album.

I wonder how disappointed the band [or anyone with common sense] would be [or already is] if they read these comments. The comments...I don't see why people have to fight. If they've a negative thing to say about the stuff, leave them to rot, don't fuel their fire by giving them the time of day to respond. It's hard to resist retorting, I understand that, but it's what they want. I barely look at the comments and when I do I lose all hope of society becoming better than what it is.

I agree. I mean, I hear The Golden Age of Grotesque-era Manson in "America", "The Divine Infection" and "Hatefuck", "Sinematic" is kind of Manson meets Linkin Park, this one is a bit Manson meets KoRn, "Devil's Night" is like SlipKnoT meets Rammstein, "Black Damask (The Fog)" and "Puppets 2 (The Rain)" remind me a bit of Cradle of Filth, etc. But that isn't copying, it's giving nods to the bands who inspired them (like using the lyric from The Smith's "How Soon Is Now?" in "Puppets".
