I go to a catholic school. one time we had break and me and a friend were listening to this with headphones on. My religion teacher father Bonifazius came up to us and asked us what we were listening to. And since he asked we showed him this song which was the one we were currently listening to.

I don’t think listening to metal/rock music will lead to eternal damnation. I rly don’t think God cares. Quite frankly, lyrical interpretation to an extent is subjective, as well as understanding the background of the musician. Undoubtedly, he probably was bullied in school, bc of how he dressed. Most of those people were probably self-proclaimed “Christians” who probably read a page from the bible, & only went to church on Sunday bc that’s what their families demanded of them. Not saying that some religious people can’t be assholes, but most who actually practice the faith believe in love & acceptance. Anywhozzle, I don’t blame them if they are anti-religion, & this is how they feel. I would feel this way too if my peers or random old people were condemning me to Hell based off of presumptions, & never having the common decency to ask what my beliefs were.
I personally, like to think this song is about them. The hypocritical aspect of religion. I have an Aunt who does the same thing, super judgmental, but will cherry pick the bible to death in order to make herself “right”.

I can hear a lot of SlipKnot in this, especially from 0:29. That bit sounds like it came right out of a SlipKnot song which is SICK. I love motionless in white and SlipKnot is like my all time favourite band with KoRn, Deftones, Tool etc. What a song 🤘🏼
I’m love motionless in white and still listen to them even though I’m a Christian believer and I know they get bashed on by Christian. And much as Christian get bashed on by other people which I don’t blame them. You always got the good people out there and the bad people. Who make other people look bad in other people eyes. I rather it be all be one and accept one another for what we believe in or not believe in.

i have so much respect for the band and everyone in the band. they make such amazing music and no one really takes the time to thank them. thank you for making music, it has helped me with my depression. every time i listen to a miw song i feel a light in my heart i feel powerful, i feel happy, i feel bad ass and cool like nothing could affect me. im a really insecure and hopeless person but when i listen to their music its like all my problems are gone. i get lost listening to their music that i just completely forget about everything else, it just shuts out for me. when im out walking while listening to miw i feel so bad ass but when im not i feel so nervous and like everyone is judging me. they’re like my shield, their music protects me from all my other problems. point is that i fucking love these guys and they deserve appreciation. appreciation for helping others and making people smile, i smile every die when i listen to their songs. im not even kidding, every time i listen to at least one song i smile, they’re the reason why ive been smiling so much lately. hope they’re all doing okay

I love this song!!! They went hard with this track. I have always thought about how crazy it is when people say they will pray for you, but they are either too dumb or delusional to see that they are the problem. These type of people are very manipulative and I have learned to cut them out of my life because it's tiring and pointless to keep handing them the mirror.
