Thank you so much for this class. I started with a congested / running nose. As the class went on, I was able to breathe better and better. My nose is still running but I can breathe almost normally now. I've been practicing home yoga for a while now and you are my favorite teacher on youtube. So many many many thanks for sharing. Thank you, Kassandra. I'm with a fever, body aches, and sore throat. Working with the lymphatic nervous system seemed to open me up. The pressure in my head has released. Overall, I can tell a difference. My entire system feels rejuvenated and relaxed. I do recommend this practice. I can't believe this was 40 minutes. Namaste
I have covid and have been super achey and in pain the past couple days.. this was a challenging class because any movement seems to take a lot out of me, but I’m glad I did it and I feel a lot better surprisingly. Thank you very much kassandra 💓
Same! While in srivasana, my lungs really started to open up. After i had some immunity tea and a hot bath and my lungs kept opening up as i crawled under the covers. The teacher knows just what to focus on and point out.
Four years later and I still come back to this practice, though I have it memorized by now. I still like to hear your voice and have the timing. Ive been with the flu the last couple days, currently can’t sleep from soreness, coughing, congestion etc., and was aching to move my body in some way. This was perfect. For my personal practice, I always add broken wing (I’m not flexible enough to have the side stretch in dragon pose and archer arms are too intense if I’m really ill like today), headstand, and supported fish- my favorite pose. Aside from the physical benefits, it feels like surrendering emotionally to being sick. ❤❤
Wonderful class! Albeit challenging, I still finf Yin challenging but appreciate the effects so much. Thank you for your guidance through the practice❤
I cannot sing the praises of this yoga sequence ENOUGH!. I'm at the tail end of COVID and my symptoms are mild congestion,. While going through the poses I FELT the lymphatic drainage happening as my nose and throat began to clear.. THANK YOU, Cassandra! I think you are marvelous. U've been taking yoga classes for 50 plus YEARS and you are one of my BEST teachers I hope to repeat this particular practice this evening because it sJUST what I need right now!
Dear Kassandra this felt sooo good this morning to begin my day with this juicy yin for an immune health boost! I have been feeling very tired and fighting a virus so this one was really welcome today! I also enjoyed the peaceful music in the background while doing this and breathing deeply through each of these healing poses. Peace and light to you and thank you!

I have a slightly swollen lymph node on my left side of my neck(it’s been like this for about a week). I’m so glad I found this class because I could totally feel an effect especially at the end with the neck stretches. I’m hoping this will kickstart the healing process. Hi, just did this using your app. ( I think I feel better when I pay you monthly for your classes. ). I loved it because you had poses you normally don't do. I lost all feeling below my ankle bones years ago due to an antibiotic. I laughed when I did the pose you stated was they only standing pose in yin yoga. My feet have become deformed over time, my balance is terrible but I managed that pose (with only a few tips to and fro.) Thanks for your yin classes. I do chair cardio ( the kind people 20 or 30 years older than me do ) but your classes (even if I can't figure out how to get my body to do certain poses (ie cow faced pose with eagle arms anyone?) make feel proud of my body. I'm not sure if that is the correct word. Your classes make me pay attention to my body when I had begun to just ignore it as a hopeless. Your yin yoga has been very positive to me.
I've had a tight left shoulder/neck/collarbone for the past two weeks and the last thing I would've thought it was would be an inflammation in my lymphatic system...thank you for opening my eyes!!!

Thank you. I have a cold at the moment, so I had to keep pausing to deal with my streaming nose. It felt good to breathe deeply & feel that I'm helping myself to recover. My muscles were tight, so I did need to come out of poses earlier, as suggested. I am sure this practice is going to improve my day. Thank you again.

I have autoimmune thyroiditis, and I am allergic to gluten as a result. Ate a gelato with a few chocolate chips inside and my eyes started swelling. Some of my body parts started feeling swollen too. This video really helped! It’s not like, a fix all, but the swelling has gone down. Only one eye still feels a tad swollen, I’ll wait and observe if it goes down a bit later.

Doing this whilst having some tonsillitis after having a great breath-through in using my voice and standing up for myself. Loved this beautiful practice and it really helped me accept my body's need for rest and be thankful to it for clearing out all those old emotions and beliefs with a small fever and physical reaction. Wanted to come back and leave a comment to say that I performed this routine for the first time yesterday, while I was recovering from a cold. While I didn’t feel better immediately afterwards, I did have the best sleep I’ve had in a couple of days and while I’m still a little congested, my biggest issue right now is a clogged ear that is slowly but surely unclogging. I’ll be adding this to my regular routine, in sickness and in health.
Thanks so much, Kassandra! At 65, while it was a common practice for doctors to remove inflamed tonsils, many of my generation lived with a foiled immune system. As one battling a brutal cold, your approach is helping symptomatically and psychologically.
Had a 21 km run yesterday in pouring rain, did your session for yin yoga for hips yesterday and today caught a bad cough..now doing it feels so good..literally the cough subsides,thanks Kassandra!
thanks Kassandra - that really felt good recovering from a nasty cold. I anticipated some coughing with the inversions - but hardly none! and the few occurring were nice and loose [if you can call coughs nice...]

Very helpful, I have been plagued with a generic cold for about a week, I hope this will help speed it up! No one likes feeling stuffy and sore-throated. I have VERY sensitive knees, have never been able to find a bolster, blanket, or pillow thick enough to keep my knees from turning red and aching when putting weight on them for any length of time - I can't even kneel for more than 10 seconds, even on carpet - so I decided to skip the Winged Dragon. Even Childs Pose is excruciating, which stinks... I get a lot of good out of your yin yoga videos, I just have to skip about half the poses, the ones that rely on knee support, so I'm grateful for you bringing up 'sensitive knees' in a video, at least you know that we exist! :) Namaste
I've done this sequence twice in the past week and find it not only (hopefully) helps build my immunity, but also helps with the anxiety that we are all feeling because of Covid-19. Thank you for this beautiful practice.

I really enjoyed this workout and could feel my lymphnodes, especially toward the end. I have Silent Reflux, so the lymphnodes in my throat easily get swollen just by overuse of voice or sinuses. I caught the flu earlier last week (thankful I got to a wellness center that my school district has opened for all of us on staff and was able to get the Tamiflu within the first 12 hours of onset symptoms so I really had 2.5 days where I had to have bed rest before I started feeling like myself. This really helped me feel refreshed and I think it'll be my focus yin yoga workout of the week just to get my immune system back on top. But I definitely felt the lymphnodes in my throat were swollen before I caught the flu, so I agree that my immune system is compromised. Thanks for yet another yin yoga to help aid in my recovery/strength.
I just did this yin yoga for the first time. I noticed it was made two years ago. But, this was so perfect for me today. Thank you Kassadra for posting your videos. I appreciate you!
I practiced this flow last night because I’m getting over a cold and this was perfect for sending me to sleep and helping me wake up refreshed. Not only did I love the flow, but I also loved Kassandra’s reminder that yoga is not curative, it’s supportive. As a public health professional, I’m always wary of people prescribing holistic practices as cure-all’s, so I really appreciated her reminder at the beginning of the practice. While this flow didn’t cure my cold, it definitely supported me as I took the appropriate medication, rested, and drank plenty of fluids to get over it!
Thank you so much for this practice! I tested positive for Omnicron last week and have felt pretty lousy. I did this practice and honestly feel so much better. I can hardly believe it! Thank you - I will come back tomorrow and from now on when I'm feeling ill. Super Helpful!

I have VERY sensitive knees, have never been able to find a bolster, blanket, or pillow thick enough to keep my knees from turning red and aching when putting weight on them for any length of time - I can't even kneel for more than 10 seconds, even on carpet - so I decided to skip the Winged Dragon. Even Childs Pose is excruciating, which stinks... I get a lot of good out of your yin yoga videos, I just have to skip about half the poses, the ones that rely on knee support, so I'm grateful for you bringing up 'sensitive knees' in a video, at least you know that we exist! :) Namaste
I've done this sequence twice in the past week and find it not only (hopefully) helps build my immunity, but also helps with the anxiety that we are all feeling because of Covid-19. Thank you for this beautiful practice.

I really enjoyed this workout and could feel my lymphnodes, especially toward the end. I have Silent Reflux, so the lymphnodes in my throat easily get swollen just by overuse of voice or sinuses. I caught the flu earlier last week (thankful I got to a wellness center that my school district has opened for all of us on staff and was able to get the Tamiflu within the first 12 hours of onset symptoms so I really had 2.5 days where I had to have bed rest before I started feeling like myself. This really helped me feel refreshed and I think it'll be my focus yin yoga workout of the week just to get my immune system back on top. But I definitely felt the lymphnodes in my throat were swollen before I caught the flu, so I agree that my immune system is compromised. Thanks for yet another yin yoga to help aid in my recovery/strength.

I practiced this flow last night because I’m getting over a cold and this was perfect for sending me to sleep and helping me wake up refreshed. Not only did I love the flow, but I also loved Kassandra’s reminder that yoga is not curative, it’s supportive. As a public health professional, I’m always wary of people prescribing holistic practices as cure-all’s, so I really appreciated her reminder at the beginning of the practice. While this flow didn’t cure my cold, it definitely supported me as I took the appropriate medication, rested, and drank plenty of fluids to get over it!
Thank you so much for this practice! I tested positive for Omnicron last week and have felt pretty lousy. I did this practice and honestly feel so much better. I can hardly believe it! Thank you - I will come back tomorrow and from now on when I'm feeling ill. Super Helpful!
