Visuals can be inconsistent but there's definitely several instances where the game is stunning.
The game itself is fantastic too. Highly recommended.

Great video, Bang, thanks. I was waiting for this. I believe this game has DLAA as well.

dlss is available on the steam version im afraid but the game is capped at 60 for me and couldn't find a fix for it anywhere online

Yeah it’s a console port rather than a full pc port DLSS and FSR are available on the steam version and epic games I believe. Also I had to go into the games files and manually change my resolution to 3840 x 2160 for some reason in the gamepass game files it was it was a lower resolution it was 37 something I can’t remember but it was a little below 3840
but in the in game graphics settings it doesn’t show that it’s not 3840 x 2160 which was weird and also I put my fps at min 120fps. So that I can get a little overhead room to reach 70fps on my 4090 but also I used TSR upscaling dropped it down to around 70% to get to that 70fps I think at 70% upscaling TSR it’s equivalent to DLSS quality at 4K try it out see if it works for you it’s possible you don’t have go into the game files to change anything. Your PC is stronger than mines need some upgrades so your should outperform mines beautifully.

yep you're right Game Pass is known to block out other Virtual Resolution Solutions. Or just simply not include them because its the earliest version of a game which usually later in the coming months the devs patch them in on other platforms

Thanks for the video Buck, massive fan here. The graphics on this are so disappointing; for the presented fidelity your rig should be pushing 200++ FPS.

The voice acting is fantastic and the story is starting off quite good. While the graphics are fine, to be honest, UE5 is taxing the system way too much. For example CryEngine, ID-Tech 7 or even UE 4 could all present this experience featuring the same 3D geometry / polygon density and including high resolution textures and with still decent enough lightning for a lot less resources being neccessary to run properly smooth. Maybe the upscalers like DLSS and so will save the day here - but - UE5 is a bit disappointing in this one. Nobody cares about lumen and nanite as the overall visuals in this one are not justifying the amount of stress being put on the system and power consumption.
Anyway .. it is what it is and at least the game itself seems to be kinda interesting.
And at some point in time we all get used to upscaling artifacts anyway I guess ...

This game is so overrated yet somehow people love to praise it. Everyone was giving Hellblade 2 shit but hellblade 2 was longer, actually had some fighting and puzzle elements (as simple as they were) and looked better. Still wakes the deep is literally 'walk, duck, run' repeat... and is only 4 hours long.
