The real pyro would destroy the operation. The power move is to ignite your enemies, then use the pyro's compressed air option to launch them in the air and juggle them while re-igniting them. It would have been interesting to see the pyro take on Red Ivan and his rocket launcher with their air blast. If they made it so the pyro would air blast his rockets back at him then it would be perfect.
There's a neat trick i've discovered playing around with Pyro in a new campaign. If they keep attacking someone they hit with compressed air it keeps refreshing the debuff and fire panic, creating an Infinite stun lock + 5 dmg dot that MELTS the poor soul trapped in fire. Used this to take out some powerful Crime lords singlehandedly, using other henchmen to distract/kill any backup.

@@z-man_playz_shortz I want soldier and spy. I want the soldier cause he'll basically be the same as red Ivan from the first game, and I want the spy because he could have an ability to one hit any target, which would be useful against super agents.
While the mass friendly fire and damaging of lair is definitely a ( - ) It is also very much accurate for the Pyro character so can't even be mad at that. Also, is he immune to burning? As in the after-burn that make the unit run away, as that is how the Pyro is supposed to work.
Honestly, the damage to structures and allies is a pretty decent trade-off for such a tanky, disruptive unit. Just put them on patrol in a space where nothing of value is stored, maybe pair them up with a ranged specialist for supporting fire, and they'll sort it out.
Seems oddly unbelievable he has friendly fire. I say this because in tf2 you can light up your teamate with the power of the sun so they can roast smores in their mouth and it will only hurt them as much as a light breeze. I think it should have been the engineer. he has a shotgun attack and his powers would be dispenser and turret. Dispenser he places one that resets and repairs traps in an distance or if in non-halls acts as a repair fire supression or if in the med bay 3x heal rate for the room. Turret is simple he throws down a full auto turret to fight. The change is it sees threw any disguise as long as it is not a super agent (like x) but the agent will also avoid going close to it. and both are a toggle with a short cool down (less they get destroyed then it is a really long one.)
I think you should revisit pyro after his bug fixes. Yes he isn't good in a trap hall, but if you have a section that is 'pyros land' where he isn't burning anything down, his insane amount of armor and CC makes him able to solo level 9 soldier squads with minimal micro.

One thing you forgot to mention and why he should at least be A tier, he attacks really relatively fast and his fire stuns the enemy for a really long time, allowing your henchman and minions to beat em up every few seconds, also his air blast ability makes his stun even longer so its very good for single target damage and ensuring minimal damage to henchman amd minions...except the friendly fire of course 😅
