Japan had to decide who would give them better terms for surrender. Japan viewed a Soviet occupation as worse than an American occupation (bc of the spread of communism) and the United States was willing to leave the dynasty in tact ie the Emperor could still stay on the throne (They thought the soviets would not allow that). Another reason this is never talked about it, is US media and history books were written to undermine the impact the Soviet Union had as a member of the allied powers in helping achieve victory. Also the Cold War was starting and communism became the new enemy to the western democracies. Propaganda wasn’t just a tool of Germany and the Soviet Union but democracy too. If you don’t believe me, look up what the CIA was doing under the Marshall Plan throughout post war Europe. They threw money and propaganda behind pro democracy political candidates to swing the elections in our (US) favor. It was ultimately the best thing to do, but nonetheless was still pretty shady stuff lol

I’m gonna say this I love the map I love team 17, hell let loose. The only thing I ever want in this future game is the add Italian map. It will make me a happy man because I hate how ww2 games don’t add them maybe because It takes a lot of graphics to make it work because it’s full of mountains and Other reasons but it’ll be great to have them in hell let loose like the, battles of Anzio, operation husky , and battle of Monte Casino. That’s my own opinion love this new map. Can’t wait to play it and thank you team 17 for all your efforts of making this game Great.
@@seafire5357 if they added Italian maps they would have to add the Canadians otherwise it would be a crime. The Devil’s Brigade had some of the most heroic battles in Italy.
When playing in one of the top clans in HLL, It is noticeable that no effort is being made to balance the sides, points on the maps. You don't even seem to know that your game has a huge community that holds championships on its own.
Arty fits the game a lot better than mortars would, and mortars would most likely be even more anoying. Arty atleast requires some team work and works best with good communication
