Yes! We did volcanology this year. I was SO IMPRESSED with the depth. ...I learned right along with my daughter. Loved it so much that we will be using them exclusively for our sciences next year. Best thing around that I have seen
I’m so glad you made a video on this! I’ve been trying to find reviews and wasn’t having any luck. We’ve never tried Campfire Curriculums before and this one looks so fun!
They are my favorite curriculum. If I could let go of my more traditional style, I would exclusively use them. They are on my wavelength in regards to worldview and discernment. I have the car maintenance and herbal one waiting in the wings after the Resurrection one.
We’re doing Titanic now, it’s one of the best unit studies we’ve ever done ! 9th and 5th grader working together and you can learn everything or just some of it. It’s really thought out and affordable! Faith based and non biased ! Thanks for explaining this to our community it’s really amazing ❤
We are working on that unit now! It’s sooo good! I have a 9 year old boy and a 13 year old boy. My 13 year old is wanting to become a vet. My 9 year old is thinking about a marine biologist or maybe marine zoologist.
We LOVE Campfire ❤️. I bought this one but plan on doing it closer to summer so we can visit the zoo as a field trip 😁. I so badly want an Eco tank printer!! I recently printed their Resurrection Day unit and wow on the amount of ink I had to use 😬😬. I’m weird and like things in hand though lol!
@@mandy-maltz wow that’s great, thank you so much. We haven’t tried any of their products yet, def going to start, I imagine they are all fab. Thank you so much for sharing.
We started the square foot gardening one last year but stopped for some reason. Maybe we’ll pick it back up again now! I agree those units have a lot of great info. I will definitely look into doing more. What binding machine do you have? I’m liking to get one but wondering which features are most important. I found one that’s pretty affordable but says it only binds up to 120 pages whereas I saw another one that does 500. I’m pretty certain I don’t need to bind 500 at a time though!
I know this video is over a year old but i was wondering if you had any additional thoughts on the note taking part of this unit study. I have 3 kids in middle to upper elementary courses and i am looking for something that teaches logical note taking or at least helps support teaching it. Did you find the note taking part of the study to be a big part of the study and a good way to teach note taking to your son? any other suggestions on teaching note taking ?
We really liked it. I feel like it gave him the basic outline and some good pointers on getting started. It was creative, thoughtful, and my son got a lot of practice with each lesson in the books.
On the Campfire website, they show you the credits for high school. It's really helpful! It's at this website here: campfirecurriculums.com/credithours
I’m not on FB right now so I can’t say, but search for the Facebook group in the group section. They have an active FB group. I think they had major issues with their page a while ago and I’m not sure if they have one anymore.
We've had so much fun with this unit from Campfire Curriculums. We start lesson 6 today!

It's so much fun! It's our 4th Campfire Unit so far and our favorite of the bunch.

I want to do Titanic! My kids have zero interest in it, but I want to do it 🤣
Titanic was great!!
Just a tip for everyone about the Eco-tank. Costco has it for like $350. Then you have that great return policy and it comes with the ink😁

I have the same mug! 🤩
Thanks for this video. Your explanation about CC was better than anyone I’ve seen 👏🏼
Thank you so much, Melissa!

My EcoTank has paid for itself many times over!
Thank you for sharing, it looks wonderful. Is it $29.99 and you get all the levels? One price and you can access/print all?
Yes that's correct. One price and it's all included!

Would you do Zoology before palentology?

Good resource for a half credit highschool zoology class?

Thank you! How cool
Your videos are great! What do you like better? Gather round or campfire? Differences?
Hi! 👋 I don't use Gather Round, only Campfire.
Could you please provide me with the name of the Facebook page you were suggesting?
Sounds awesome
What are your thoughts on the classical Christian Memoria Press? Thank you
I've never used them, sorry!
do you have a link for your binding machine?
Is it campfire curriculum or curriculums with an S? Their Facebook page said someone stole their content and the curriculums site with an S isnt them

@@mandy-maltz I tried searching and couldn't find an active one
@@dalywildkat their FB page probably isn’t active. I think it’s just the group now.
@mandy-maltz yea I can't find the group either
