I did this seminar last summer and implemented it with my 2 kids this year. We have weekly literature tea times where we talk and eat and savor books. I have to say it has been the most life giving, most meaningful curriculum I have ever used. I can’t recommend it enough. I sold all of my old literature guides and hope to never go back to them.
I am becoming obsessed with all things IEW, and now Adam Andrews' lit program! I would love to consolidate all LA pieces to IEW - it feels like way more than a curriculum...it's like a curriculum for becoming a lifelong learner!
Does this curriculum include a classic book list? Ie book suggestions for elementary, middle, and high school? Additionally, how did you obtain that IEW coffee mug?? Lol we’re huge IEW lovers over here!
Has anyone had success with teaching this "curriculum" to children with high functioning autism? I love books and I want my children to as well but they struggle with comprehension. Anyone have any suggestions?

I’ve heard that you can use IEW for a full LA curriculum but I’m trying to figure out how? Honestly I worry I’m not smart enough to use IEW sometimes 😬 it’s a bit intimidating but it also sounds SO good!

I know the DVD's obviously make it easier to understand material but if one was to skip the DVD's and just do the workbook do you think it would make a huge difference in understanding the concept and material?
Yes, I wouldn’t skip the DVDs. It’s the instructional part that you need to fully understand. The book has short ends notes of the DVDs, but it would be much harder to get the concepts without them. You could always try and see if you can do it with the book alone, but it made a huge difference for me.

This looks so good! We are doing the 3 week sample for Structure and Style for my oldest, for next year. She has really enjoyed it so far.

Logic was a fantastic course! A favorite this year for sure.

DVD? Who has a DVD player?
Many people do. You can also get an adapter for your laptop, which is what I use. Works great!
