    I throw a lot of MVP just cuz pretty much all their discs are flat, have smooth edges and good rigidity.
    Molds fly pretty consistent from run to run and flight doesn't vary too much between plastics.

      I haven’t bought an mvp/axiom disc that matches what the flight numbers would suggest. They have all been consistently more overstable than I’d expect. It may come down to how flat the discs are, but they sure need to figure that part out.

    • @OvertPumkin

    • @alwolschleger7242
      @alwolschleger7242 9 месяцев назад

      @@serenityinsilence Flight numbers are a) a joke and b) different from ecosystem to ecosystem. Trilogy always way overstates their stability (there's no Stag ever made that's a -1/2!). MVP understates their stability. Innova invented flight numbers but their discs basically make their flight numbers a range.

    - RPM
    - Viking
    - Divergent
    - Finish Line
    - Elevation

    I've been an Innova Boy for over 35 years and have all my slots filled (phrasing) with discs in various states of wear. But I've struggled with finding consistency in fairway drivers. I just don't have the time to break in 3 or 4 to have enough to practice with. I found the Arrow from Gateway for that "flat-to-flip and not burn over" slot. I also found a nice disc for longer anheizer shots that will still fight to stay fairly stable in the Oxygen by Element, a new company. And you can't go wrong with Prodigy's F7 for rollers. I gave up dicking with new putters and currently bag a beadless Aviar that's close to 30 years old. This old dog is always willing to learn new tricks.

As for the other molds I’ve tried from mvp, I can’t say that it has that effect lol. I think it’s just cuz the fission wave is understable and I love throwing on hyzer. The innova R pro pig is the most unique disc I’ve ever thrown. It is reliable, overstabl, and once it hits the ground it just stops on a dime. Amazing disc. I have a few other approach discs but this is a must have in my opinion. A solid overstable mid or zone type disc is a must have to pair with the pig just to have a slide in os disc because pig doesn’t slide at all. Which is lovely if you have the air space. I also bag a berg-x for forehands. The prodigy pa-5 rounds up my approach discs as the understabls e compliment to the berg-x.

    The venom is actually a retooling of an old mold. I hate to be that guy lol

      It’s a brand new mold which takes the old name, and replaces the old venom. Not a retool of the old mold. Trevor is well aware of this fact, unlike you.
      You truly are ”that guy”. Clueless and overconfident.

    I would not recommend Innova to anyone. You cant recommend a brand that makes discs that mostly needs to be modified before its in throwable condition. Obviously same goes for prodigy.

    When mentioning MVP, you can’t leave out the diversity with their non-overmold lineup in Streamline. Still under that same umbrella and fill a few different gaps that the overmold doesn’t fill yet

    I’m a brand loyal guy. Discraft is all that I bag with some Trash Panda stuff. Started with Innova but leaned more to Discraft. Love Dark Horse marketing…….go head and roast me lol

    There was already 1 speeds with tons of glide way before the Glitch and Watt; MVP didn't innovate that, they just replicated discs people long forgot about.

    I think some of the innova molds are money, but most of them look stale and dated. The champion plastic looks better but often the colors are drab and muted. We want bright easy to see colors in most cases…

    Personally I feel like innovas plastic feels like one of the worst to me, star is okay but esp feels better, champ is pretty good but lucid or c-line feels better. Don’t love their putting plastics either, just my opinion

    Innova = classic plastic and molds, ages like a fine wine
    Discraft = old school molds and plastic
    Trilogy = buttery plastic, very domey & glidey
    MVP = high quality plastic, very flat & stable
    Prodigy = haven't thrown much...
