I understand they (the filmmakers) had to paint Quinn in a positive light as to not dissuade bad reviews from the Female Audience. But Quinn is a bad person, not a “I made a horrible mistake” but a legitimate bad human being. She sleeps with her husbands boss which results in him losing both his job and his wife. Proceeds to show up to the procession around the death of Judds Father, Guilt trips him by bringing up a miscarriage, Expects a happier response from the man she cheated on, and than proceeds to pull of some teary eyed “please come talk to me” bullshit.

@@ianinkster2261 don’t mind that Cheater seething in the comments they are all over the place here
@@RomanvonUngernSternbergnrmfvus she probably is exactly like the cheating woman in the movie. Cheats with her significant other, but the partner doesn't give a shit about her or anything.
The level of narcissism, she only feels guilty cause she was caught not cause she cheated. I can read her up and down like a book. She ain’t sorry and using something as beautiful as a child to alleviate her wrong doings. 😂
But it is his child. Fact. Only an asshole would revisit that onto the child.
Well, she's a woman...
@@lizziebkennedy7505 I'd be that asshole anyday.
I think I just realized the significance of the child coming out at the end. It gave him a sign of the joy to come, even in messy things.
There's no joy in that.
Lol 18 years of only seeing your kid on the weekends & paying crippling child support? Also, the wife’s new boyfriend/husband spending more time with your kid then you to the point they get called daddy by the child? It’s hell. Also, good luck dating when the women find out you have a child with your ex & that your finances are completely screwed.
The woman completely wins in this scenario. Gets away with cheating due to no severe consequences & not only has her ex keep funding her lifestyle for the next 18 years but her new partner will also be paying for the rest of the expenses. She gets two men funding her. Also free babysitter for the weekends. Considering the affair partner is sterile that also means they won’t need to get a sperm donation & can have a child right away together.
What?
@@jasenhunt6095not for you misery guts, but fortunately many ppl are different from you
@@Rushinator1so, you had a child, and you don’t think you should have to support them? Deadbeat. And why didn’t you get more custody? Don’t you have character witnesses? Weekend custody always means judge doesn’t think the dad is up to it. And they’re Almost always right.

I like how accurate this is in how she takes zero accountability, speaks for his own feelings on the matter, manipulates him, rewrites the narrative to her liking, and went homie- & salary-hopping. Like it or not, this is what you call proper representation. Thanks, Gloria Steinem!

No accountability.
Zero consequences.
Blames the man.
Just like real life.
I respect this because I can't do it. I am fiercely loyal to those I love and compassionate. After what she did, she would be dead to me. She could die in the most brutal way and I would sleep like a baby. That may be cold to some people, but that's me.
Erick Santos- I'm the same way.
for me, it's one and done. I hate being treated like an idiot. I always say - You want me gone, say it and I am gone. You want more, less, something different - talk to me. Just don't try pulling something and if you do, make it so I never find out. There's no A for effort in my books.
Absolutely agree
@@lordmorklen5166 I disagree with part of that. Effort matters a great deal, because no effort ensures the end of a relationship. What this woman did was not effort.

Truly great acting
Adam Driver is just amazing he looks like whatever age he needs to be
'This is happening Judd, you're going to be a father...'
What an interesting dynamic in modern society. A woman can terminate a pregnancy on her own without the buy-in from the man AND can also bring a baby into this world without the buy-in from the man. It's almost like women have the ultimate power in this situation yet still come out as the victim.

Yep and they should not do this I mean being a shit human being is not gender related I have seen so many movies where guy's cheat he is scum but women cheat it was just a mistake and the classic it was the guy's fault when she cheats the classic example for this Is the movie unfaithful god I hate that movie. And I am not saying men cheating is fine no it's not nobody should cheat on their partner.
yes, she's a bitch and she doesnt take any responsibility for what she has done.
wat?? I dont think the female audience would give a shit if she continued to be shown as a bad person. Have you SEEN female lead movies? Those characters are straight up assholes thats why women like the movies so much because the characters arent coddled and easily forgiven for their mistakes. As a woman myself I hate that they didnt make Quinn feel some kind of shame or remorse. During the entire movie I wanted to punch her and the not yet existing baby bcuz FUCK both of them
That’s women in a nutshell, evil manipulative calculative thots, screw the lotta them
As a woman, I loathe her character. Shitty people shouldn’t get respect from either gender. But it was a good movie otherwise.
Okay, if he didn’t answer her calls, how did she know where he was?
Apologies for the late reply - BUT - in the book, the Father's death made the local news, as his business was well known. Her parents passed it on
Also it’s implied that they’ve been together for a while, and she’s been to his parents house before.
His father died you thick git. He’s sitting shiva 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
PROBABLY STILL WAS ABLE TO TRACK HIM VIA HIS PHONE/GPS.
As par for the course, a cheater shifting blame to the other person instead of actually taking accountability for their shitty behavior
But Justice comes for her when Wade decides at the hospital that he is our and walking away. Now she is alone and hopefully will continue to be after the child grows up...good luck with your cats bitch!!
Thats Manipulation Buddy
It's so funny how she had some nerve to show up and think his reaction would be different after she told him about the child being his. She's lucky he didn't kick her out or force her to leave the house before she had a chance to say anything.

Hate how movies like this normalize this type of behavior. If I were him, and if it were really mine, I’d sue her for full custody, take the baby from her and remarry. Maybe then she could talk about how “distant” I am.
Good luck with that. In Western courts, it's so biased towards the mother it's absurd. Unless she's a kiddie fiddler or a drug addict, the court will rule in her favour.
