Nice work using the star method to bolt down the lugs. Your new wheels look tons better than what was there prior!

Hey Elijah! Sorry to correct you, but unless they are fakes (which is unlikely), what you seem to have there are a set of one of the coolest OEM Porsche wheels that were available as an upgrade when your car was delivered new. I am biased though as I love them. I have a set on my Seal Grey 2001 Carrera too but in original silver! They are genuine 2 piece race derived rims (made I think by BBS) and are quite lightweight - they even came with titanium rim bolts. Yours were not done any favours by some fuckwit painting them in black, but in bright silver (or with silver rim and gold face) they look great, especially with Seal Grey. If you hate them, get them refinished in OEM silver and sell 'em - they will be worth a bit of cash - probably enough left over to cover the cost of refinishing your new rims. They retail for over $1,000 each on Suncoast and that is just for the cheaper fronts. Look up Porsche Sport Classic II rims. The new ones you fitted are very very nice too, but I prefer my Sport Classic II's - they are certainly not trashy aftermarket wheels, are period correct and factory original and they drive really nicely on my car!
Oh, and if they are actually 17" wheels, they are Porsche Sport Classic wheels. The 18" are Sport Classic II.

Unfortunately, these are not those rims. The ones you are referring to have a single stud between each spoke of the rim and the studs are metal (because its a real 2 piece rim). These had three studs between each spoke and were plastic (because it was a fake, 2 piece rim) these rims were also 19" (which was not an option for the Sport Classic II) and they were two wide as well (both front and back rims scraped on the the wheel wells) I appreciate all of the great information, but these were unfortunately, definitely not Sport Classic II's

If you still have the tool kit, it should include a wheel hanger which will help you when installing the wheels. You can also get one from Amazon for around $9.

Yep the wheel hanger is a must have. Better yet, pick up a second one and it'll make installing a wheel even more easy👍

Much better, it's a Porsche after all, classy. getting rid of aftermarket rims you'd put in a teenagers JDM car made it look much better.

100% agree, I hated them from the minute I got the car, and you know...The car drives so much smoother now
