My unit may be defective. I also didn't get any dry wall things for the screws it came with. So leads me to think it very well may be defective. Got the cables in right, nice and tight. Idk. Getting a cable tester tomorrow just to double check. But yeah. This is a let down. Happened when I got my nest thermostat as well.
Oh no I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure they will work with you on a replacement if it turns out DOA. They have been a great company to work with for me.
@@BoredGuyWithACamera thanks. they n3eded some info to send the replacement, havent gotten a response on if its out yet or not. but it is a weekend now. Just sucks, that 2 smart devices requiring wiring, nest and this, didnt work on me when i set it up right. ugh. lol. I am disappointed in the "bulb" part not being color changing as well. could b3 cool for them to do so for added visual effects.
I am now officially stumped. They sent me out another. With the wire tester. All things including the copper parts, were beeping while the light was connected and switch was on. Yet, nothing. No light flickering on and off. Or even turning on at all. I'm frustrated as to why this is happening.
It almost sounds like your wires are backwards or you could have an electrical problem. Did you have an issue with the light that you had installed prior to this?
@@BoredGuyWithACamera no. which is what makes this strange. The apartments installed the previous light. Everything seemed to be fine with the wire tester as well. The black wire was getting power. so were the copper things on the light.
@@BoredGuyWithACamera So it ended being these metal plates on the inside. One it wouldnt actually lock into place though it was, bc the plate was down. So it wouldnt send the signal. The other was bent even worse, but onc3 corrected, both worked. Im not sure how this happened with a brand new light 2 times it was basically the same issue. But both working and a free light out of it. lol. Cant beat that. Ive been using it for awhile. The ufo leds are too dim to use by themselves, and even on 1 percent, its almost too bright for my 11 x 12 room.
Good lighting effect.
Thank you
Great
Thank you.
Great video!
Thank you so much for leaving feedback. It's greatly appreciated.
Amazing
Thank you.
Do you need a lighting fixture in to use this? Or does it just stick to the ceiling?
Thank you for stopping by to watch the video, it is a hardwired light fixture.
