Jonathan carrying the ladder was already badass. But he doesn't stop there. The chad swims BACK and retrieves his teammates that have fallen behind. I already liked him, but this moment made him my absolute favorite moving forward. I hope he comes back someday
you already know he will be targeted immediately at the merge unless they also bring in challenge threats pre season 40 otherwise who tf is gonna be there that's a bigger immunity threat 😂
he saved this season...one of the worst seasons to be honest in my opinion and the last 2 are weven worse.... i hope 46 ok or im done...he was 1 of the 3 redemable actual survivor contestants...( i mean he had potentil to be drafter in lets say season 10...most these clowns they woulda thrown in the garbage pile in season 10 but now there gold...like f

Seeing Thor play survivor is the best thing that ever happened.

jonathan was so good at the challenges..he needs to come back..a little bit more practice on the puzzle area, and then he has great potential to win..i really want him to be invited to the show "The Challenge"..it feels like he might do really well!

Jonathon is definitely coming back for another season. Beat Ozzy, Malcolm, James Clement, Joe Anglim hands down. He is so likeable never bitter when he was voted out unlike Ozzy and Malcolm. You could tell he really enjoyed his time on Survivor. Was socially aware that his tribe was gunning for him unlike James and Joe. I just wish he was a little better in puzzles and went out to hunt for advantages and Idol.
He was mad that the girl called him Goliath but if he was put in that season he would make half of the Goliath tribe look like they belonged with the Davids

This dude needs to compete on The Challenge, he would be so dominate, and the challenge actually comes down to who's the best, survivor is too heavily dependent on emotions and grudges. So people who should win easily get beat by people who were carried. Just season season 41 and 42. The Challenge that can't happen because you have to eliminate your opponents, so that format is way better then survivor for someone like him.
5:58 Ok for those who that are wondering about jonathan when he said he wanted to be on survivor since he was 14
he was on a discovery kids show called endurance and he was on the final season in fiji when he was 14 he was the red team along with his hannah they finished 3rd and it was hard to see him go😞 if you haven't watched endurance i suggests you should definitely watch it
He was also on the show WWE Legends biography of Lex Luger. It shows Luger in his wheelchair mentoring Jonathan during a workout
That temple mission was BS red should’ve been in the final. 1 nut and Jonathan happens to pull it.

I *HATE* the fact that Jonathon calling them a "solid 4" was considered shooting himself in the foot. I miss the days of 2 tribes when going into the merge with numbers (and sticking together) was a priority.
While Jonathan dominated the physical challenges, Lindsay dominated the balance challenges

People always point to the ladder and that's really great, but my favorite moment will always be him out swimming all the other teams AND Maryanne, while pulling the boat himself
He deserves another chance to challenge for the 1 million dollars,he is super human,THOR, the whole season was a 1 man show
He is my fav player ever I don’t care if its cockren parviti or Sandra this guy is the only human being I have ever seen that has hulk strength brains and a social and strategic game one of the best players to ever grace this game hope to seem him back on the show soon

I want him back on the show so badly. He’s so dedicated to his fitness, but you can also tell he’s mentally mature. He may have been a big burley guy but you can tell he’s so sweet under all that muscle
3:37 you can see jonathan take the idol and has a moment where he's like yeah.. i did that. Then in less than a half a second realizes he's playing survivor and gives it away to his tribe. Dude really did play as nice as humanely possible for the first couple weeks. As soon as he acts normal lindsay thinks he's a jerk lol
It may sound corny but it just goes to show that everyone has stereotypes and biases against them. Drea was talking about subconscious racism, but Johnathon has to deal with the assumptions people make based on his body type and appearance. Obviously that’s COMPLETELY different that systemic racism, but it still is a valid point that everyone deals with this BS
I personally know Jonathan. And I am proud of him and how far he got in the show. I know I speak for his family as well about how proud they are of him and how far he got. Have you ever have the chance of personally knowing him, is no different of a console on the show as he is in person. An absolute amazing person to get to know. Be a Savage not an average Jonathan! ✊

He always crushes the physical segments but always lose in the puzzle and balance ones. Unfortunately, most challenges are balance and puzzle nowadays

He was either 1st or 2nd in every challenge post-merge so I’d say he did pretty well in the individual portion even if he had just 2 wins. He actually didn’t do too bad at the Final 5 puzzle either, he just got stuck at one spot and fell behind

He will be back; new ozzy and way too likeable. Dude is built like a real world version of the shit we see in movies, the bodies that are sustainable for like 16 hours
This guy actually made these boring challenges seem entertaining
Rewatching other seasons with people like Rupert, Bruce(45), John(David vs Goliath), Danny(41), Jonathan is far and away the strongest physical person to ever play survivor
I was so sad when he didnt make it in fire challenge... But who knows if he would win, since the survival woke agenda is real in last seasons. But god bless for Jonathon, since that was one of few likable persons in past season and was amazing to watch him during challenges.
My favourite Survivor player along with Ozzie in Cook Is. How adorable, hot, massive, and serene can a guy be? Best thing is that his appearance shows uniqueness, he could've had a buzz cut and been drapped in Under Armour but no, he had a style of his own. I love this guy.
When they play the theme song after so long not hearing it.. strictly because he’s a beast and a true survivor during that giant boulder challenge.. immediate goosebumps
Wooooow…… hes always had this aura around him that made him so likeable 😍 glad to see he got to relive his childhood in a way, because he was also on Endurance Fiji! Crazy how things come full circle!

The worst injustice in Survivor history- was a person like Romeo who did nothing but eat- but by luck, wins the last challenge and takes out Jonathan on fire. I enjoyed Jonathan so much. I just wish Survivor would put more masculine men on the show. Jonathan was a breath of fresh air for the show.
Johnathon is one of my favorite survivors contestants EVER, but I also disagree that it’s an “injustice”. One of the main things about survivor that’s unique is that the outwardly strong players are targeted first. That’s just how it works. Romeo may not have stood out in the gameplay aspect, but blending into the background can get you surprisingly far in this game. It’s just how it works. It feels “wrong” for the best players to be targeted and eliminated, but that’s quite literally how survivor works

For real, I agree. I do like Maryanne. She was annoying but in a sweet kind of way. But Jonathan was an absolute beast. And he was the reason that they were able to eat. Weak players making it far is so gross to me. Like Romeo was useless. He didn't deserve to be there. Man was a fly on the wall.

The only people who win Survivor nowadays are the usual wimps who skate by because the rules have been skewed in their favor. If you actually had to compete to survive on Survivor, Jonathan would have won. Survivor has turned into a balance/puzzles/strategy game to make it fair for the wimps who can't hack it, and would not survive on a real island anyways.
@@CultofmikaJonathan was never winning a jury vote unfortunately, because new school seasons respect gameplay, and Jonathan would’ve lost to both Maryanne, Mike, and Lindsay
If this was an old school season though, he wins easily because old school season juries were more based on personal bonds and work ethic (ex: Brian Heidik, despite dominating his season strategically, won solely because of his work ethic around camp)

Nah. Jonathan wasn’t winning even if he made it to the end. A lot of people didn’t like his attitude on the jury and he was looked more as a goat. The edit just made it seem that Jonathan’s social game was good.
