See this is a good audition video. Wasn't just all speak about how you're gonna play the game. It was personalable, spoke about who he is, how he grew up - A story to tell. And this translated to the show as we also heard about this during an episode about his story. Audition tapes they don't want to know how many people you're going to blindside, or how many idols you find, they want to hear your story.
Well you guys have to keep in mind that this is his audition which is old. It takes a while to get on after an audition for almost everyone. He is 29 now on survivor not 25 like this audition. Tons of people own businesses, that doesn't affect hair, come on man lol. Hair is genetic more than anything, and it's not his hair that makes him look a bit older, I would say it's the beard and just the rough look in general. Maybe higher testosterone made him look a little older, but it's hard to say because it doesn't always work that way. Very impressive guy though in terms of strength and athleticism. I would like to see him do well.
Looks can be deceiving. At first, I thought he was a self centered jock devoted to his body when he first came on the show. But in this video, he comes across as a smart guy who knows what he wants. He is amazing at challenges and winning. He is a threat and I am amazed that he is still there. If he wins, he deserves it.
Damn, it's going to be hard for me to see everyone trying to take out Jonathan at the merge. I hope he finds an idol. They always try to take out the physical player at the merge. Normally I would assume that Jonathan could bank on winning the first couple immunities. But supposedly the hourglass twist is coming back, so it's very possible that he will have his immunity taken away. I don't think Jonathan will find an idol but Maryanne has an idol and an extra vote that she could use to save him. She wouldn't use the idol on him but she could use the extra vote to try and get rid of someone from another tribe. Nonetheless I would expect Jonathan to be in a lot of danger next episode or the one after
