Thank you!!
Who the hell is Oscar
Oscar Penelo is haunting me in my dreams
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Its a award 🥇
U
I have tried multiple tutorials and they didn't work and yours worked perfectly fine. Thank you so much.
[Edit] so I tried saying Alexa turn off Bob and it did not work and also I made the name, Bob, so yeah sad😢
now my pc belongs to oscar?
Apparently it doesn't actually work at all until you buy the license because I have to do that in order to activate the account
This method reminds of ol Johnny Pepperoni Seeds.
Cool. Will try that later on my son pc…
I followed all the steps!! When I get to the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller I don't have that in my network Adapters. Any Suggestions?
same problem
Is your pc connected wired or wireless?
i bought the licence and the alexa app is not finding my device, i already downloaded the pc software and entered the both fields and it says connected, how do i look for the device??
last statement was funny aswell as risky
True kinda risky
i feel stupid asking this but how do i turn off the pc, can i just say it to alexa?
@@lordkarlchen3777 unfortunately you have to pay for that functionality, it really sucks. You can only turn on the pc using this program for free
I’m confused on the bios what do I do?
Thanks for the vid! I was able to get it to turn on and off my computer. but how do you control your monitor to turn on also? right now, I have dual monitors plugged into a smart plug, Alexa routine to turn them both on and off, but when turning on with the routine my screens stay black until I move my mouse. any ideas to fix that?
Plug them into the wall the computer should turn them on automatically. What monitors do you have?
Thanks. That's what I did. We
ll... technically just on thier own power strip. Now everything is fully operational. 😊
Funny thing is I can only seem to get it to turn off, but I can't get it to turn on with Alexa.
My bios looks different, but I did see an option.
In my bios if I go to advanced, then go down to power options, I see a setting that says deep sleep control And if I click it it says disable, enable an S5 only, and enable an S4 and S5
Hey bro, I need your help
The name of my computer is showing in alexa app and everythings done but my pc won't start I have repeated this process twice too but it isn't working
Plssss HELPPPPP!!!
The menu thing at end is very confusing with HP
@quaversal I did everything you asked precisely but still it's not working...My alexa just says ok when i ask to shut down and does nothing. If it helps i have a pcie wifi adapter conneted to my mother board. Please help me with this
i think it works only to start the pc for free ... to do a shutdown u have to pay extra
Yes you can only start it for free, unfortunately you have to pay to shut it down. Hopefully in the future they change that
This wont work if wireless right?
I don't have that driver, Do I have to have ethernet cable plug in my PC to install it?
Yes I believe that should work
Bro I can't see the resume by pci-e device in ufei setting
Can anybody help me???
how to know the name of my computer? on wol site? or alexa app?
I do not have a Realtek PCIe under the Network adapters.. just WAN miniports
Did you ever figure out a way that works
Did you ever work it out?
x2
Did u figure it out?
it's not working, it just says off in the alexa app and when i ask her to turn it on she says ok but nothing happens, i turned on wol, i can't find wake on pcie, and when i go to my network adapter properties there's no "power management". i'm on windows 11 home and actually need help please help
Same problem
I do not have a Realtek PCIe under the Network adapters pleasssse help!!!
Did you ever work out which one works?
@@Frnsthoughts yes. If you can't find the 'Realtek PCIe Gbe Family Controller' it's because your LAN hardware is called something else. Just find the one with the word Controller in it. Mine is called the 'Intel(R) Ethernet Controller.
It doesnt work for me, i think it might have to do with my computer being connected through ethernet and my echo dot through wifi. Thanks in advance for any response
Yeah I’ve had a couple people tell me that it wouldn’t work with their internet connection which I’m not sure why that’s happening. However if you haven’t already, try doing the whole tutorial over again because the process I showed in the video I had to do twice because it didn’t work for me either the first time
Is bluetooth needed for this method to work or it totally depend on wifi because i don’t have bluetooth on my pc
It’s all wifi, shouldn’t need Bluetooth at all
just need to buy the license as mentioned in the disclaimer last word
does it work If I have my ethernet through a repeater. Like WiFi>Repeater>Ethernet>PC????
Yes I believe it should work
tURN oFF...How... T_T
I did everything and it still doesnt work. What do i do?
Can you use a different phrase other than turn on office?
Yes you can choose any other phrase
It's way too much involved just for my Alexa to turn off my computer
i have an so first question is, is it there working too? and the second one is is it working in COMPLETLY shuttles down too? not only in sleep?
Donald work on Windows 11
didnt work
do i need to buy the license? what is it for?
It’s only if you want to turn off your computer with Alexa as well. Hopefully in the future they will update it so you won’t need the license
i just left when the bios part showed up
Bios settings can be scary, honestly I'm not even sure what half of the stuff does
mine doesnt have that
Bro u have my same pc case with the same mbo and same cpu as well
What if it’s not under network adapters
Same i dont have that under my options
does this work on the jarvis you made a few videos back?, would be really cool
I’m assuming there’s probably a way, I can try and figure it out but it might be a little above what I’m able to code lol
@@qvrsl would be realllyyyy helpfull
Cant find my wake up think in the main main settings
I’m not sure what you mean yet, are you referring to the windows settings, the Alexa app settings, or the bios settings? I would recommend trying the whole process again because sometimes things show up and work the second time around
Does anyone know if its just a one time payment of 12 euros?
It is just a one time payment I’m pretty sure but don’t quote me on it
So, now all world now my mac address and csn power up my computer...
Bro when i restarted my pc my screen is black
I don’t got uefi
Can you please tell me i have done everything just like you said but i cannot find my computer in alexa app 1:56
Is your computer and your Alexa both connected to the same internet?
@@qvrsl yes sir
I kinda had a similar problem where once I connected the computer and tried to tell Alexa to turn it on, it wouldn’t find my computer. I ended up just deleting everything I did and I redid the whole process and it worked, so maybe give that a shot since that’s what worked for me. If it doesn’t let me know and I might have a couple more fixes
@@qvrsl yep it worked thanks bro .. however i did a stupid thing my pc name was my name and now i changed pc name but my echo dot still turns on computer when i say old name. Now i will reconnect it and hope it starts with new name.
Your mic volume levels are wayyy too loud. great guide though thanks!
I thought they were a little loud in this video too but I’ve also had people in the past tell me my mic is too quiet. I think in my newer videos I finally found that happy medium lol. Thanks a lot!
@@qvrslhey, I don't see the PCIe the family controller I. Network adapters and it also won't turn on my computer, if you could guide be k. How to fix this that would be awesome thank you!
And what about security concerns? Giving your MAC Adress to...Who?(maybe @he's a very trustable and honest person, but...)seems to be something ...risky? Potentially, you're opening your computer door giving your MAC adress. Isn't it?
I did all the step and its still not working . :(
Make sure you added top mac adres it worked for me
Ok, ive done all the steps in the video but isnt working…
Yeah sometimes it’s really fidgety, mine didn’t work the first time, so I recommend redoing the whole process again because I restarted it for mine and it ended up working for some reason
idk about you, but i have windows 11, maybe thats why i cannot see realtek...?
Yeah that could be it I didn’t think about that. That would definitely mess with some of the menus
I dont have relatek
This is bad now I don’t have my pc account this sucks
I don't have power management
Mine to has no power management, and it's still worked
bro not everyone is going to have that lan device
What is a "Lan Device"
How can i do it on gigabyte ?
I’m a little confused, can you explain further?
@@qvrsl the io settings how can i do it on gigabyte mother board
I don’t have one so I’m not entirely sure, but I think this should help: linustechtips.com/topic/1165873-how-to-enable-power-up-by-pci-on-motherboard/
Erm bro pls make it free to turn off that’s wat I needed most if it’s on ur behalf but good video anyway❤
Thank you :) Yeah unfortunately this isn’t my program, when I found out it costs money to turn off I was super annoyed because that’s what I needed as well
@@qvrsl no problem that’s unfortunate hopefully some1 will berate a free program soon
@egg_rl7118 idk if this will help that much but I have something called rain meter and then get an app called mii power which adds some buttons to the home screen where I can click them and turn it off there
@@gavinskaria9643 yes but I want to turn it off from like my bed
@@egg_rl7118use a Raspberry pi
how to turn off with Alexa?
too complex and risky
Yes I agree it is kinda complex, it’s hard to know what you’re doing if you aren’t following a good step-by-step tutorial. This is definitely not risky though, all your personal data is secure and there are no chances of viruses or any bad things getting through during this process
How can I do this through wifi? Router>Wifi>PC.
I believe it should be the same process is what I've heard? Is the process not working for you? I'm sorry about my late response I haven't seen your comment until now
talks toooooo fast hard to follow!!!
Bro are you slow?
@@dripdemon9449 give him a break, english prolly aint his first lang😂😂
Play at half speed then 🫣😂😂😜🤪
Work only with sleep mode.
I do not have a Realtek PCIe under the Network adapters pleasssse help!!!
