Most investment bankers will have a Econ/Finance/MBA backgrounds. But individuals have other degrees as well eg maths and engineering. In terms of certification really depends on the division you are looking at. Hope that helps 🙂
As enticing as a career in investment banking looks like, it is not for the faint hearted.
