NE Arizona stays really cold well into April, warm by day in the sun but the nights are cold. Spring is really windy. It's not like southern AZ. Make sure the land has access, otherwise you bought a useless dud.

Why not try posting on snappr.com there are a bunch of people who take pictures for about $100 you can send them over there.
Or go on droners.io and hire someone to go fly drone around your land and get you pics and maybe video of it too.

Everywhere I look is $10 grand for 1 acre. Unless I can pay $40 grand, then it's still $3 grand an acre... tikes. If I buy land then I cant put a shack on it to live in.

Frustrated in ohio
Ohio has a residual farming value to the land so its hard to get the price down that low. Maybe there is some non farmable land like too much water or hill or rock or something like that kinds of land. I would look at the assessments of the land in the county you like and focus in on the lowest assessed ones. Maybe the bottom 2% or 5% depending on how many there are. Those properties should be the pits. The non farmable land. If any of them are useable for you offer the owners cash less than you think and see if they take it or counter offer you. If that does not work try the next county.

So are all the properties there have ways to get in? Or are they land locked?
No properties in Arizona are landlocked, but that doesn't mean there's a way to get a vehicle to them. Does that make sense?
A lot of the properties have county roads going to the property line but it may or may not be a maintained county road, depends on how many people live down it. Lot of washes in the area that wash out the roads and they can get bad in places, and some of the roads can be miles and miles of jarring your teeth rocky road that's basically just 2 ruts through the desert and never maintained even though it's a cointy road...Google Earth can giive you a good ideal of the road situation...
The further you get away from showlow up toward Concho on Hwy 61 and north and west of Concho probably the worse the road situation will be.... If I was looking for raw land with maintained roads, I would look closer to Vernon area on Hwy 60 and 61, but you won't get 40 acres there at 8,000 dollars. Maybe 1 to 2 acres.

Yes occasionally but the sun comes out every day and melts it off by lunch or maybe even breakfast.

Campervan Kevin lives in Apache County. He says it's very R.V. friendly.
There is a limitation on camping on your property but haven't heard of it being enforced. People living fulltime in trailers and sheds. I have property 3 miles from Kevin. Parts of Apache look like Mars, other parts like mine are grass and treed. Mars goes cheap like this parcel. Treed parcels in Witch Wells and Concho are in the $800-1000/acre range. Get closer to Show Low price skyrockets. Yavapai County only allows 2 weeks a year as a comparison. Check my channel for 2 videos I did showing more typical Concho vegetation.

Very Very doubtful. Probably Solar, wind, gas generator for electricity and drill a water well or haul water for this land..
