Yes, I do Love crocheting. My mother made all kinds of baby clothes, blankets, toys, dolls, etc. Miss her so... thanks for sharing. Makes my heart sing
My Father worked for the U.S. Post Office for almost 40 years in Rocky Mount, N.C. He was still working there when they decided to remove the old P.O. Boxes & replace them with newer ones. Someone took all those little doors & did the same thing with them as your friend in Georgia. My Dad bought one for me, my sister & each of the grandkids. That was over 20 years ago. Since then we have seen replicas of these boxes also. (Maybe made in China!) We still have these Post Office Banks & enjoy them very much. I also enjoy collecting "old, unique" things also.😊

Clearly, anyone who watches y’all will bear witness to the fact that you are incredibly smart, wise, quick witted and complex. There’s one fella who I watch that anytime he wants to express a thought he finds ignorant, he uses a (really badly done I might add) southern drawl to express his point. 😤 🙄 I always think, who’s really simpleminded here? I really Enjoy these videos. These are really crazy time we live in, Almost like living in the "Twilight Zone". But You Katie, Corie, and All of your Family and Friends help keep many people sane and even happy in these times we live in. Many Many Thanks.
I really think that piggy bank is neat. Not alot of origional crafts around here in Chicago. And the birds of paradise rock is beautiful. Love the video⚘
I really liked the way you spent time with your chickens and pulled the grass for them. I see a lot of folks just throw the feed in the coop get the eggs and never say too much to "the producers of breakfast". Also that you featured Mollie, the dog you were caring for. Your cabochons are so beautiful!
Just recently found your channel while watching your mom’s channel. I am happy to see how y’all are representing the traditional Appalachian lifestyle. Y’all are very talented and entertaining. The first video I saw was where your mom was asking y’all to define the old Appalachian terms. That was so funny that I had to get my wife and kids to sit down and watch it. I remember my mom and grandmother using many of those old sayings. Have y’all ever thought about coming to Homestead Hollow in Springville Alabama? They hold a festival there twice a year that would be perfect for y’all. Really enjoying the channel as well as your mom’s channel. Keep up the good work.
You ladies always do great videos, I am amazed at your talent in everything you do even if its feeding chickens or your neighbors dog, I truly enjoy everything you share on here.

I like hearing about the plants and what you can use them for, how you mix'em up, etc... I like chicken tips. I'm in Dallas, Texas but a lot of us have backyard chickens.
Enjoyed this video ladies! Corie, We love taking time to hang out with our chickens and all of our animals here on the homestead as far as that goes. And yes Katie I love OLD stuff as well, things were made so much better back in the day with much more pride put into it. I love that wooden box (Piggy Bank) especially with the OLD post office box door 👍🏻🙌🏻. Thanks for sharing. GOD Bless Y’all. 🙏🏻😊🙏🏻😊
@@thepressleygirls Katie that first agate you showed looked like it had pansied embedded into it on the back! What a gorgeous piece! Pansies are one of my favorite flowers. My husband, his dad, and one of his sisters have this gift of being able to find at least one four-leaf clover every time they come across a clover patch. They don't even really have to search for them - they can usually just look down and one will pop out at them. I have never found one on my own, and neither has my mother-in-law. Almost every big book in my house has a million pressed and dried four-leaf clovers stuck inside of it. So not only do they find them all the time, they save every single one!
Girlfriend I forage all the time and never saw a four leaf clover ever before. Do you live at the end of a rainbow?...😂 that's awesome. I get nightmares if I take yarrow and Motherwort tincture together. It's really weird. P.s. happy Easter to you all there :)))

Katie, I'd love to see more of your jewelry and finished projects. you have a wonderful talent. The Post office "bank" is amazing. I am fascinated with old, antique stuff and the history behind it.
Love your videos, so lovely to see such a happy and meaningful video. Love what you do Katie! Also that box is amazing, I used to live in Sicily and there I was always looking at old stuff from back in the late 1800s to early 1900s. So much history and beauty, they sure don't make em like they used to. God bless you ladies and your family. Stay safe and love your channel and your moms! Makes me seriously want to move to the most precious place in the US.
Lots of interesting stuff! I went to visit your rock shop on etsy and you were taking a break, but I will come back and look sometime soon. I'm so glad there are younger folks who have an interest the old things! Thanks to your mom and dad for teaching you to value what came before. I enjoy everything you girls share. I love watching y'alls family videos! The music, cooking, gardening and Appalachian language and sayings. I sent a word that my dad use to use all the time to your mom and she responded very quickly. I wanted to tell you about some flint we have here in the panhandle of Texas called alibates. Not sure if its easier to get but my look into it. It looks similar to the rocks you have shined up already. Thanks for sharing y'alls videos, Clay Patterson P.S. the word I sent your mom was catterwallin!
Loved the video Corie and yes would love to see you do the crochet pattern. I loved the video where your Granny showed you how to make the diamonds also maybe show how you do that pattern as well. Much love and many blessings to you and the family. Stay safe.
I found your channel because of my interest music, but also because of your life style. Also, my genealogy shows that many generations lived in your area. Your knowledge of plants, appreciation for your pristine, clear water creek. Your mama knows her way around the kitchen. . . Keep sharing your life style and music . .love it!
A day in the life for you two sisters is so interesting and busy with worthwhile interests and past times. It would solve many of today's problems if more young people did the same. I especially liked your thoughts on the clover. Reminded me so clearly of my childhood in Alabama playing and chasing my cousins barefooted through the clover and occasionally stepping on a bee in a clover flower, which the bee did not appreciate. Very good show !
I’m always the same way with the 4 leaf clovers. As a kid, I made my 4 siblings so mad at me because I could find them one right after the other. Thanks for the memories!
I love these slice of life vidja's, it's always cool seeing what stuffs y'all are into! I'm a huge fan of collecting old stuff as well, and fixing it up when I can to give it a new life. I've been getting into vintage analog gear a lot more recently; nothing beats that old gear's sound. (sometimes!) I actually just got my first fiddle too, it's just a student model from 1950s, but man does it have that old school mojo. It'd be rad to see y'all go antiquing or something like that!

Also, my aunt makes the best soaps ever. I'm sure yours are great, as well. I'm eager to check out more of yalls content. This is only the second video I've seen
Thank you so much and welcome! 🙏🥰
Very sweet. We love this place we call home! We are lucky to be here. And oh that’s really neat!

Thanks for the feedback!
Love the Stones!!! They are Beautiful!!!!
Love you gals and your videos! 🙏🏼💕Especially enjoyed the close up of the little creek on this 113 degree day!
Wow! 113 degrees is hot! We are lucky to have a little creek to cool off in!
I love your music and your sweet family and seeing what you are up to!
You girls are very interesting and very impressive. You were raised very well and are blessed with old souls with the true love of the blessings of nature as well as the wonderful ways of days past. God bless you
all.
Thank you!
I could listen to that creek all day. You could probably record it and sell it as a sleep aid. So beautiful!
You ladies have SO much talent! Love your families videos!! thank you so much for sharing
Thank you for watching and sharing! I am familiar with that flint, it’s really pretty and people make things out of it all the time! 🤠
I love how close you two are to your family. Please hang on to that. You are lovely and talented young ladies.
Thank you!
Loved the video Corie and yes would love to see you do the crochet pattern. I loved the video where your Granny showed you how to make the diamonds also maybe show how you do that pattern as well. Much love and many blessings to you and the family. Stay safe.
More crochet! We can do that! Thank you!
Thanks Team, appreciated this. Nice picking, "Battle of NO"? Top finishes on the stone and rock work - that is class.
I found your channel because of my interest music, but also because of your life style. Also, my genealogy shows that many generations lived in your area. Your knowledge of plants, appreciation for your pristine, clear water creek. Your mama knows her way around the kitchen. . . Keep sharing your life style and music . .love it!
That was really romantic when you were talking about all the hands that have opened the mail box door. Thanks
Love all you share!
Light and joy! Thank you both.
Amazing 💕💕💕 thank you for sharing a part of your everyday lives 💕💕💕🙏🏻
Absolutely! ❤️
The hens are talking to you! They are beautiful feathered ladies and they’re happy to give you their eggs. ❤
I am watching this while crocheting presents for my nieces and nephews.
Yes love to crochet! Any content on that is very interesting!
Ouch! The bees love the clover :) and that sounds like so much fun! Thank you friend so much for you kind words and support! Means a lot to us!
I love those piggy banks, sure wish I could buy one ,,,love your videos, I was born in Winston Salam.🇨🇦
I’m always the same way with the 4 leaf clovers. As a kid, I made my 4 siblings so mad at me because I could find them one right after the other. Thanks for the memories!
I'm impressed by your knowledge and the number of books you have on your shelf. Thank you.
That would be fun! We should do a video like that, good idea!! And oh man that’s really neat. I like that old sound. In fact I just bought a cassette player to play my tapes! Thank you for watching!
@@thepressleygirls Forreals! That's awesome, I love cassettes so so much, they've got it too! I put my music out on cassettes that I hand dub & make the j-cards for. It's really fun and pretty easy! Thank y'all!
Love your videos stay who you are the world needs more people like you. I
Nice hens! My post office in Kentucky has box doors with glass. They are about 100 years old.
I loved your "post office box". We never lived in town, but have many good memories of going into the old post office in Milan, Ohio to buy stamps and wondering what it would be like to get mail in those beautiful old boxes on the wall. Thank you for sharing. Love all of your family's content. May God Bless you all.
Loved the old post office box. I remember those when I was a little girl in a small town. Now a boutique shop. I also love old things of beauty with history. Thank you so much.💕
Thanks for watching, old things are the best!
My wife and I just found your channel (and your mama's). I'm pleased to hear about a Seabee! I myself am one (BU2) and all of our babies but one was born in Sevierville, TN. Appalachia is our home and I'm counting down the days until my contract with the Navy is up to see those Blue Ridge mountains again. I'm stationed in Mississippi right now. Keep it up and tell your mama thanks for all those recipe videos! My wife loves them!
Beautiful gem rock, bird of Paradise, gotta love a Brainy girl too. 😉
Just found ya'll..love your content and your spirit..ty..xoxo 🥰🖐👍✌🤟🤪

More of the same is good. I enjoy watching anything y'all come up with. That post office box thing you have is really cool.
