@@frickanoodles1945 That's probably beacause you are applying too much force. Also don't focus too much on catching the pen before you manage to make it turn around your thumb it helped me get it. Keep trying and you will get it gl

I'm going for being a class ninja, so I'm learning pen tricks, for about 5 days now, and I have some tips... 1.The thumbaround -Learn it first... -keep your fingers as loose as possible -At first just focus on keeping your thumb still, your pen will fall out about 10000 times, but it's ok, learn to keep your thumb still, cause if you don't, the trick will be much harder, after it will turn into muscle memory and everything will be easier -After learning to keep your thumb still, just try and try, it took me about 5 hours in total to master it and get it smooth... (its just muscle memory now) 2. The Sonic -its harder than the thumbaround... -Learn the flick as good as possible firstly... -KEEP YOUR FINGER LOOSE -Practice, practice, practice (CONCENTRATE ON WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING) -It will take you about 6 dedicated hours (not in a row) in total, to master this trick -I haven't mastered it yet, but I'm getting a good hang of it and a solid 80% success 3. Over the top -Haven't tried it yet... xD (I Will edit this when I learn it) 4. Extras -Your pen will fly around and fall down REALLY REALLY often, live with it, accept it, and later you'll be a finger ninja -Work on them in bed, close your eyes, and let the motion take over, when you learn to do them without watching, you have mastered the tricks... -WATCH DIFFERENT TUTORIALS!!!! It helped me a lot, just, be interested, and you'll find the way!😀
the thumb around is so hard for me bc when i used to just mess around with pencils id always pull my thumb back out of the way and use my middle and index fingers.
Starting to practice from today. Day 1 : So hard. 💩 ........ ... Day 6: Now i Am a master at thumb roll. Going for the next two. Starting today. I am practicing in my free time.. 😁😁😁
I struggled the first like 100 attempts but after like 20 minutes I was able to perform it and I’m getting more consistent at it. It’s definitely not that tricky once you practice it enough. It’s mainly muscle memory, knowing which way to position your fingers. I’ve only been able to perform the sonic. I’ll attempt the other ones once I get better at the sonic
same! I struggled so much during the first hour but then you get the hang of it, I still somewhat mess up the sonic at times but with more practice it’ll be perfect
Same, I got the thumb around done in 19 minutes or so, the easiest one to do out of all three (in my opinion). Sonic seems hard but I'm gonna try it now.
To those people who's having problem with thumb around my only advice is to be sure to angle your fingers and hand right and try to familiarize your fingers by moving the pen with your other hand like showing a demonstration on how it would work. It'll take a long time and patience, like for me I learned the thumb around for 1 week with just messing around and having my hand and fingers at the wrong angle and I basically did a thumb around but upwards XD.
For me it also helped to do the second part first. Try balancing your pen on your thumb with tip to the left first, then drop it and catch it. Now you can add the rotation with you middle finger before and then you have it.
I am sixty years old. I can do the first one. 🤣 thank you. I have watched so many different videos from other people, but I could not learn from them. Your video is so easy to follow. 🤗 I will practice step 2, 3, 4, etc.
Tips For right handed person :1.first you have to find a position to spin the pen (I chose near the head of the pen area ) 2 . then u have to properly spin the pen with the help of middle and thumb fingers ( from your perspective the should spin like it's spinning in horizontal circular motion and the thumb should be above the middle finger like in video ) 3.then catching it with the index finger will do the trick for you (And it's the hardest part ) It required 1hour to get the grasp of the trick and it's for thumbaround and its from my perspective so feel free to deny it.
I am still learning this and it's certainly a work in practice but I did realise that with the pen over thumb trick, it helped me massively to not move your thumb. Also it helped to move your index further back as much as you can. Try doing the action without the pen and holding your thumb so you learn not to move it, goodluck :)
This, for the people who are wondering.. usually works with a bit of a longer and sized pen that fits you. Now this also took me a good 2 days to get the spin and catch down constantly but I got my first good spin and catch within 15 mins of trying it. So don’t get your hopes up when you spin it the first time. 😂 Oh and also it spins over the finger your using to stop too ;(
for the first step i think it's very frustrating but when you learn to spin the pen/pencil even if it falls it's such a proud moment, then after a lot of practice boom you are officially the pen master.
I’ve been in the first one for 2 hours and didn’t notice….my mom told me to do something productive….I went from fixing my handwriting to pen twisting for 2 hours 👍🏼 Also I got the first one….that was exiting 😀 Edit: ok when you actually get to do it and you get kinda good at it you can’t stop….it feels cool 💀
It took me exactly 40 minutes to do the first trick now I’m quiet good at it just you have to practice very hard for a long time and actually at first the pen kept flying around and I dropped it a lot of times but then I realized I wasn’t using my mind so when you learn exactly how to do it and how spin the pen and which way exactly then you will do it it’s all about knowing the technic and keep practicing and most important you have to be patient you won’t be able to do it from the first or second try just keep trying.
Just a little tip that really helped me: learn the triangle pen spin first and it really helps get the hang of things but it’s different for everyone so uh yeah😅😂

-Learn it first...
-keep your fingers as loose as possible
-At first just focus on keeping your thumb still, your pen will fall out about 10000 times, but it's ok, learn to keep
your thumb still, cause if you don't, the trick will be much harder, after it will turn into muscle memory and everything will be easier
-After learning to keep your thumb still, just try and try, it took me about 5 hours in total to master it and get it smooth... (its just muscle memory now)
2. The Sonic
-its harder than the thumbaround...
-Learn the flick as good as possible firstly...
-KEEP YOUR FINGER LOOSE
-Practice, practice, practice (CONCENTRATE ON WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING)
-It will take you about 6 dedicated hours (not in a row) in total, to master this trick
-I haven't mastered it yet, but I'm getting a good hang of it and a solid 80% success
3. Over the top
-Haven't tried it yet... xD
(I Will edit this when I learn it)
4. Extras
-Your pen will fly around and fall down REALLY REALLY often, live with it, accept it, and later you'll be a finger ninja
-Work on them in bed, close your eyes, and let the motion take over, when you learn to do them without watching, you have mastered the tricks...
-WATCH DIFFERENT TUTORIALS!!!! It helped me a lot, just, be interested, and you'll find the way!😀
Now learn to do the reverse thumbaroud and combine it with the normal thumbaroud and then you can do it infinitely that's a cool trick
@@a1d3nedits How tf do you do the reverse one?
@@tgfan4life Search tutos for the reverse thumbaround
thank you!! this was really useful ^^
the thumb around is so hard for me bc when i used to just mess around with pencils id always pull my thumb back out of the way and use my middle and index fingers.
I love the fact that i was focused with this guy more than i do in any class at school
Real
😂😂frr
Me: does thumbaround first try wow! This is so easy! Proceeds to fail 10000 times in a row after that
i did the exact same thing
Same fucking thing happened to me. I did it on the 1st try and its been 2 days..I cant do it XD tf
Feel that. Don't underestimate a big problem
@@krish_wilds7996 I've been trying for over two days

I finally know how to do thumb around with about a 75% success rate! I practiced for 5 mins a day for a month. Now I can show off to my friends!!
Starting to practice from today.
Day 1 : So hard. 💩

Day 6: Now i Am a master at thumb roll.

@@soap1618 nice sorry for late reply tho
My brain: cool lets do this!!
Me: yeah I think I should try🤔
My hand:😌😮😲
@@VendettaCe no seriously it is I hope my mom doesn't think I'm suspicious
Stop flexing.
@@pratikgaikwad7472 bro what? How is saying I struggled 100 times a flex?
After many tries I finally know how to throw pencil in random directions with style.
Howw
Now I know what I’ll be doing in 2021. Thank you, Lucas, I always wanted to be cool.
He is very versatile, such a talented person
Search Mike Shake in YT. A impressive guy
To those people who's having problem with thumb around my only advice is to be sure to angle your fingers and hand right and try to familiarize your fingers by moving the pen with your other hand like showing a demonstration on how it would work. It'll take a long time and patience, like for me I learned the thumb around for 1 week with just messing around and having my hand and fingers at the wrong angle and I basically did a thumb around but upwards XD.
this helps a lot actually thank you!
Yeah the thumb around is the easiest one here you just need correct hand posture and find the balance the others are so hard
Its easy when you understand the tips i started learning it yesterday and got to do it now
Oh damn! This actually helped out a LOT, thanks man.
Tips For right handed person :1.first you have to find a position to spin the pen (I chose near the head of the pen area )
2 . then u have to properly spin the pen with the help of middle and thumb fingers ( from your perspective the should spin like it's spinning in horizontal circular motion and the thumb should be above the middle finger like in video )
3.then catching it with the index finger will do the trick for you (And it's the hardest part )
It required 1hour to get the grasp of the trick and it's for thumbaround and its from my perspective so feel free to deny it.
Bro you are a Superhuman having unlimited skills ....
And that motivates me to do things which I was just imagining !! 👍
wife: "why are you so good at this?"
me: heh ask RUclips why 😎

I am still learning this and it's certainly a work in practice but I did realise that with the pen over thumb trick, it helped me massively to not move your thumb. Also it helped to move your index further back as much as you can. Try doing the action without the pen and holding your thumb so you learn not to move it, goodluck :)
Tip: learn first one first, and then learn second one, and learn the third one :)
LMAOOOO
no shit ;-;
thanks, this was *very* useful.
@@nobody1270 i hope you were being sarcastic-
@@-sorrymasendeshita-3039 idk, figure it out
Very thanks. Cauz of this video, I made a world record by dropping the pen more than a million times.
This, for the people who are wondering.. usually works with a bit of a longer and sized pen that fits you. Now this also took me a good 2 days to get the spin and catch down constantly but I got my first good spin and catch within 15 mins of trying it. So don’t get your hopes up when you spin it the first time. 😂 Oh and also it spins over the finger your using to stop too ;(
I did the thumb around once n it never happened again🙃
This helps so much! I now got the basics down and I am going to keep practicing.
I’m starting to get the first one. It’s so difficult at first but you get it after some time. I feel like it’s about muscle memory.
How do you get your index finger to catch it properly?
I can't make my thumb catch the pen and give to index😢
Nice video, btw the 3rd trick is called "Neosonic"
Yep you’re right
for the first step i think it's very frustrating but when you learn to spin the pen/pencil even if it falls it's such a proud moment, then after a lot of practice boom you are officially the pen master.
This tricks are so amazing ♥ thank you so much ❤️🖤
This guys a legend, I’ve been wanting to learn some of these for months and after 2 minutes and 5 tries i got it.
It was a one off but i still got it
I’ve been in the first one for 2 hours and didn’t notice….my mom told me to do something productive….I went from fixing my handwriting to pen twisting for 2 hours 👍🏼
Also I got the first one….that was exiting 😀
Edit: ok when you actually get to do it and you get kinda good at it you can’t stop….it feels cool 💀
I know how u feel i got it like in like 5-10 minutes and i can’t stop anymore

"In 5 minutes"
My shakey af hands: add an hour to that
I literally cannot believe that I work for these moves regularly around 30-40 minutes everyday but not for my thermodynamic classes

Lol bekar dhum tana na na dhum tana na na dhum tana na na AYEEEEEEEEEEEEE JHALAR
Dude this is sick I got the last one in about 25 minutes (I have 3 unfinished papers due soon)
I learnt the 3rd one successfully 😁
Probably the easiest one 😅

Just a little tip that really helped me: learn the triangle pen spin first and it really helps get the hang of things but it’s different for everyone so uh yeah😅😂
