I am really surprised that you both disliked The Ghost Next Door. It's actually very popular with the fandom. I think, despite the obvious idea, people liked how crazy Hannah was and it had a sweet ending. As for Monster Blood IV, I only read it when I found it in a second hand store a few years back and I was just annoyed, considering it wasn't even about Monster Blood, just some halfway developed army project that was activated by water. Also, no matter what you think about Evan, he did not deserve to be beaten up by four Conans who were all four times more aggressive than one normal Conan. Also, FINALLY, I've found someone who actually acknowledges how good Curse Of Camp Cold Lake was. Despite Sarah being annoying, she's also pretty sympathetic with her awkwardness (especially if you're shy like her) and Della was probably one of the more fun ghosts. She's not just evil or creepy, she's joking around half the time. Like there's that scene when Sarah's talking to Richard. Della's just making faces and mouthing his words and giggling the whole time, just like any kid. I think that Della's presence wasn't quite as frequent as Sarah thought. There were a couple of times Sarah thought she heard Della. I think she imagined it then, and maybe even during the swim race (definitely when she thought Liz was Della, not sure about with Jan). But when she actually saw Della, that's when she was real.

I think the Haunted Mask, Night of the Living Dummy, Monster Blood, Say Cheese and Die, and One Day at Horrorland as a group are the most iconic. They are the first ones I think of when I hear someone say 'Goosebumps' too. Even with the TV series, I think the Haunted Mask comes to my mind first. Something about some of those covers makes them stick in my head since 2nd/3rd grade when they came out.

Absolutely. I think the popularity of the TV show episodes based on those particular books also helped make the imagery of those books stand out over time.
Monster blood IV in my opinion is not that bad, I hated Let’s get invisible more. Monster blood III was also worst than IV. And finally, camp cold lake and beast from the east are finally appreciated.

I live in Brazil and unfortunately only 25 books from the classic series have been released here. I still dream of reading the mutant's attack and the curse of camp cold lake

I wasn’t a fan of the ghost next door either. I didn’t like the logic of the ghosts and the shadow thing at the end.
