- Cynthia Wambui Otieno knows what it means to sacrifice everything for the man you love.
When her husband Donald was detained in America and later deported, she stuck with him though their love was barely new.
In detention, she wrote him encouragement letters everyday and upon deportation, it took her only six months to come home to the love of her life.
Together, they have been married for 12 years.

Well,not all sacrifice stories end well.Mine was the worst sacrifice I ever made which pulled me backwards and now I’m stagnant .I left Bahrain in 2020 to go start a life with my ex hubby who had absolutely nothing. I remember I had to furnish his house cause it looked pathetic.I provided food for him and guess what guys, he stole my everything and conned me 207k. I’m back to Bahrain square one.

Marriage is not purpose; it's a journey with someone who will help you achieve your purpose. This is so apt, and l must say that Cynthia is so hilarious. Again, you should be convinced about your decisions on who to be with; do not be coarced into doing that. Marriage is intentionality that also comes with hard work. Thank you Lynn for bringing Donald and Cynthia on the show.
When things workout it’s beautiful, however the reverse hurts like nothing else.
My husband also told me “I want a wife, not a girlfriend”!
I left everything behind and moved across continents for my husband, and what did he do? He cheated on me. He denies what a blind man can see. I am broken! But it won’t be long before I am on my feet again!!
In my struggle I unfortunately went far from God. I am no longer an active Christian!
The lesson I’ll take from this video is to work on my relationship with my Creator!
You do that,and may GOD guide you through it, it's not about falling, it's more about getting up,and continuing your journey,after falling, JESUS fell with the cross,many times,but he got up,each time and continued on his way.
Praise God for your reality your honesty and your testimonial. May the Lord restore you fully. In Jesus name.

I got goose bumps hearing that part of how that woman told Cynthia her story like literally, I have been watching Lynn but Jehovah is speaking to me in this story on how to navigate my world in the diaspora, I always find comfort in the story of the Eagle and how much pain it goes through to reinvent themselves, we have to break to be built anew
I love pastor Cynthia. When I first heard her story it was like God was telling me I'll be ok. She reminds me so much of myself. I'm 33 years and want to get married and have kids. I've made a decision not to enter into any casual relationships. Her story is uplifting. I pray that one day I'll meet her.

What i learned in life, what we go through either bad days or good days it's a gift from God. We need to accept it even it's hurtful...We get strength from disappointing and we learn a lot...life journey is not easier, only if you handle your soul to God and you will achieve your goals. To be single for while is better than toxic relationship. God will give you the right one at the right time. God time is the best
