I run the UK honda Dax group on Facebook, own a clone of the original and a monkey 125, great fun, get lots of attention, nobody gets them unless you have a ride of one, your reaction was perfect what sums up the fun feeling.
So cool ! I restore the original CT-70's here in the US and love them. They are really popular here, especially with people my age (54) and older as we grew up riding them and the Z50 as kids. I have one highly modified with a ZS190 5-speed motor and it goes 86mph !
Don't live with regret as we only live once! I've a Monkey and a Dax and they're such a giggle to ride. The essence of why we began riding in the first place. Test ride either and you'll be smiling long after the ride ends :)
Back in 2015 I bought one, albeit it was the Chinese version, Skyteam, also 125cc, (4 speed, with manual clutch) I still have it, and in town it's a charm, weaving in and out of traffic, can park it just about anywhere, and I believe I'm about the one and only here in The Hague, Holland. Back in the late 70ties, I saw more of them, especially in the South of France. In the early 80ties I owned one too for 2 years, that was a genuine Honda (4 speed, no manual clutch). In 2016 we owned a camper and the Skyteam went with us, made a nice 65m trip around the Gorge of the Ardeche in France, riding with a pillion was possible -just-. I did take a good look at this new Dax, certainly, but this Skyteam has 2 advantages, compared with this new Dax, it has a larger fuel tank, 5.5l, compared with 3.8l of the new Dax, AND it weighs in with some 30kg's LESS than the new Dax, 106kg's versus 75kg's, and for a small bike with not really much hp, that counts! I did change the front brake caliper, like the one fitted on the new Dax.
im afraid owning a little honda can become a issue, i started with the new ct125 this year. brought a grom. And now picked up a new dax to add to the collection.
I like it when you end the video on the couch or under the viaduct. First visual impressions, the only thing i didn't like was the plain slidey seat, the custom seats look much nicer.
My first motorcycle was a 1975 ST70, I paid £100 for it in the summer of 1977, I sold it in March 1978 for £65 as a trade in on a brand new Honda TL125S.
That looks fun but I would defo feel unsafe and dangerous going on the motorway on a 125 even with a full A licence. My 125 struggles to even get to 65mph on B roads

The Dax looks a really fun bike.

Since I own the Dax 125 , I almost never take one off my other motorcycles anymore...
Great little machine!
I am purchasing a 2025 Dax in the US next week Last time I bought a new Dax was in 1989 in Germany. I see the UK roads are of poor quality.
Love seeing the 125 Dax on your channel ,it would be good to see more 125 on your channel because no-one else seems to do reviews on 👍
Had my Dax since Jan 2023 and it’s so much fun as you found out (the Harley’s in the garage have to wait their turn)!
I dig how much fun you had riding Dax I don't think I have heard you laugh so much
Keep this smile of yours :) Your videos are great, thank you.
The giggles of pure joy at 35mph 🥲 Its like experiencing the joy of riding for the first time all over again
Exactly!
pure fun you cant help but smile all the while xxx its like a friendly pet xxx
It's just such a lovely and cute minibike. You can have really fun with an affordable price.I even want to buy one.

Anything for a laugh... eh?
Good to see you bringing even more variety to your channel 👍.
No one can be happier than you test riding.
I was expecting you to stop at Mint also.
Hopefully sunshine will quit hiding from you D.
Fun little bike. Hard to believe my first Honda intercepter in 1984 was cheaper than the Dax.
Minute 0:16
I really like your laugh and accent.😌
I love the bottle opener heel plate on the Thailand Dax
great as ever hope ur keeping well rake carex
Great for riding around south western France !

You need a Monkey in your life too 🐵

Look forward to mini me and the mint catch up.
Great fun video, thanks 😊

My clutch plates cost nearly that 😳
Hi! Great choice :) The best colour off course haha :)
How much is the Honda Dax brand new in the UK?
Are there different variations/models?
How cool would that be to build a wee custom from ...
Do you know if they’re going to come out with a four speed clutch model of the DAX?
My friends had Honda TRail 70's I much preferred my Yamaha 80
I set my eys on dax, problem is another 2 bikes in garage out of which one is monkey 😅
I have room for one of these in the cave 👍
I absolutely love my Dax except for the seat. Hate the seat, it’s hard as a rock and hurts me. Wish they would have used the Monkey foam.
I got interested in 125s but when i saw they cost the same as a full sized Ninja from 2011 I gave up.
beautfuil bike
Wwwoooo😮
Sweeeeeet😍😍😍😍…and the dax too☺️
Dax is slang for pants in Australia. Dont ask why, I dont know.
Thought it was dags?
Me watching from 🇹🇭 Thailand 😂
now put it on a stand and clean it %100 ✔
That looks fun but I would defo feel unsafe and dangerous going on the motorway on a 125 even with a full A licence. My 125 struggles to even get to 65mph on B roads
I ride for the joy of riding, not for speed
Cool little bike, just like when I was a kid…back before electric light 😂. Fun. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
That bike looks like trash 😂😂😂😅 people will ride a broom 🧹 If it had a motor on it😂
You can judge when you ride that piece of garbage. But you probably don't have enough money to buy it, so it's probably just plain envy!🤣🤣🤣
