I beg to differ. You can tell by the makes and models of cars and looking at buildings and structures that the video is likely to have been taken in the 1970s-80s. Nairobi skyline and transportation was way advanced in 1999.😢😮
The last Nyayo DAF Buses then operated by National Youth Services NYS was was in service in 1995 . Nissan caravan SD 23 minibus first appearance was 1987 in Kenya. Suzuki jeeps first year of service was 1981 that Toyota Corolla model start appearing in the year 1986. Therefore that video was made in late eighties up to early 90s but not at the end of the end of last century. The Morris Minor vintage car made between 1946 up to 1971 is an Overkill that brings a lot of confusion.
This must be 1989 not 1999. Nyayo Bus service I have seen in the video collapsed in 1992. And times tower was the tallest building then. Didn’t see it in the video behind KICC. Lastly the cars are synonymous with the 80s not 90s
cant be 1999. you can look up in Kimathi street there is no sight of the Nation Building. I think it was opened in 1992 while its construction started in 1989. So this could be anytime before 1989. Great to observe the city is ever busy
1989 you mean? Coz the cars and their registration plates suggest late 80s/early 90s. 1999 we had a lot Toyota AE 100 models on the roads which are glaringly missing in the video...🤔
