I have all of the 1/144 and 1/72 Bandai SW ships in my backlog. I'm really looking forward to them, and really looking forward to having the time to work on them.

I've built a few of the 1/72 scale Bandai Star Wars kits. For the TIE Fighters you can hand paint those and get excellent results I've done that with the Force Awakens First Order TIE Fighter and the Special Forces TIE and they look beautiful. I recently did the Imperial TIE Interceptor and painted it in PRU Blue/Grey and with a black Tamiya panel line wash darkened the paint to a near screen accurate color. For the TIE Pilots they actually are pretty easy to paint as you only need two shades of black for the flight suit I used Stynelrez black primer along with the chest box and hoses and for the helmet armor gloves and boots I used Vallejo Black Grey paint.

Good stuff! Thanks for sharing those tips.
The TIE Fighter kits from Bandai are some of my favorites! They are just a win on so many levels of modeling. You may like to see some of my other TIE Fighter and Star Wars content:

@@JonBius You would probably get a kick out of my TIE interceptor Build video then. I even incorporated a scatch built star field for the viewport behind the pilots seat.
