brilliant video!! the one thing that i wish was that UES did their flannels in a longer cut for guys over 6'3. being as big as i am i can wear the UES ultra heavyweight because it has more length but the normal ones unfortunately make me look like a dandy warhol in an undersized tshirt and its unbecoming someone my age 😅
Congrats on the baby! You are spot on about certain colors not looking good until you see it in a natural light, especially slightly more out there colors. Wouldn’t think to get a purple shirt but this one looks great! It grew on me as the video was playing. Also love the look of UES flannels, the pocket design and colorways strike a perfect medium between westerny/outdoorsy/vintagy without going too far in either direction. Just wish they made them slightly taller for me😅
I grabbed this UES flannel from a store called Hardcore in Hong Kong after seeing it on your channel. A great looking shirt with a nice feel to it. Had never had any UES gear before having usually gone for Ironheart, Flat Head, Studio D'Artisan etc but am now the proud owner of 4 UES Heavy Flannels and absolutely love them. I've told my partner that it's your fault😂 Really enjoying your channel. Good luck with it and look forward to seeing more in the future.
Thanks for all your videos but I’ve got a question for you. How would you say the sizing compares to Iron Heart? Both Japanese companies I was curious. I’m 5’10” 215lbs. and wear an XXL in Iron Heart flannels. Thanks for the videos, keep em coming!
Love the UES shirts, and the build, but I just can't get behind their patterns! And I've tried them on in person. Recently picked up a FreeNote Wells Plaid in rust on sale and it is GORGEOUS.
The fit really is spot on for my small frame. Don't think I've ever found an off the rack LS shirt with sleeves that fit me. Still holding out for their Tricotine release which they should be doing any day now.

Heyyyy, Iron Shop! I actually live like 20 minutes away from them lmao. They hemmed some of my Naked & Famous jeans recently. Haven't been to their main store, but I like that they have a tiny little shop in NOLA.
Hey Cameron, I recently acquired their 14,5oz indigo flannel, which I believe you also own. I haven't been able to quite grasp whether this is a raw indigo shirt or not - I know that it fades, but I'm not sure whether I should be careful with the washes/expect indigo bleed as one would for raw denim. Has this been your experience? Thanks!
About a month ago I got myself the UES heavy indigo flannel but having seen this video I fell in love with the purple/orange pattern. Just received it today, wow, what a shirt! Fit is slightly slimmer than the indigo heavy flannel but I knew that upfront. The fit is even better actually.
Hey Cameron, love that UES flannel. However, I’m a bit slimmer and taller than you and I really prefer the added sleeve length of IH flannels so I can maintain a slim fit and still have long enough sleeves. Can you suggest any other brands that you know of that also have proportionally longer sleeves like the Ironheart shirts do? Cheers!
Hey Cameron, love your videos! Thanks for posting and sharing. I took the plunge after watching and bought my first UES flannel. It looks and feels beautiful, unfortunately it's too small. I ordered a Size 3 and definitely would be a Size 4. The 3 is just a bit too snug for my liking. Would you know of any forums (Grail etc.) that are more focused on the Heritage style? Looking to offload it and purchase another. Appreciate any suggestions. Best regards, David
Hey David, Glad you got one. Frustrating it didn't fit. I would try the Iron Heart forum. They have a good Buy/Sell section. Also another site is Marrkt, though they may only be UK. Not sure where you are located. Lastly, and probably your best bet is 'rawdenim' on reddit. r/rawdenim/ they have a daily buy/sell/trade thread. Good luck!

You should get an email receipt from them "Confirmation of your order payment" all my orders had that come through eventually. From memory it was an od buying experience due to language but it worked.
Got my first Japanese flannel from Iron Shop for Christmas. Iron Heart Slubby Heavy Flannel. I'm 6 for 180 pounds, and an xxl fits perfectly. Strange how 2 people of the same height and near weight need two very different sizes.
I love my UES flannels, But. Having having seen and felt my sons IH UHF, i simply must get one myself.
For the Tricotine. We have one sz 4 left and we’ll have a grip in Nov.

I have their Exorcist flannel and I dunno why but their stuff seems kinda dingy.
