When will your UK veggie prep Kits be back please? Desperate for one. I'm in gastrointestinal failure and tube fed and can only eat soups so they drain back out of my stomach stoma bag. So will be easier for my soup maker xx

Part of the reason I love Barry aside from him being a nice guy with an extra nice family, pugs included is that I can watch and think how smart I am. Glad he hasn't burnt any of the houses down yet.

Omg I have TWO Ember mugs. They are brilliant. They are not just mug warmers. They work by (not a scientist) a heat exchanging gel inside the mug. The hotter the liquid/tea/coffee, the longer it will keep the contents at your chosen temperature. FANTASTIC MAGIC!

i have that mug and it works well and can hold the charge BUT it holds a lot less liquid than a normal mug so you would probably finish your drink before it has time to get cold anyway :/
@@richardsnape1630 Certainly not worth the price, especially with the very real possibility of it becoming and expensive normal mug in a few years.
4 years seems very optimistic.
I got the Ember mug for Christmas and it's great! Set it to a reasonable hot tempurature (not scalding like Barry did in the video) and enjoy even temperature drinks. It's honestly really nice to take a sip of coffee after 20 minutes or so and have it be just as warm as it was when you sat it down.
The skin is from the milk, usually I get that when I leave my mug still for too long. Some people love that, but I hate it so much! Great video as always, Barry! All my best wishes for you and your family for 2021 :)

That powered peeler would be FANTASTIC for people that don’t have the hand strength to have the pressure on their peeler!
That round peeler is amazing for people with arthritis (me, I'm one of those people) or folks with unsteady hands. All of the extra surface area gives a nice, steady grip. Good for the littles who want to help in the kitchen too (with supervision and maybe a safety glove)!

There's some really cool coasters that you can use with different mugs. It's kinda like a small hotplate. Some even allow different temperature settings or auto shut off when you lift the mug off so that's really cool when you have kids or pets around.
I like those more, because than you're not limited to a single mug and you can just put the mug in the dishwasher.
Enjoying the videos! (would also like to recommend the installation of a chunky floating shelf in a nighter neutral wood like to the left of your window - would help control the chaos... and maybe some valances and a solid scroll window shade)

Your 1st peeler is EXACTLY like my leg shaver, works the same way by turning the blades but mine was pink. Good grief I never thought of peeling my veggies with it. Lol
Love yonanas machine bought one for my mum and sister they are in many op shops in NZ and such great little machines.
Try some yoghurt in the machine with the frozen fruit, it turn the yoghurt into a delicious frozen texture :)

When you were talking about the frozen sorbet maker and mentioned how cold the sorbet was, it reminded me of that scene from The Princess Diaries where she takes a big bite of some green sorbet and gets brainfreeze. Maybe you could try to recreate that in the follow-up video, if there is one!

I was told the skin on hot milk is the milk proteins. As the water evaporates at the surface, the protein separates out and cling together.
The chocolate grater doesn't look sturdy and seems to crackle when used. Is it made for one-time-use?

Omg I was so interested in that Ember mug! I've weaned myself down to only 1 cup of coffee a day and I like to sip on that cup for up to an hour sometimes. This would have been perfect for keeping my coffee at the optimal temperature. But alas, as it's £115 and not available for shipping to my address anyway, guess I'll just do without lol. VERY cool device though!
Goodness Gracious that "Flake Maker" Was a way that they use to sell a type of parmesan cheese! It was a block of cheese that came in it so you could have "fresh" shredded parm! They suddenly vanished, and it seems that where the old cases went!

What’s the difference between that Dole machine vs food processor? I make my frozen fruit soft serve with the food processor and seems to create the same result.

I want one of those coffee mugs lol. I am forever getting my coffee waiting for it to cool to the perfect temp and then try to drink it up. But of course I end up having to microwave it and once again. Too hot wait wait. Sip sip sip and rinse repeat all day it seems lol.

Could be wrong, but I have a feeling you tried that Dole frozen fruit doohickey some years ago, or a very similar machine... Waaaay back, in the house before last, before you expanded the kitchen? I feel I've seen something like it before, and I also feel that you were at the wheel.
The Joseph Joseph Rotary Peeler is great, I have a peeler with three attachments that can be selected by turning them, the knives are very sharp and unprotected and I have cut myself badly with it several times while washing up because I am simply clumsy. Unfortunately, the Rotary Peeler is no longer available in Germany.

I love my Ember mug. I work at Starbucks and I got a major discount on it. I found it burnt my milk a bit but I figured it out.

They sell the Ember at Starbucks, at least they do in the States. I love mine, it's perfect to keep on my desk at work.
To cut a bagel, place it on a side plate then place another side plate upside down on top of the bagel. Hold the top place in place with the palm of your hand then slice through in between the plates

At 62.5 degrees, you cooked the milk in your coffee, something to consider if you like lattes. They do make little mug hot plates, without the smart app & mine works fine. Mines a Mr Coffee from Walmart.
With the yonanas! Freeze chopped up bananas and mix in with the fruit, but the secret trick is to freeze some Greek yoghurt in an ice tray and mix in with the fruit and bananas. You need to let it thaw a little while before you run it through!
My mum would love that mug. She makes a coffee, thinks ‘f it I’ll go in the bath and it should be alright when I get out’, she gets out and it’s freezing 😂
At the school I work at we use two of the yonanna machines to make fundraiser treats at lunch a few times a year usually, not this year though :(
