For your pizza parlor.. with people worried about covid.. have a window where they can just walk up and buy a slice.. give them another option than having to go inside. or use it as a pickup window.
My mother had mild tremors and difficulty bringing food from the plate to her mouth, until she was told about weighted utensils. They helped her for a good while. :)
@@mrbarrylewis If you DO get a standup of Ashens you gotta start your video like his "Doo-doot, doo-doot, do-duh! HELLO!" and then it just cuts to the cardboard cut out.
To be fair, some of these novelty devices could help with motivation to eat and drink, which some people do in fact need for various health-related reasons.
Yeah, "fun" is a valid reason to use things. The egg soldier kit I think is a good one - eggs and toast is a really gentle meal for a tender stomach, but cheery.
I love the idea someone had of getting a cardboard cutout of Stuart. Plus it would have the added bonus of freaking him out next time he comes to do a collaboration at yours
I think the plane one is for helping get your picky child to eat. Remember when you had to do 'in goes the tug boat' or 'in goes the plane' to get a little kid to eat.
Even if you decide against the main business, maybe you could do a pop up doughjo for the christmas market or other market type events? Just to test your waters.
For someone who is always stressed out (in my last year of college!!), always has homework, and never gives myself some person days, it makes me happy to see that you upload! It gives me a chance to just sit down and enjoy ❣️❣️
That silicone placemat is amazing. Not because I have kids, but because I have CATS. My cats tend to scoot the bowl onto the floor and they're not smart enough to pick the placemat UP
The big question with novelty gadgets isn't really "Does it do the job?" (efficient or not), it's "Does the novelty aspect **interfere** with doing the job?". IMHO, anyways. edit @8:45 - Well, like any other blade in your kitchen, your pizza cutters should be sharpened every once in a while. Of course, if it's a plastic one like the motorcycle looks to be, you're pretty much out of luck once it starts to dull...
Honestly, I like novelty things that also work well like the guitar spoons. I have tongs that are mittens and they crack me up to use and are also nice tongs. I could use normal ones, sure, but I could also pretend I'm a giant.
You need to have the egg cup close to that toast cutter because if the toast cutout is in a drawer by itself there is a high likelihood of the cutouts being mistaken for something quite lewd.
Heyah Barry! Give those cheeky kids and your lovely wife a hug from my family to yours! Absolutely fun video today. I enjoyed your sense of humor with the toddler setting, spoon weight, hatchet pizza cutter, all the kitchen gadgets! Thank you for the video as always have a great day!
stirring double cream takes forever! 😁 try an up down technique where you collect air with every whisk and cream will be whipped into shape in minutes 🤓but not into butter please...
For the cardboard cut-out, what about a competition to get one or more of your patreons as a cardboard cut-out? Could redo a tier cut off opt in name draw periodically and have different people who support the show randomly appear on it.
The guitar ice cube mold is definitely going on my wish list. Also if there's a spoon version of Airfork One, it strikes me that it would be a good utensil for feeding babies/toddlers.
the problem with toddlers is, that they learn really quickly, esp. things they shouldn't know. That being said, I suppose the parent would actually struggle to unstuck the plate, while the child would simply wobble it everywhere they want to.
You could use the toast soldier cutter as a cookie cutter and make soldier shaped biscuits. I used an Easter toast stamp as a cookie stamp to make big square gingerbread biscuits earlier this year.
you could get a life-sized cutout of Mrs. B. It's be fun to see the look on her face when she walked into the kitchen for the first time and saw herself standing by the 'fridge!
I have the kong wisk. If you push him to the end he helps mix stuff. If you then give him a twist, he flips onto the outside. Stand the wisk up, he's on the top like the kitchen version of the movie. Add in the plane fork for more movie action. ... and this is why they had to put "not a toy" on the packaging.
I recommend a cardboard cutout of yourself. Not only useful for setting up camera stuff, but also useful when the girls get a little bit older, to greet them with a disapproving expression when they get home later than they were supposed to. ~_^
The only downside to the pizza cutter ax is that dirt gathers in the red part and you can't get it out. I've soaked it and everything, but it's stuck there. Love this pizza cutter, but an upgrade for cleaning is necessary. Than I would give it to all my friends because it is sharp and fun.
For your pizza parlor.. with people worried about covid.. have a window where they can just walk up and buy a slice.. give them another option than having to go inside. or use it as a pickup window.
Barry, you mentioned that the cereal you ate was really sweet. You should try Magic Spoon's cereals. I've run across them several times on RUclips and online. They look amazing and are fairly low sugar, but supposedly very tasty.
Part of the reason that it took you so long to whip the cream is that you were stirring it more than whipping. Back and forth not spinning in a circle will whip it a lot faster.
A Charlie Chaplin cutout would be brilliant. Of course, he was on the smaller side, something like 5'4" or 162.5cm, so it could be tempting to use him as an arm rest. Still, a London native, an icon of both the movies and comedy, I think he'd be a great addition to your gear. Plus, he'd make Mrs. B feel tall. 👍 The soldier kit was my favorite, just for the kitschy décor aspect of it. Because when something's both functional and whimsically decorative, it makes the kitchen a little happier, a little more welcoming, I think.
This is the most random thing. I started a Spotify playlist for my students to listen to in lab. I saw that they have podcasts and one of the ones recommended to me was Barry's. Like what?!? I didn't know he had a podcast? There hasn't been an episode since April 2020, but still. I have a lot of catching up to do.
Please replace Mr. Bean. It was my favorite show on PBS that we had from the BBC when I was a kid. But even better if you could find a cut out of Rowan Atkinson in one of his Black Adder costumes I think it would be an upgrade. And for anyone who hasn't watched Black Adder I highly suggest it.
Dear Barry, I love watching your channel it has me holding my side with the amount of laughing 😂 I do. eep up the good work. By the way I have s couple of these gadgpets that I bout years ago when my children were sm,all

Get a cardboard cutout of yourself from when you first started the channel! That would be hilarious. You could teach your old self stuff :)

get a Gordon Ramsey cut out with him scowling
I use a Danny Devito cutout in my work meetings, definitely recommended!
LOL!
I'm not sure you could see him behind the countertop...
@@itsvideowatcher the life size one is just short of 5ft, plenty tall enough :p

I think the plane one is for helping get your picky child to eat. Remember when you had to do 'in goes the tug boat' or 'in goes the plane' to get a little kid to eat.
I bet that ax pizza cutter could be a pain to clean. I assume stuff could get stuck inside the ax part...
Ewww yes, I did not think of that 😝
A "Mrs B" cutout! So she can be in every video and also enjoy her own company when entering the kitchen. :D
Even if you decide against the main business, maybe you could do a pop up doughjo for the christmas market or other market type events? Just to test your waters.

I think it’s obvious at this point, you need a seal cardboard cutout

Is the weights bar on the spoon removeable or can you add more weights to it.

You need to have the egg cup close to that toast cutter because if the toast cutout is in a drawer by itself there is a high likelihood of the cutouts being mistaken for something quite lewd.
I always whip my cream in a bowl over another bowl filled with ice so that it stays as cold as possible and it make whip go much faster.
Water expands when it freezes and the stick would have changed the volume of the mould. Hence the level raised.
Leather and cookie "flavour" spray, absolutely love it 😂
