- The current combat Community Goal has us shooting pirates. My favourite thing! I am finishing editing a longplay video but I know not everyone likes those. So here is one particularly dramatic one fight from it.

I'd made it shieldless and all engineered hull, that way you can have lots of energy and make it colder.
But that's just me, I am a big fan of shieldless builds.

@@CMDR_CWolfxUK To engineer all the hull reinforcements is a pain in the ass, I think that's why most people just put a shield, but it's worth it. When you see how you are eating bullets and your hull is like, "lol tickles", and have got lots of energy because you just have to manage 2 pips, it's worth it.
@@CMDR_CWolfxUK do not do this. if you do make sure you have module reinforcements along with reinforced modules lol i would never do pve in a shield less anything as missles will slowly eat away at modules giving you a slow death also its the worst death because you could at 75% then rebuy screen
@lucifer8166 a fair point, I would be running Module reinforced and hull reinforced. Also, as I wouldn't have the 4 Shield Boosters I would instead have 4 Point Defence - only Packhounds would be a serious concern... and this is planned for PVE so no issue there.

Well spotted. Yeah, been playing for years but until recently have not leant so heavily into the engineering side of things. Just a few random experiments. You'll see how that changes over the next few weeks. Oh, I just became you 100th sub!

Not yet. This channel is quite new. Due to family and work it's a little tricky to schedule proper stream time. I am quite happy for people to add me in game though. My plan is Weekly Roundup at weekends, Weird Wednesday - you'll see and a combat/build focused video probably Fridays. Still fine tuning.
I might set up a Discord though...

youd be better off with charged enhanced power distributor expesially with pulse lasers my laser build can fire for days
