I'm out looking for trouble, when a Basilisk decides to try interdicting the wrong AX pilot.
See what happens in this epic fight between Goid and a experienced AX pilot, that's making a come back after more than a year off.
One of my roles in the AXI was to 100% a Basilisk, I think that was one of the toughest I ever did. It took me a long time to earn that Role.

I figured it out. Elite dangerous is not screensaver simulator. It's desk chair simulator. It's the only game that works perfectly with VR cuz you don't move. This game is just a series of desk chairs in very serious and exotic locations that frequently change. They say some games are platforming and some games are menus. This one is desk chair with a nice window simulator.
I was thinking why is ED so VR friendly. Here it is. We are in space, its dark. There isn't all the distractions of say a Racing sim. We don't perceive, movement speed the same, it's friendlier, easier on the eyes, where you can sit for hrs and play.
That is a true grit, never quit victory cmdr ! o7

what a time for gaming eh? beats the old sega genesis and the likes. haha idk about you, but now that ive got a nice setup with hosas and vr. i'm hooked back into gaming with these space sims and flying. star citizen has been my go to but ive been debating on checking out this elite dangerous soon.
It goes on sale regularly, Steam, Epic gave it away some time ago, it may come back around. If you going to play VR there is no need for Odyssey, it tanked VR. They quit VR support and and the game has been on a downward spiral ever since. It's a grind in the beginning, I'm not going to do those kind of videos, there is plenty out there already. Obsidian Ant, Down to Earth are a couple.
To think this game started out as wireframes in space.
I didn't have my PIP's right on that 1st heart, ran low on capacitors caused over heat, Basilisk was able to target me better, if you really want to do better, I would have to use heat sinks and silent running once inside 3km. I've 100% a Basilisk before it was tuff. I would have to practice to do it again.
This looks like a tough fight. Haven't tackled a Thargoid myself until now, as it is a completely different fighting style.
