Bicycle Touring | Part 4 | Sierra Cascades Route

In this video we descend out of the mountains near Cle Elum Washington, passing thru Ellensburg and Yakima, before traversing a lengthy stretch of high desert. The route then climbs and eventually descends to the Columbia River Gorge and the Oregon border. Late season snow had not yet melted in the mountains, closing the smaller forest roads used on the ACA route, so we had to deviate from the Sierra Cascades route and ride on Highway 97.

I hate those no shoulder, blind approach climbs. Hope it wasn't too long. @3:52. Thanks for making these videos and especially naming the campgrounds along the way. That helps with research.
