Thanks so much for watching! If you guys are interested in learning more about some of our favorite commuter ebikes, check out the link in the description!🚲
I would leave that to someone who experiences winter cycling and winter bike maintenance on an ongoing basis. I’m 2 years into winter e-biking in the mountains in BC, and my suggestion would be the look at most of the same bikes suggested here, but unless you are able to wash your bike every time it’s used and store it above freezing so that it dries, stick with hydraulic brakes and limit yourself to models with belt drives and internal hub shifting. Maintaining mechanical cables, chain and derailleur in snow/ice/silt/salt is next to impossible. Also, avoid 20” fat tires because no one makes studded tires for them.
Your review of your top e bike picks is like hanging out with a friend. Your honesty and sincerity are such a large part of your technical discussion. Thank you Chris!
You’re very kind Bruce. I think of talking with someone in my store when I make the videos. Sometimes I forget and I get a little out of touch, but my team usually helps keep me grounded. Thanks for your support.
My wife and I both got Nevo 3GT’s a month ago and absolutely love them. The quality is truly excellent and the ride comfort and on/off road ability makes this such a great bike to own. We live in a valley here in the UK near the Lake District and most hills are 10% or greater. So far we’ve only done 10 miles or so in any one ride and only used 10 to 15% battery usage. Incidentally I’m 63 and my wife is 56 and neither of us are super fit but riding these bikes is a real joy and we hope we’ll get many years of happy use from them. Great channel by the way very informative.👍
Thanks man! I'm so excited about biking. I've been sitting and coding for years and finally fixed my back pain. Biking will be a great change of pace to my life and I cannot wait.
I've got 1000 klicks on my second ebike. I'm 64 and disabled, with massive arthritis, so it ain't me, it's the bikes. I've gone cheap - DJ Bikes from Canada - and outside of the fact that no movie stars have torn their clothes off when they saw me, this $1k bike is doing everything I ask of it. It muds, goes offroad, pulls 150lbs (70 kilos) without breaking a sweat, stands out in traffic and keeps us from getting hit. I respect that you sell these, but too many people still get sticker discouragement. Thanks for the video.
I am a 2020 Super Delite owner and first time e-bike owner and love it. Thanks to your channel I was informed well before I went into the shop here to buy. Another great video.
Such an awesome bike! I’m really happy to help you become well informed and I’m hoping you have had a positive experience. I feel blessed to be able to make these videos about these awesome bikes!
Thank you Chris! I’ve watched most of your videos and value what you have to say. I appreciate your reviews. I just finished my first week of commuting to work on my new Gazelle Ultimate T10. I was lucky enough to find one at my local bike shop in Brattleboro, Vt. Trust me when I say that I almost made the four hour trip to NY to purchase one from your store as that was my second option if I couldn’t find one locally.
Congratulations, Chris, on yet another mesmeric video; you truly are becoming a veritable maestro of the " directly to camera " genre. In fact, I was so impressed, I was inspired to pen an ode in your honour. And, without further ado, here it is‼️ You Know It Makes Sense! If you’d like a commuting bike, Then you’d best like the bikes young Chris likes. Because the like of the bikes that young Chris likes Will, more than like, to be the best of bikes. It may not be T.S.Eliot, but, then again, neither am I.
I can always count on you! Thanks for adding a little extra joy to my already very nice Saturday. I hope your weekend is going well. I got my second shot yesterday so I’m one step closer to paying you a visit.
@@Propelbikes I'm delighted to hear you're Covid protected; I'm hoping to get my second jab in the near future. When it's allowable for you to roll up in England, I'll be here to show you the sights‼️ 😜😜😜
Good god, MrKeyboardCommando here too? I occasionally wondered where you went after you stopped commenting on JayEmm On Cars, it's oddly nice to see your kooky self over here and confirms my suspicions: I'm subscribing to this Propel channel it looks.
Great list! These are all the bikes I am envious of! I will definitely be putting one of these on my dream list, although I have thought about selling my car and just getting a personal ebike and using that and transit to get around. We bought a Ferla family cargo bike last year which is a tricycle built there in So Cal. It doesn’t have one of those super nice Bosch motors, but it fits the kids pretty well including my son with special needs!
That’s really awesome to hear that you’re able to get your son out on the Ferla bike! I actually met the founder of the company in New York last year seems like a really nice guy. Enjoy the ride!
Chris: I’m sure that Trek Allant 9.9s would be on the list if you sold the bike. Maybe you were just doing bikes you sell. Always enjoy your videos..... thank you.
Great vid- loved that you brought up the quality aspect of private ownership and long term thinking- im focused on Escooters at the moment but i still follow all types of eco friendly transport and i love your channel -PROPEL is top tier quality and intelligence every time!! Look forward to purchasing from you guys in the future :)
I love gazelle bikes. When i was 8 years old my dad bought me a new 3speed hub gazelle bike. 😲 Wow it was so awesome with deep section aluminum rims that were very strong
Those classic Gazelle Pike to really awesome! It was really impressive to see how many of them are still on the streets of the Netherlands these days. They truly are built to last.
I really enjoy your videos and your low-key presentations. I recently got my first ebike, a Rad Power RadRunner which is a pretty good utility bike for the money. But eventually I also want a more refined and classy bike along the lines of the Gazelle Ultimate C380, or possibly one of the R&M models. Since I'm getting ready to buy a new truck it will have to wait till next year, and hopefully I will be placing an order with Propel.
Thanks so much for writing this Chris! You know a lot of times people tell me oh you can’t be on RUclips you’re not enthusiastic enough. Or this presenter is boring. But I really believe that I shouldn’t be somebody different on RUclips then I’m going to be in person and this is just the way I am in person. It’s really helpful to hear people reinforce that this is OK and perhaps of times even preferred. Cause I watch a good amount of RUclips myself and the people I tend to watch have a similar type of demeanor. Although I Definitely don’t discriminate if it’s quality content. Also respect your choice about the RadRunner, I think that’s a prudent choice, and as I mentioned in the video this is just my list. I wish I could sell service and cover all the bikes, but that’s just not realistic right now. I’ve learned if you want to be great at some thing you gotta focus. Will certainly be happy to assist you if you choose to get a different E Bike in the future. But I hope that you’ll continue to watch until participate in the community in the meanwhile.
@@Propelbikes Oh yeah, I subscribed right after I found your videos. Keep doing it your way as it works much better for informing us and selling quality ebikes, as opposed to some of the overbearing hucksters in other genres all over RUclips.
I'm Dutch and I think it's funny to see an American video about e-bikes. There are beautiful bicycles among them. Trek is an American bicycle manufacturer, right? How do people view that? Look, here in the Netherlands, the choice of e-bikes drives you crazy. There are so many (pretty good) brands. But I'm glad to see that cycling in the US is becoming more and more popular. Also that more and more initiatives are being taken to build good bicycle paths. Okay, it will take a while before it is at Dutch level, but we also started with nothing. And there is much to learn from the Dutch cycling infrastructure. A very interesting RUclips channel is Not Just Bikes. Can I recommend to everyone.
Great video with solid and useful information - well done. Since bikes can be quite expensive, maybe you should do a video about bike leasing some time. My current employer recently teamed up with a „micro mobility“ service provider and now offers bike leasing to employees who have been working for the company for two years or more. Monthly leasing rates are deducted from the payment before taxes, which makes it quite affordable. After three years, you can either buy the bike at a much lower price or switch to a new one, similar to car leasing programs. I‘m not sure what’s available in the US in that regard since I‘m in Germany, but there should be similar services around I guess.
Thanks a bunch Markus! You’re right I should cover this leasing topic. I’ve been meaning to. It’s really unfortunate as there are very few programs if any in the US currently. I know how big of a deal this is in Europe. In speaking with eBike owners in Europe I realized that many of them have leased their bikes and got some help from their employer. I’ve been pushing this topic with any companies that seem to have some influence in the US, so I’m optimistic something will happen I could be a perfect time to put a video out to speak a bit more about it. Thanks for sharing your experience! We all have a lot we can learn from each other.
Chris, great video. Love what you guys are doing. Out of the bikes that you guys have, I would also put Bulls Iconic TR1 Speed on the list. Great bike.
Great list of commuter bikes. Have to wonder is there going to be a bike that comes along to cross the chasm - a Model T of eBikes that becomes ubiquitous (economical, user friendly, reliable). Spot on about the utilitarian nature of a commuter bike - its only once you live with one of these for a while do you realise the functionality you require (e.g. comfort, reliable brakes, fenders, carry capacity if reqd). I'd personally go for the R&M Roadster - for its relative lightness to the others, and the R&M reliability - I've a long commute with hills so a lighter bike, that won't break down is a must.
Great point Ron! I definitely think they were getting there and the ingredients are starting to come together. It’s gonna be interesting to see what unfolds from here.
Thanks Chris for clarifying. This is my favorite video of yours to date. The Riese and Muller Chargers Nixed with belt drive are my favorite bikes managing to be conventional and innovative both at the same time and extremely well designed. The only way I could see justifying spending that kind of money would be to replace one of my cars with it. When we go RVing instead of our tow vehicle maybe. I still don't fully understand the advantage of Rolloff hub, is it worth the price and what does it add. I thought my CCX was expensive and it has its quirks and understanding that it wouldn't make your list, has been a good bike.
Much appreciated! The charger3 is pretty awesome! I totally get the idea of these only making sense unless you replace your car. The Rohloff is really nice, but for most people I recommend the Enviolo. I kind of look as the Rohloff as an alternative if someone want a bit more efficiency and still have a belt. The CCX seems like a cool bike although I don’t have too much personal experience with it. I hope the way I put that in the video didn’t come across as snobbish or anything. I really do think most eBikes these days are pretty good, light years ahead of what was available when we started.
I'm a super commuter (31 miles each way, 62 mile round trip) and am leaning toward the Trek Allant+ 8S with the range extender. It was between that and the Gazelle Ultimate T10+ but the Trek is lighter and carries the support of Trek with a local store. Is there a reason you included the Gazelle but not Trek? Great video as always.
The Trek Allant+ is a nice way to go and with the range extender I think you’ll be happy with it. I don’t have to much experience with it as I don’t sell it, but on paper it looks great! My only caveat would be that it doesn’t have suspension, although the geometry seems to be able to handle it if you’d like (those long commutes can be tough on your body, but the wide tires help a lot). I’d recommend adding a suspension seatpost. Outside of the tires and suspension they have similar component specs. I guess depending on the conditions of your route you might find an advantage of narrower and lighter wheels on the Gazelle. The Gazelle might tend be a bit more upright in it’s seating position and the adjustable stem can get you more upright if you’d like. But if you’re looking to be most efficient you’ll probably want to be more forward. Lastly about weight, keep in mind Gazelle includes a frame lock which weighs about 3 lbs and the suspension probably adds another 3. I hope this was helpful.
15:48 While he is explaining here he blinks rapidly when making some specific points and assertions. My mom has a very similar mannerism. She will blink like that when she feels very strongly about a point she is making and feels that she speaks from a place of experience and insight on a subject, but also feels somewhat uncomfortable about the assertion of her expertise. I think because to elevate her personal opinion over others' is something she rarely does, only when necessary, and so she isn't used to it and is maybe a little defensive while doing so. Do you guys know what I'm talking about?
That’s a very astute observation. That does seem in line with my feelings on the topic. It’s very challenging though since I don’t want to be divisive, but I do feel this is the best direction. I will have another video on this topic soon which might help explain it better. But I might also do a video in the near future on some of my weird quirks as there are many. I appreciated you taking the time to watch and make this comment though.
@@Propelbikes hey, thanks for the video, it was great, very informative and well organized! I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, you just reminded me very much of my mother at that point in the video. I also watched your video explaining about the $25,000 fine you had received and some of the history of ebikes in NYC. That was very interesting as well. Good work.
I’m happy you enjoyed it! I have to give most credit to Tara my videographer for making it look and sound good. I’m actually really grateful for your comment as I think it helped explain my blinding a bit more. I do it often on video and I might do it less if I used a script, but I like to speak off the top of my head. That fine video has been really getting around. It feels pretty wild to think back on that time now. A lot has changed about eBikes since then.
@@Propelbikes I did enjoy the videos. I just got an ebike recently and have been watching lots of ebike videos trying to gain knowledge on the subject and yours have stood out. I remember the guy on ElectricBikeReview interviewing you as well and you seemed very chill. Now I'm uncomfortable because I feel like talking about you blinking could seem like a critique of your behavior, where as what I meant was to make an observation on the nonverbal nature of communication (I believe this is one of the less obvious reasons RUclips is so good at effectively disseminating information.). All human impulses and compulsions can start to seem objectionable when you obsessively deconstruct them. If anything this particular behavior is an asset as it tends to support (to me anyway) the veracity of your statements. I just wanted to mention that. Thanks again.
I want to be clear. Your comment about my blinking has been one of the more meaningful ones to me recently and I get a lot of heartfelt comments. At nearly 40 I still feel I have a lot to learn about myself and I feel like I learned something new today. Thanks for that
If Tern could put an internal hub, like a Nexus 8 or Enviolo, on the Vektron I would be first in line for that. The added flexibility for storage and transportation that a folding bike provides would make it easier for me to commit to a purchase. But internal hubs are so much better for stop/start city commuting than derailleurs ... I wish I could get both features on one bike!
You’re not alone here! I think Tern is also well aware of this need/request in the market. I was told that it won’t be anytime soon but who knows. They’re pretty good at surprising us with delight!
@@Propelbikes thanks that’s good to know! Hopefully they are taking the time to evolve the design of the Vektron rather than shifting strategy to do the GSD/HSD concept only. I’m willing to trade off some of the hauling capacity of those for more compact storage. If they come out with something new I suspect I’ll hear it from you first haha.
Cube have quite a lot of commuting bikes and now cargo as well. They are the main costumer of Bosch. Hopefully you will be able to ask them to come to the USA as well. I believe they are as well in Canada.
Thanks! You are right! They do have a distributor in Canada and sell some bikes in the US, we hope they ramp things up in the US as they do have some really cool bikes.
Another good choice would be the priority current. Mid drive ebike with gates carbon belt. Integrated lights and fenders. No rack but they do sell one as I recall and it has mounting points to add your own after market rack. I was going to get a gazelle medeo T10+ but covid supply chain issues delayed things long enough for me to look elsewhere. Having test ridden the gazelle and my own current I'd say they are comparable rides. Main difference is the current has the belt drive which is a wonder for a daily commuter and costs about a grand less. I really cant stress enough how nice it is to not have to deal with chain maintenance during wet winter months. Chain was needing cleaning and lube weekly to keep the squeek away and it still was starting to squeek a bit before the week was up. Belt drive, dead silent and only needs a garden hose down if the appearance of dirt annoys me. 800 miles and the only time I had to mess with it was re-tensioning it after fixing a flat.
Fantastic. Very informative and I am glad you added the qualifier about why you looked more specifically at the models using Bosch technology that you did. Nevertheless, very helpful as my kids are looking at this, and I am leaning in this direction myself.
Great job Chris, thanks for doing these videos. Will you do a video covering the R&M GPS anti theft option. Will the GPS tracking and recovery option be available in the USA? Thanks, love the channel.
Thanks! I actually just did a quick video as a conversation starter on GPS and plan to publish it in the next week or so. The R&M RX Chip won’t be a thing in the US anytime soon, but we are working on some other ideas.
@@holyfox94 The province I live in (BC) just announced no Provincial Sales Tax on ebike sales. So that is good news that brings me closer to ebiking reality. And while I have serious qualms with my city council on the housing affordability front, they have done a good job making my city safer on the cycling front. Part of the reason I quit cycling way back when was because of the safety issue. So many close calls and even malicious drivers. With a focus on infrastructure and the assistance that ebikes provide, I hope we see more people getting out of their cars and out on two wheels.
Thanks for the video, Chris! I've been eyeing the Tern Vektron (please get more in stock) for a bit but now I'll have to consider the R&M Tinker as well. Thanks again!
I also expect you can't possibly test all the current bikes out there not to mention the new ones constantly coming out. Being in Central Maine my greatest difficulty is kind myself limited in my ability to test out various models to see if I'm comfortable with any of them. If I could find a local dealership it might be a good distance drive and Maines a fairly big state. Then they'll likely have a limited selection. There are soooooo many options for EBikes. While that sounds like a good thing it's also kinda maddening as well.
Thx for this vid. Very instructive. What would you recommend for both commuting and for carrying my 1yo son in a rear baby seat? Was thinking about the R&M Roadster. But I’m now wondering about a bike with a rear suspension (to absorb shocks for my kid)
You have the best E-Bike info on YT. I'm looking at upgrading to my second bike going from a folding which I have enjoyed but outgrown. I need something zippy and can haul groceries plus tires that can handle the rough as well as Bitcumin Belt drive would be nice and Roloff gearing. I like the R&M Tinker or the Homage low step ???????? any other suggestions.I'm 163cm.
Great video as usual! I helped me understand the RM line. I am currently commuting with T10+ and pretty happy about it. I have a question: I have been looking for ways to adapt blinkers on my bike as I find that it is sometimes awkward to use my arms when the road is bumpy. Any advice on what’s available on the accessories market?
Arnaund, thanks! I actually have little experience with blinkers, but perhaps we will explore this topic in a future video? Let me know if you find anything good.
"It even rains in southern California" - LOL; I lived in Orange County for 20 years and as I remember, it usually rained for a solid week most years...if not much aside from that! (e-Brompton owner now, by the way)
It would have been great to seen this before we purchased our units. It would have been great to actually to get fitted for a bike, but because of the pandemic we ordered on-line.
I understand your selection process. However if you get a chance I’d like to know your opinion of the Qualisports Nemo at $999.00. According to its specs is weighs 30lbs which is my primary concern with Ebikes as I live in a old converted school building and need to navigate long flights of stairs what with me being 60 years of age and would just hate dying from a heart attack climbing a flight of stairs in order to take a bike ride:) thus making weight a key factor. It’s other features though far less important fit my criteria as I’m not a speed freak and the longest I’d need to travel round trip is 16 miles. Then there’s price. As I understand it Qualisports has been around for a few years so it doesn’t strike me as a fly by night company either.
I want to see ebike rims change from the thin wires to rims more like theones you find on motorcycles, and the ability to choose what type of rim you want.
I would check out a Riese & Muller Bike with the heavy duty package which is exclusively available on their hardbikes. You could also consider a cargo bike ike the Benno Boost or Tern HSD or GSD as these are definitely been built to handle more weight. I did a video about electric bikes for heavier riders you might want to check it out. I might have to do an updated one with some of the newer models but I think most of it still carries over. ruclips.net/video/Kf1-9UJmURA/видео.html
In France when you get rid of your 4 wheels vehicle in a scrap yard you can benefit of 1500 euros help to buy an electric or pedal assist bike it's available 6 months. I'm in this situation now and i'm still wondering which bike i should buy.
Hey Chris, how would Xtracycle’s RFA Sport, or Bulls Lacuba place next to these bikes? Looking at Benno and Gazelle in my area, but the RFA Sport appeals, and Bulls keeps coming up.
Those are cool bikes, but I would lean towards getting the newest generation Bosch motor if possible. We have sold the Lacuba, but we’re divesting from that motor system due to reliability and support issues.
I've seen comments that call cheaper bikes like those from Rad "toys" but I haven't really heard an explanation of what that means. Are they inferior because of the components or because of the brand?
Suspension is nice, but I find it adds too much weight. I'd rather ride light and deal with the bumps than have to maneuver a tank in and out of my home. I might think differently if my local roads were worse, but thankfully they're decent.
I would add 3 bikes there: 1. Brompton electric - nothing comes close in terms of folded size. 2. I:SY - german made compact bike with a handlebar that rotates for storage. 3. Qube compact - similar features to I:SY and RM Tinker.
That Brompton really is awesome for the reason that you mentioned. But unfortunately it seems that the tech might not be on the same level something like a Bosch motor system. Now if only Bosch could have a super lightweight system that would be pretty awesome! That I:SY bikes are really nice as well. I’ve checked them out at Eurobike Over the last few years and They have a nice niche going for them. Also think that cube compact is not a bad choice at all. We used to offer a bike from Kalkhoff called the Sahel and it’s very similar. I’m a big fan of those compact bikes especially for urban environments.
@@Propelbikes I've made a mistake calling Cube incorrectly. Another bike that you also have shown multiple times is Urban Arrow, great cargo bike! As for Brompton they sell their Electric version for some time now and people are generally happy with them. It has also got surprisingly good load carrying capabilities. Great example of ways to cary stuff is shown on Victor's review from Everyday Cycling channel. Trailers are good subject that I'd like to see more videos of.
Great feedback I appreciate it! It’s been on my list to do a video on trailers. We actually have a decent amount of experience with them. We also work with Wholefoods in New York City and then use the Carla Cargo trailer.
Has anyone used HeyBike Cityscape? I'm looking to buy one for my sister. Need something for city use & has multi speed, throttle & pedal assist. Step thru model. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
I’m not familiar with that bike. I will be interested to see Eve more commuter bikes in the future made of carbon though. I know there’s a high demand for a lighter weight bikes, and there are some on the market but I don’t wanna sacrifice on quality or serviceability.
@@Propelbikes its a really heavy bike not carbon, but it goes 32 mph, 26 inch wheel. 50-60 mile range. cost 1700. I guess the better question is are there any bikes at that price range or within $600 of it made of carbon that can do that distance and support a guy like me who weighs over 300LB. Lifting most of these ebikes is a workout in of itself. my giant escape 1 disc helped me get off a bunch of weight pre covid. these hills in manhattan are killing me though
This is a great video, no criticism here. But a message to manufacturers: please stop re-inventing the wheel on fenders and racks on commuter bikes, and the mounting points for them. It's not like ebike companies have found a better solution to rear pannier racks compared to what already exists. You can see on one company in this video, each bike they make has a different rear carrying system with different mounting points. None of it replaceable or interchangeable. It's great for the company to keep 100% of the money spent on accessories and replacement parts, if they have any in stock, but it doesn't help the customer any.
I do admittedly use the shop van occasionally, but it feels really nice to not have to worry about it and to make it easier to focus on other means of transportation, including eBikes of course.
05:25 In the Netherlands Gazelle just introduced the Ultimate C5 (Shimano 5 speed hub) This one has the performance line motor and it's possibly going to be a replacement for the C8+. Have no idea if it will come to US though....
You know I have to apologize that was an oversight. I’ve been anxiously awaiting our demo but it’s still just a little bit out. I’m really looking forward to getting some saddle time on that bike and doing a review when it comes in. I guess this is what I get for doing things on unscripted. Thanks for taking the time to point that out.
I can't find the crazy emoji with one eye closed and the tongue out. You know which one I mean. Oh. also add the crying and rolling eyes while we're at it.
All these bikes are available exclusively through retailers as their intended to be serviced and supported as long lasting vehicles. I don’t want to sound rude but a large percentage of the eBikes on Amazon are a bit more in the toy category.
I have a Turbo levo but wants another bike for work a really ugly bike that is easy to recognize with a heavy steel frame and parts that doesn't fit other bike's and has a integrated lock easy to take off battery Good light and a big fold down stand like old mopeds have.. I'm going to use it for delivery because one day at work for me before im done i been locking my bike for an hour together considering all the places I stopped
it’s funny how people always talk about these things are good for the environment help save the planet and all that but you can’t even afford it,how sad how humans had become 🥺
Of these, only the R&M Homage is any good for commuting here in Salt Lake City. It actually has full suspension WITH low-step frame. (I haven't seen a single non-electric bike that is full suspension WITH low-step frame. Are regular bike makers all idiots ?? [Yes]).
Thanks so much for watching!

Now that winter is arriving here in the Canada, I'm wondering if you have or will do a video on e-bike commuting in snow and ice.
I know that Not Just Bikes has a few, but that's really just talking about how unfriendly North america is to bikers
Go watch Paige Saunders, he did one in the context of Montreal. I believe Shifter did one for Calgary as well.

Always enjoy your videos..... thank you.
That is a nice bike, I did only include our bikes on the list. I guess I have to be more explicit about that as i don’t want to be misleading.
Danke!
Good list of some high quality ebike's 👍
Thanks!

Oh yeah, I subscribed right after I found your videos.
Similar schemes are popular in the UK
For sure!
The title of this video should be, The top 10 commuter bikes that you sell. This video was more of a commercial than to be informative....
Good feedback! I’m going to change it to our top commuter eBikes for 2021
Chris, great video.
So informative as always. Thank you.
Thanks Phong!
Looking over these bikes and their prices makes me feel a lot better about my diy setup.
I totally respect that! My first bike was a DIY
No matter how expensive of a bike you buy, in the long run, it will still cost substantially less than a car.
Interesting looking bikes. The designs are getting better, a couple years later and most of these should be perfected
I wish there was a bike vendor like you in th UK as you seem really into your subject 10/10
Great review, thanks Chris. I bought a new bike last year and want to buy an e-bike
We’ll definitely try ;)
Cube have quite a lot of commuting bikes and now cargo as well. They are the main costumer of Bosch. Hopefully you will be able to ask them to come to the USA as well. I believe they are as well in Canada.
Thanks! You are right! They do have a distributor in Canada and sell some bikes in the US, we hope they ramp things up in the US as they do have some really cool bikes.
I love the Tony Tone Toni nod.
One of my favorite groups growing up!
I am from Spain, I have a Kalkhoff Endeavour Belt, it's amazing: Enviolo, Bosch 650, very very good
Another good choice would be the priority current.
Test drove a Gazelle T10+. They are impossible to find so ended up buying a Specialized Turbo Como 4.0. I prefer the quieter Brose motor of the Como
Ah that’s a bummer as we have stock of them. I wish you the best of luck with the Specialized, it looks Ike a cool bike.

Question: Can you add a rear rack battery to the Tinker?
Thanks! Glad you have found it to be helpful! Unfortunately the Tinker isn’t setup to accept a rear rack battery.

You’re not alone there! That thing is next level though!
The Homage is beautiful. My fantasy ebike buy is the Multicharger with a Rohloff.

At least in big cities, are car is not at all necessary or convenient.
Nice bikes. Unfortunately I can't afford one
Thanks for the video, Chris! I've been eyeing the Tern Vektron (please get more in stock) for a bit but now I'll have to consider the R&M Tinker as well. Thanks again!
Love my Vektron here. I don’t even use the folding but I love it’s size and weight.
Support has helped a lot
I also expect you can't possibly test all the current bikes out there not to mention the new ones constantly coming out. Being in Central Maine my greatest difficulty is kind myself limited in my ability to test out various models to see if I'm comfortable with any of them. If I could find a local dealership it might be a good distance drive and Maines a fairly big state. Then they'll likely have a limited selection. There are soooooo many options for EBikes. While that sounds like a good thing it's also kinda maddening as well.
Good stuff, Chris!
is that long beach you filmed this video in? looks familiar!
I need something zippy and can haul groceries plus tires that can handle the rough as well as Bitcumin
Belt drive would be nice and Roloff gearing.
Please make your audio louder! But keep up the good videos
Thanks, this is an issue with RUclips but we working on it

Any indication that Tern is planning on bringing belt drive Enviolo hub to the 2022 Tern Vectron?
When will you release a 2022 version?
Great review, love the TINKER
Ok...there are several e-bikes on the video...
Which one is the lightest, and has all the other components(mud guard, chain guard, etc.)?
I'm equally excited about the Priority Current e-bike, from a reputable NYC company.
The question is …how many miles does enviolo and bosch last ????
Can you give your opinion on a FreeForce Fairmount electric commuter and/Mountain bike.
I want to see ebike rims change from the thin wires to rims more like theones you find on motorcycles, and the ability to choose what type of rim you want.

Why didn’t you add LECTRIC XP to your list? This a good computer eBike.
All these bikes are are superior quality compared to the lectric. Go with the lectric if it does what you need.
Which of the bikes that you reported on have a capacity of 300 pounds or more. I certainly would like to review them based upon your recommendation.

@@Propelbikes Thanks Chris, much appreciated!
My pleasure!
Has anyone done any reviews on Bintelli Bicycles???
I've seen comments that call cheaper bikes like those from Rad "toys" but I haven't really heard an explanation of what that means. Are they inferior because of the components or because of the brand?
Excellent! 👍🏽
Would love to see someone review the I:SY, i'm looking for the enviolo hub gear, gates belt drive version to try out in the UK...

Any carbon bikes that run like the E FLY 11?
Your saddle looks way too high in some of these shots??
Hope Stromer can get your attention again. I love mine to death.
shindelhaur are very similar to riese & moller and are a great ride but i am in uk they are made in Berlin
