Large Bathroom Mirror Removal!

- One of the big tasks for our bathroom remodel was to remove the 108 inch mirror from over the vanity. There are other ways to accomplish this, but this is how a retired glazier did it.
And, I cut down the mirror to reuse as two new framed mirrors!!
Caution: If you choose this method, you need at least 3 to 4 people and unlike me, you should wear safety goggles and cut level 3 gloves. And make sure you know how to use your suction cups safely! - Хобби
I learned the hard way about eye protection and now don't attempt anything dangerous without them. I was drilling through a concrete wall and a couple of small pieces struck me in the eye. Fortunately there was no long term damage but I did end up in the emergency room to have the pieces removed. I shudder to think what a mirror could do.
I liked the bow-break
Haha, I had forgotten that my wife Sara had put that in. Never understood why she did that.
But thanks for watching!
Where did you get those suction cups??
I was a commercial glazier for 40 years. Those are the cups I used on jobs. You can actually buy glazing cups on amazon. They are about $60. You can also rent them from any rental place.
Excellent job, now can you come to my home and help me please? Just kidding. I am 10 minutes from key largo fl. thank you so much
