I can SO relate to your realization of change in what vintage is purchased. I used to pick up almost every vintage piece from the 40s, 50s through the 70s and 80s, but have found that now I only pick up those with quality fabrics. Unless of course it is a very unique 70s top in fabulous polyester.....LOL I have to say it is still hard for me to walk away. I love your videos! Thanks for sharing.
Laura! That alligator makes me nervous. No strolling around that pond! Don’t people want to wear damaged, slightly disheveled vintage pieces anymore? “In my day”, they certainly did. There can be a certain poetry in a beautiful woman wearing a slightly decaying dress. Like Miss Havisham. Your thoughts?
Loved the old 50's dress, looked so good on you. Just found you channel, know you are not about makeup, but could you let me know the makeup you are using? Brush the whole thing. It looks amazing on you. Thanks.
I have purchased vintage over the top embellished pieces and cut out the fancy part. Sewed it across the shoulders of a plain white blouse, another time on the side of flared denim and on the back of an army green ulility jacket. Those New Balance shoes were the find of the day. Depending on your shoe size you should find ruffle socks in the kids department
that was my thought too! I would have bought the dress and cut out the embellishment to add to another piece. I have a pair of thrifted slouchy jeans that I am adding vintage embellishments to and so far they are looking amazing! I have a bit of lace and some embroidery patches and I am incorporating "visible mending" to tie it all together ❤
Really don’t buy anything online I don’t trust it . Often v you order clothes and I hear people get it and it doesn’t fit or the colour is not right they send the wrong colour or size . You order something from a private seller and you don’t get the item period . Too many horror stories for me . I buy right from the source in person . Better bro be safe than sorry is my motto .

Yes, I agree!
I finally found vintage pieces that I loved today, after a few months of not finding good vintage.
Yessss! It’s so few and far between now but the good stuff is still out there 🙌
It’s harder now for sure but worth the thrill of the hunt and reward 😌
