I didn't find the dragon *that* hard. It's weird to me that so many people are saying that it's one of the hardest bosses in the game.

@@thenurseinblack1810 I never actually beat the game, only beat one boss in the 3rd area, but I probably found the clown hardest, followed by, idk, maybe Wally Warbles? Not too many bosses that stand out for me as being much harder than the others.
Junkyard Jive took me days to S rank. This was during the first week of the games released where the professor had an absurd amount of health with no pink items to hit. They changed it now when I went back to it this year.

This game looks absolutely beautiful. I love the old cartoon style. They definitely need to make more games like this. I can't get it tho because I already know I won't beat the first boss lol

The first boss is easy if you do the tutorial and then practice on a demo or something like that edit: for beginners
I thought so too, but I've played this game for around 27 hours and I'm already at King Dice! It's all about muscle memory and plain luck. Plus, taking frequent breaks will help tremendously.

Miranda, you can shoot them or parry the cards to change your gravity and avoid them.
The Gaming Ducklett thought the same thing! He knows all the tricks. Considering watching this for some levels I'm having trouble with...
They did all this without using smoke bomb...
I used the smoke bomb for every level (Except the ones with plane it's just useless)and i think it is the best upgrade

I use it most of the time, but I also use auto parry most of the time especially in the devils last phase (you should know why)

IGN reviewers only play about halfway through a game before reviewing it. This is fact. I saw it on RUclips.
IGN plays the tutorial and then try to review the game. You should see their Doom gameplay, dude was shooting the floor half the time

After all the time spent on a game you develop it would be wrong to not like what you created.
SketOG Well artists can tend to show a lot of humility and sometimes even downright hate or forget their work. But its always nice to look back at something and say "Yeah, I'm proud of that."
It's really hard to achieve that because you know your game nearly at 100%, there are no misteries for the creator.

The dragon took me approximately 4 tries with the peashooter, lobber, extra heart, and original charge attack.

It took me over an hour to beat that level and he just breezed through it.
They had the invisible dash, where you have i-frames when you dash.
Nope, they had p. sugar equipped. You can visually see if someone has smoke dash, on top of the fact that they actually check their load out right before starting and you can see p. sugar equipped.

I honestly found perilous pier, the run and gun, to be one of the most difficult parts of the game.

lol have you seen David Vonderhaar play black ops 3? He’s terrible at it but everyone thought he would be decent. Of course call of duty is a big franchise with many devs but knowing that he’s one of the lead devs you would think he’d know tricks and techniques.

So much respect for this development team and the game. It brought me back to time when games where hard. The art style reminded me of old cartoons I loved to watch and the music is just prefect for the title. Awesome game created by an awesome team.

Optimus Vivero I agree I’ve been thinking to actually try out the game and IDNGAC (I do not give a care) if it’s all raging but like they always say “practice makes perfect” just keep on trying and trying you may improve or not but never give up your dreams, some dreams sometimes are dreams sometimes they feel like it could happen in the future or it could happen in reality but the creators of cuphead are such an great team, great developers, I like the 1930s art styles just everything about the game really blows my mind for real though

I would love to get a dev book with all the art work and the creators talking about there games process.
I think their idea came from playing Battletoads or Ghouls and Goblins while 1930-40s cartoons were playing in the background.... while they were high.

That’s different cuz you can get good at dark souls, in cuphead you need to learn the mechanics after dying a thousand times to a single boss
Solid Snake’s Persona especially the original dark souls once you figured out the learning curve, the entire game was a breeze
