An A-level student and Grand Slam champion--she is phenomenal! A total package of brain, beauty and brawn.
the brain is choosing a career outside tennis right now
one day fly
@@squidjames7735 what is she choosing
The way she speaks during all sorts of interviews only show that she's mature beyond her age. Graceful and always positive, she is all about positive spirit. Really amazing for a teenager.
One stat that is rarely mentioned. Emma won a Slam without first having won a single ATP match!
No way seriously impressive she must've got a wildcard then she's a us open GS championship
She is a female player, only plays ITF or WTA matches. She will never play an ATP match which is for men.
Lol no woman has ever won an atp match
WTA*
@@strongbrain3128 I'm an idiot for not seeing they said ATP
I've seen her play so many times, I'm happy she's finally getting recoginsed now
Whenever I need cheering up, I watch this video :-)
Great compilation of Emma's incredible record breaking journey 👍🎾🎉
I think she's an amazing person. Very inspirational and great role model.
she's already disliked on tour because of her attitude, not to mention she threw her old coach under the bus
@@steinanderson9849 Ever since her ill mannered and pathetic 58 word press conference she is disliked everywhere.
Nice work. Emma has no fear and a laser focus on getting to where she wants to be. What belief!
What a fairy tale story in US Open. She is such a delightful girl.
Don't know why everyone is so excited, yes she won a grand slam, not many players does, let's see what her result will be in 2022. I wish her all the best and hope she will win more grand slam or wta title. I hope it is not a one time thing.
She'll have to wait for a while and prove herself to be a rounded champion... and that her US Open win is not a flash in the pan. But I pity her, the media hype, esp the British media, has not made her path easier, unnecessary pressure for her young age.
Definitely a major shot in the arm for woman's tennis and tennis in general; she's certainly rekindled my interest in tennis with her abundant talent, beauty and intelligence. Let's hope she continues her success and is around for many years to come
Lovely compilation of a special girl - go Emma - 2022 awaits you !
Nice compilation. It was a magical year for Emma Raducanu.
Golf, skiing, dirtbiking, go-carting, horse riding. Must be nice to have rich parents. Those are among the most expensive hobbies for a kid. And she did all of them?
great video
Excellent review of Raducanu.
Emma’s first and last trophy to raise. She has no regrets. Most people will never win a grand slam as a teenager
Very nice video.. great compilation.. very comprehensive story of her journey
I think I actually love her. She’s the most determined person I know.
Vừa vào đã nổi cả da gà 藍giọng a Phúc hayyy quá, mong sẽ tiếp tục cover ạ ❤️
A lot of pressure people are piling on her. Her results post US Open don't bode well.
@ho ber I really hope so. I’m a fan so I hope it is just growing pains-adjusting to the spotlight. Also hope she had a good financial team to set her up for life.
Latelay, She has an impressive games at Indian Wells...Emma is getting stronger, looking stronger and with more confidence and esteem....:))
Excellent video. Well done.
You mean the rise and fall of Emma Radacanu!!
She is a 🌟❤️❤️❤️💯
whose here after her US Open 2022 dirst round lost? I love Emma and I think this is a good way to start the rebuild. She wouldn't be seeded so high in competitions and might even need to go through qualifiers for some events. All this gives her more time to adapt to the high level of tennis progressively unlike this year. It is like going for the A levels without going through junior college. It has to be done step by step and now she can with a lower rank after losing 2000 points
And now she isnt even playing us open 2023 😂 truly a one hit wonder who got lucky
Outstanding lass ...!
2.08 - 2.18 : Why didn't she serve her winning US open ace like this????????
I'd be astonished if you couldn't get better odds than 100/1 on Emma before the US Open began...!
Can’t be many people 2 months before BBC Sports Personality of the Year being 12/1 on to win with the bookies.
Very cute videos of young Emma. I just really hope her stunning looks not gonna outshine her tennis skills. and she is not gonna become next Bouchard.
I've done all the math. The US Open win was a major fluke
I’m laughing because they say newstead wood is a primary school although I know it’s a secondary grammar school as I’m doing the exam for it
How she has fallen from grace. I mere shell of her former US open 21 self
She will make FAR more money off the court than she will on it.
She must increase her power to compete with high level players
She is so beautiful
she looks so much like her dad
em thành công rồi chị ơi
I have to point this out. It’s Pune (Poo- nay) .
The rise and unluckly the fall of Emma
A lot of surprizes in store ahead for all the nay sayers and her critics.!
The girl has got class and skill to spare.!
Cant wait for her to return to the court and start taking her place again at the top.😅
She's going to be a billionaire before she retires. She's amazing at tennis, super good looking, speaks mandarin, Romanian andEnglish, and is going to be the face of so many products. She's a marketing dream.
If she can keep winning.
@@red4666 she only needs to be competitive. Her looks and her accent will be a marketing dream. Like Sharapova, her non tennis income will eventually dwarf her on court earnings.
@@geofthompson3844 that’s a good point. You think she’ll be the next Sharapova, but I think she’ll be the next Bouchard. Yes, I understand Eugenie never won a slam, but their exposure for being the next tennis “it” girl is almost the same.
@@red4666 yes, exactly. Although, that's the absolute lowest level possible. If Emma is the real deal, and if she ends up being a true superstar level player who wins 5 or more GS titles, then she'll be the Uk's first Tiger level megastar.
Although, having thought about it, just winning Wimbledon would be enough. That would be crazy hype. She'd be a national hero.
@ho ber yeah, and even if she were forced to retire early because of injury, she'd probably get a job in media. Annabel Croft and Virginia Wade are ancient history now, Emma Raducanu would probably take over.
The fast rise and the equally fast drop, of Raducanu!!
0 and 1 against Rybakina yesterday. on the cusp?
That was sad. This stuff never happens in men's tennis.
And the fall of Emma Raducanu.
Si many wanted to down her... that her US Open was a fluke. She is talented, give her a break. Everyone starts from the bottom.
why does she look like emily willis?
Rise of Raducanu? No, the title should be the FALL of Raducanu. She started at the top, USO, and has FALLEN ever since. Rarely has anyone, with so much talent and promise, risen so fast, and fallen just as fast.
if she takes my business, hell to pay
Feb 28, 2022.... Should now be titled The Rise "and FALL"...
1 year on and Ridiculanu is now seen as the greatest disappointment in WTA history. Lost her Brit No1 status and ranked 130
She is so like Sharapova.. If you watch the 2004 match it's soooo similar and just ridiculous.. however Emma doesn't grunt I really hate grunting.. Do you????
I love her, but Emma does grunt a tad. But not so loud, and never near the level of the screamers, who made womens' tennis near unwatchable.
Please put the photos of Sharapova and Raducanu side by side. Do you see anything similar??? Height, physicality, style, tennis IQ,appearance??? Nothing similar. Sharapova is beautiful and classy.
@@decoridiumturkiyemobilyave1156 So is Emma however she doesn't cheat to win 🙂
100 to 1?? more like 200-250 to 1 at the start of the tournament
Should be "The Rise ... and Fall of Raducanu".
She rose fast... and Fell even faster!
For a girl on her first full seasons on the WTA, and still very much on a learning slope, she's still won more matches in 2022 than she's lost.
She didn't rise fast, she exploded on the scene with her win at the US Open. Take out that win, and she's been making steady progress.
One slam wonder
The title should be: The rise and stall and potentially FALL of Emma Raducanu. What has she done so far since her U.S. Open win???
Studying. She doesn’t need to do much now. Sorted
@@bartholomewlyons Ahhh....she needs to back up that slam win with some solid wins and other titles. She hasn't done anything significant since her LUCKY win at the U.S. Open.
You are clearly not a fan of Emma's so why are you watching videos about her? Just to spread negativity I guess. Unfortunately there are a lot of people like you.
@@stevewindermere7334 Being constructively critical is Not negativity. I'm just keepin it 100 all day long (and so should you).
She's becoming more famous for modeling jewelry , js .
no she isnt.....what a stupid thing to say
Doubt she will win any more Grand Slams
why ?
The other girl, Fernandez, probably will. Has a chip on her shoulder and coming back
@@waltervogelhosedocto cos she’s not good enough……
Nice little Chinese-Canadian girl, eh!?
More focused on all of her sponsorships and endorsements, it’s become more important than tennis 🤦🏻♂️
so young to be a has been
What she did with her trainer after win the US open was so ungrateful
Can they stop talking about her she is now treated like justin Bieber lol
@@SicPapi justin bieber is a shame from canada.
good tennis player. has she disappointed herself recently? yes, not only the pressure but.. she is going through what loads of other players go through and this is when she plays so well that in another tournament after their incredible win she blows it and goes back out of the top 100 in no time. lets be honest she is so popular because of her personality and looks. a bloody joke to be honest.
The rise and fall. Unfortunately she hasn't won a game of bingo since. Best of look next time.
Just another British five minute wonder.
over hyped, she has a long way to go
She's flopped horribly since.
Leylah should have won!
She should have but she didn’t people only remember the winners not losers 😊
Why 'should have'? Emma mauled her just like she did everyone else. 6-4, 6-3 is not exactly close. During the 9 matches up to the final, Emma scored 27 aces against only 14 double faults, put 77% of her first serves in and won 73% of them, won 57% of her second serves, had break points in 33 out of 48 return games in which she won 277 points, and lost only 5 service games. She certainly deserved to win the final just as much as anyone has ever done.
@@BenjWarrant Mainly because she's a Canadian, but then I find out that Emma was born in Canada! So, it's all good.
@@glenncurley680 They are both Commonwealth citizens. Hence why the Queen sent them both congratulatory messeges of their achievements etc etc
@@BenjWarrant Specifically, who did Emma play in the tournament prior to the final? And she mauled who?
I would say Leylah "merited" the championship based on her track record. Her path to the final was much more an achievement given who she played and defeated. Emma played no one in the top 10, whereas Leylah played three of the top 5. Had she won the tournament, it would have been a true "David vs Goliath" story. Her game vs Emma would have been a better test if Emma had a similar path to the final. Leylah's matches against the girls in the top 5 were consecutive and each went three sets, and left her understandibly spent for the final.
Emma won the final, no disputing that. Put into perspective, she had an easier path and benefitted from how the draw unfolded. Time will tell how successful a career she will have. I wish her the best and hope the ridiculous pressure she is enduring does not impact her negatively.
