      @@mickedeut Of course.
During this era, he established 2 of the most impressive records of tennis' history, the series of victories against the world top 10 without losing even a single match.
He didn't lose during 2 and 1/2 years against any of the best 10 players on the planet (well, the 9 other, as he can't play against himself), making an incredible huge series of 24 victories. Then, the second best series of history is 17 victories without losing eve 1 game, and this series has bee made by... Federer, again.
The 2nd best player has a record which is "only" the half of Fed's 1st series, 12, and it's not RN nor ND, but Sampras (or Agassi, a lil doubt).
Then, RN & ND have records around 9-10. They never won more than 9-10 times in a row Vs the top 10, while Fed did win 17 times, and even 24 times back to back.

Nadal cried almost as much as Roger. Mirka, Lynette and Robert, and the 4 kids of Roger, all the family cried a lot too of course.
I saw Tsitsipas crying, Ruud a bit, Berrettini too, Taylor Fritz also, and even ND cracked up in the end; and many spectators obviously. Easier to count the people who didn't cry at all.

That ain’t true. I’m a few months from 40. Even though I have more money and land than I’ve ever had, I have a feeling it’s all down hill from here. Nothing better than youth. I have a feeling that’s part of the reason why Nadal was crying as well. Despite his success this year, and despite the fact that he could probably return to just the clay court season and thrive, he knows his days are numbered.

@@fg92626 2009 Madrid was too strong for nadal . Their levels were pretty even in 08-09 (except rg) at this point with feds confidence taking a hit on big stages.

The only player in history to take this long to retire, all the while milking every last drop of his endorsements. Then he gets a king's farewell to rake in even more eyeballs. Shameless.

7:42, Youzhny, one of the favorite victims of the Maestro.
17 victories to 0 for RF against him; same number against David Ferrer, although Roger played him many times when Ferrer was world n°3 and n°4; but David never beat Goliath in this case.
Then, the 19-2 vs Davydenko, the 21-3 against Roddick and the 23-3 Vs. Wawrinka r his other great results in the H2Hs.

Behind Lynette (Roger's mother, sitting in the front row, between Mirka - Roger's girlfriend since they met at the Olympic Games of Sydney, 22 years ago, both being part of the swiss tennis team there, his wife since 2009 and mother of their 2 pairs of twins - and Tony Godsick - Federer's agent) at 6:24, I recognize a basketball player, but don't remember his name.
Anyway, love his reaction, he's totally amazed by the GO.A.T. of sport, and deservebly.
