  • The latest economic report from the International Monetary Fund forecasts a better 2024 for the world economy than previously predicted. However, the IMF's data suggests Germany is falling further behind other major economies. Why is Germany struggling to bounce back? Which countries are driving global growth? And what potential threats lie ahead in 2024? We discuss those questions and more with Petya Koeva Brooks from the IMF's research department.

While most of Europe was colonizing to gain riches until the mid-1900s. Plus, regardless of political in-fighting the consumer trusts the government enough to keep spending. Germany should compare itself to other manufacturing-developed nations, not the United States where manufacturing and energy heavy industries are not even 40% of our economic growth. Don't be down, we're just different than the rest. q1 and q2 don't have consumption holidays, so you'll hopefully get to laugh during then...until q3 and q4.
