This guy is certainly doing things the right way. Will be looking out for a Frey Ranch from now on. Also his Grandpa is a legend, bought that farm and set his family up for generations
Yeah, grandpa knew his grandson would make booze. He just knew.
That’s because grandpa made booze
It’s an awesome pour!!
@@shareemibitsfala5534if we're honest. If your grandpa is doing something he loves and your around it growing up i think it kinda inspires you
This is local to my home, and damn it’s good. You can direct order too, shows up fast
Being a northern Nevada native, seeing what Colby and Ashley have done at Frey Ranch is amazing. They bring a lot of pride to the region and seeing their continued success and expansion throughout the country is wonderful. Glad you were able to collaborate on a single barrel with them and bring them further into the spotlight with this great video.
Now please, for the love of god, continue to pronounce our state correctly!
If you have never been there it’s the mom that knows what is going on. 1406 is the unicorn of Frey Ranch
Really want to try some of their stuff.
Appreciate the love for my local whiskey distiller.
Frey Ranch is the best bourbon I've had in years. As soon as I tried it, it immediately went into my top 5 all-time of bourbons I've tried over the years. The stuff is just glorious.
I make furniture out of it TJ…tables, chairs, stools, shelves. My bourbon shelves are bourbon barrels! Btw - love Frey Ranch. And love that they ship!!
Got the farm strength recently and can honestly say it's one of the most flavorful and unique bottles I've ever had. It's really good.
I appreciate how they utilize the byproducts with the environment in mind. and the way they balance the soil's pH for the right condition for growing and harvest. I would have to research the source company of the barrels to put my stamp on their the Frey's spirits but hey, I'm cut from a different cloth. Love this upload. Keep it up TJ & Jill
Their uncut is fantastic.
TJ you crack me up buddy! I love watching the progression of your dialog as the tasting evolves. You get more and more animated and seem like an awesome guy to have a drink with. I loved watching your fan get to share in the tasting with you. He was meeting his superstar for the first time. Never forget the little unknown inexperienced guys at home watching, liking, subscribing and superchatting for you. Its a testament to the joy that you bring to learning and enjoying the art of whiskey. So many people love spending time with you because you are quite a character. One day I look forward to getting my chance to taste through some whiskey with you. Cheers!
I absolutely need a bottle of that smoked series..
Had the pleasure of meeting Ashley when I was visisting the ranch a couple of years back, it's a beautiful place and the customer service and facility tour was enlightening and indepth.
The tasting room is impressive and we were served by two sisters who had a lot of knowledge about the products. Now I maintain 3 bottles of FR on my shelf, the single barrel being my go to, but all are solid pours. Love what they have done and the potential of this place is crazy good, for a small town operation.
I'm sitting here and this video came up. 10 minutes before, I poured me a FR. Thanks to you, this is my fourth bottle. I can only get it when I go to Georgia. Keep it up TJ!
This video made me love Frey Ranch.... The work gloves was such a classy move... great video.
Basiclaly doing things the opposite way of a sourced whiskey company like 13th colony. I like this concept I will support them whenever I see a bottle on the shelf.
So thankful I found Frey at my local Sam’s club. Being from the Central Valley of California agriculture is huge and finally seeing a distillery that grows all the items that go into the product they make definitely pushed me to want to try it and I fell in love. Definitely wanting to take a visit and do some tasting!
I keep watching, hoping to see you try and review some of the whiskeys and bourbons from wood hat spirits in New Florence, MO. I love their offerings. We drive down there 10 hours to pick up their products. Hope to see you try and review their products soon.
60k in 1944? Grandpa was loaded. Since 1854? Same thing as farming in CA. Awesome business, cool guy
Calculated for 2023 dollars 60k is roughly the equivalent of $1.03 million dollars. So the modern equivalent cost per acre today would be about $414 dollars an acre. Guess I missed the boat considering that my 2.41 acres cost $52k.😮
Just bought my first Frey Ranch this weekend. Went with the Farm Strength. It is definitely a bunker worthy bottle. Great video. 👍
My son and I have a Blanton's barrel which we plan on converting to a whiskey cabinet. Frey Ranch is one of my favorites, so great to see you there for a pick. Cheers!
Tried Frey Ranch based on your recommendation while in Vegas. I liked it and now have added it to the collection. Enjoying the videos.
I can only hope Frey Ranch gets to distribute to Kentucky soon. I've been reading, hearing, and paying a lot of attention to them over the last year and I am thrilled about what they do and how they do it. Just waiting for my first taste/bottle.
I absolutely love this video! Great content! This is my favorite video you’ve made, I live what Frey Ranch stands for!
love THIS video! Cannon shot at the end was EPIC! Looking forward to getting my first barrel pick when it becomes available to my tier.
Amazing. Just picked up the uncut. It was a “bottom shelf whisky” at the local beverage barn in NW Ohio.
Just hearing about their history and what they do makes me like them even more. A farmer with lineage that makes whiskey
This is one bottle I hope makes its way to New Jersey. Really digging what these guys do.
What a super fun experience! Love my single barrels of Frey Ranch!
This is probably your best video!!! Whoever did editing is top notch
Great video TJ. Always top notch.
I’m impressed! I’ll definitely be checking out Frey Ranch. Love the from ground to bottle operation. Great video!
Love their bourbon. Can't wait for these @1:43 to find their way to store shelves!
I haven't tried it yet, but after watching this video I will certainly be doing so.
like their stuff or not, ya gotta respect those guys and gals, hell of a good group, lotta respect.
He talked about the weather being bipolar there and that making it good whether for the burboun. Even mentioned Kentucky. Would just like to say that we are also in that same boat of it can be snowing at 8 am and be 75-76 by 4-5 pm. It’s so interesting to me that the weather matter so much.
Frey ranch is excellent. Tried some from a friend and hope it starts showing up in stores here in TX.
Whiskey Acres in Dekalb, very similar to Frey ranch. Family owned grain to glass
Great Quality Video, Keep up the Good Work.
Why is it that 99.99% of alcohol youtubers seem like they just drink burbon cuz it looks cool TJ you can tell absolutely loves burbon. Most of them seem like they are just reciting the notes from what they seen online. But you can tell TJ fully enjoys it.
I love this guy. I'll be looking for this stuff in Minnesota.
Calculated for 2023 dollars 60k is roughly the equivalent of $1.03 million dollars. So the modern equivalent cost per acre today would be about $414 dollars an acre. Guess I missed the boat considering that my 2.41 acres cost $52k.😮
Such a great video!
Hey Big B you may have heard of it , but heard of it yesterday, Leipers Fork Distillery in Tn. I use to meet up in Leipers Fork , Tn at Puckett’s Gro great food great place to visit
Was waiting for this video!!
Can't wait for this barrel pick! Also, the video was excellent and as an A/V guy, the editing was great!
It's not in colorado. why not. Lots of competitors here. Farm to glass is a smaller subsect. I love the concept. It's selling like hotcakes here. Shout out root shoot malting. Boulder spirits has made their stuff into a American single malt. If i make it to that state ill have to try.
I don’t see Frey ranch in my local stores but I can’t wait to find some, I wanna try everything they make
My goodness. LOVE working cannons and that did not disappoint!
My buddies and I are planning a trip up the Sierras from the Bay Area to go pay a visit to this wonderful place.
After watching the watching the way they make there whiskey I'm going to be buying some of of it. Thank you
Hey Brewzle crew! You knocked it outta the park ! Best video to date!!!
You could cut the barrel slats into 4-6" chunks, laser on a logo, and distribute them either random giveaways live/meetups, give them to patreons, sell them, etc.
8:21 That’s *Incredible* how well he’s able to reuse all that water straighttt into his Farm
Thank you for making my day 🥰🙏
Wow i just picked up a bottle and what do i see here! Perfect thing to watch when i crack it open tonight.
All I can say is freaking AWESOME !!!!!!!
Watching this just convinced me to go buy some Frey Ranch!
Used barrels are great for a bar base. You can cut doors and add shelves.
Wooow O.O This one was Sickkk 🤘 Like an actual Television Show, Dam.
I love Frey Ranch. Big fan
When are they releasing that distillers wheat and smoked series? I'll take a trip! This was almost as good as your Ben Holliday pick video! Great stuff!
Just got my first Frey Ranch Bottles, regular bourbon and the uncut.
It’s impossible to get them in Kansas City, but my buddy wants one for himself now he liked it so much.
What would you say is another craft bourbon that is similar enough to Frey, but more available in the Midwest?
I got one of those wheat single barrels today. 🎉
Appreciate this
I'll be checking for Frey bourban!
Black rifle coffee is a no brainer for y’all’s coffee fix!! MERICA💯
I got a bottle of rye BiB batch 9 was very good.
Awesome video
Very nice. Ask him when he will distribute to the Northeast (Maine NH). It’s currently not available. Also, your pallet is trained more towards sweet notes. Grains and dryer notes aren’t inferior
Great video!! How are you so consistent! Bravo!
Need to check out Lonely Oak in Iowa!
Love the work gloves
I'm jealous! Frey Ranch makes some fantastic whiskey
Going to have to pickup a bottle next time I see !
Cant find it in stores yet in Kentucky. But I just placed an order on the website for a fathers day bundle.
Should I buy the straight bourbon or uncut (or both)? What is your opinion of the rye?
Had some in Vegas. It’s amazing. Being in Canada I am chapped I can’t get any here. @Brewzle any ideas on how to get some up North of the boarder?
Great Video!!!!
I’m hopeful their spirits make their way into Kentucky soon.
Definitely a farmer. Built it off a couple pictures. I know what I’m getting my brother for his birthday.
Gawd dayum that's a lot of supporters! Hope this pick makes it down to the 20 proofers lol.
I seen this video and got three bottles of their whiskey each one is different. I hope I can catch that wheat one you guys you tasted.
Definitely going to buy a bottle of Frey Ranch
What a life.
I wish I could get this in UT
Have a FR single barrel pick. Probably the best nose I have in my collection. Orange citrus bomb
What did you pay for it, my local liquor store have some.
Damn good vid!
Did you like the 8 yr or 6yr wheat better?
I’m newer to bourbon, but have tried plenty so far. Frey Ranch is next on my list. But are they considered “Craft “ just because they’re not from
Kentucky? What’s makes them craft?
Definitely gonna need to get me a bottle of his barrel pick of frey
Frey Ranch when are you coming to Northeast Florida?!
Make some coasters out of the barrel and put ur logo In the center ! I’d buy that.
I might have missed it but, where are they sourcing their water? Is it well water?
Now I want to try all there offerings but it is not available in my area. 😩😩
I LOVE THE FREY RANCH
Can you please get some uncut bottles with the barrel drop?
How can you get a brewzle autographed barrel and how much?
I'm going to give it another try. I tried the four grain once and it taste like rot.
I need this pick
I really wish I could find some Frey Ranch here in SC, but I have yet to find anywhere that sells it near me.
I’ll send you one
