Great Idea! Thanks for sharing!. I don't think you will have problem considering some RV's have couches hanging on two belts. I removed 8 chairs from my Fort Transit medium roof 15 passenger 350 HD, and use it for cargo van, family transportation van, and camping van. When I go camping, all I needed, I made it as portable ones, and put them on the back, and when I go to sleep, I put air mattress over it and sleep there, cook there, eat there. when I cook I just open the door for ventilation, not a big deal. I just don't want to do permanent modification for any one occasion, when I use the care for multiple purposes.
Great videos, thanks. Do you think the double seat (2nd row - 36” seat) would be reversible by using the middle track and drivers side tracks in that front position??? Basically same idea but with 2 person seat vs 3 person bench??? Thanks
After I removed the three seat bench, I took the left last row on my 15 seater van, turned it around and put it at the second row , and it fits perfectly!
Nice set up and big family 👪 . That set up look very similar to a Fort Torneo Custom 8 seats from Germany.. I subcribed to your channel. Thanks for share those ideas!!!
I wonder if it would be safer to purchase an extra rail and add it to line up with the middle bracket when you flip the seat, so it would still lock in place in either direction. That's what we have considered doing.
We are trying to do the same thing in our van but, can not get the bolts loosened. Is there a trick to getting the bolts to loosen? I've almost stripped 2 of them already.
I like this. Thoughts from your car insurance? ... Your double bed setup really shows how many people can sleep in the van.... What do you do for ventilation?
insurance doesn't know about the modifications. we just crack windows or leave doors open when possible. I'd like to one day replace some of the stock windows with windows that can open with screens.
That’s great - wanting to add a table for in between the seats - how can I bolt that to the floor? Sorry - newbie here that wants to take the family on adventures this summer! Thanks again for the videos - they are a huge help!

Thanks for sharing, I have bought similar van so looking to do some DIY mods such as this !
my mods are usually simple and frugal. But they definitely make a difference.

Such a good idea!
Jon Murua thanks. Maybe I should label all my van hacks as “thrifty hacks” because I’m always finding ways to mod out my van on the cheap.

Hi, love this idea!! Do you know how many feet you now have from the seat to the back of the van? I’m assuming it’s about 8 feet.

How did you make the back into queen size bed?

@@SeekOutTheAdventure probabl maxair roof fan would be better solution. Great video! Thanks for sharing this.
Have you considered putting a narrow table between the seats for playing cards etc while traveling? Is there room to do so?
Sure have. check it out: ruclips.net/video/t831rp1O578/видео.html
How did you set up the bed,
I have transit passenger...
How did you cut the holes in the floor for the extra space needed when you turn it around?
we used a reciprocating saw. it was quick and easy.

@@micheledreistadt4274 Not sure what the best way to bolt a table to the floor. I haven't dappled with that concept at all. sorry.
Where did you find your mattress?
My wife found it for $25 brand new at Deseret Industries.
dope
Can you move the anchors in the floor?
you can but not very easily. it would require drilling new holes and such.
Thanks super helpful, we sold the front 3 seat row already and made more living room space. Check it out, bhmedia.co/van
