4jj1 engine last forever with decent maintenance
Sounds like you only take it out for special occasions. 80,000km is 8,000km a year
@@danielvodo1 bought it about 4 years ago with 106 000kms on it now has 193 000 kms , just drive from perth to esperance to kalgoolie and back 2 perth , loves it ! Got around 10 litres per 100kms

Very surprised at how good the Isuzu was in performance up against the Ford, I keep hearing how the 2 l Ford is a real weapon, it may well be but the Isuzu came out looking pretty good in the tests, better than I had anticipated.

Strange that the speedo begins to move only when the speed goes above 40km/h, some quality engineering right there lol.

That’s because he holds the brakes at the same time as revving the engine before he released the brakes only then wheels are started to roll

@@reecefell not sure with new cars but if the wheel is spinning and the car is stationary... the speedo should show it... but the Dmax took off and the speedo had a huge delay before it showed any speed
.1 second delay lol im sure your launching hard in 4wd everyday
Looks like the speedo's is as always now fully electronic, no real cabling involve, just like the now obsolete accelerator cable :( and yes it's more like a 286 chip :( sad but a bit Quicker throughput :D
Under 10 sec 0-100 is quite good for European Pick up.

0-100 in under 10 seconds, this car is quck, not super fast, but as quick as many normal-sized sedans with 1.6 to 1.8 litre engines, which is impressive considering its size, very nice truck, tbh i would love to own one of these, badass car, 4x4 and for some reason i got a liking for these turbo-diesel engines, i like the sound and the charm they have lol.
Only the 1.9l TDi is available in the EU
Nobody cares how fast is a pick up truck . But 9.75" in 0-100kmh is a really good performance for a car in this segment .

@Kingy88 Towing capacity/Cargo capacity, and top speed you need to know when you buy a pick up truck . That's why some car maker's they don't even declare performance at 0-100kmh(0-62mph) for their pickup trucks.

Boss, 2014 Isuzu Mux namin. Never nagkaroon ng issues. Solid talaga. Sana yung noise engine nila dapat maimprove katulad ng innova at fortuner walang kaingay ingay.

3.0 engine but the horsepower is 144.. so the mitsubishi strada mevic with 2.4L engine and 181 horsepower is faster than this..specially the new 2021 toyota conquest hilux there are 201hotsepower..

The more cylinders the better is actually true. Better horsepower and less engine vibrations. For example, a 6L V12 will always have more HP and less engine vibration than a 6L V8.
More fuel consumption, so no!
Turbos force more air to the cylinder, so more fuel is consumed. That's why turbo engines aren't really more efficient than NA. Plus they take all of the exhaust air to use it back in to the cylinders and for that reason it ruin the engine sound that's why NA cars sound better. It's really happening for the regulations i don't see the car community liking downsizing and turbocharging.
