I'm dreading the doors on my build. Really nervous to get it right. Could you show a cross section in the next video? From what I can tell the angle goes outside in, and the t overlaps it from the inside out while creating a flange for the door to shut against? Will you add weather stripping to it or the door itself? Soooo many questions for a door... another great video though! Thank you for sharing!
SkyroofNova72 I certainly will. I’ll try to show how the door contacts the trim and gasket when closed. On the door frame, I basically put an L shaped piece of trim down first, then a T shaped piece over top of it. The L trim is on the outside edge and the T on the inside edge. They overlap one another. The T will have a rubber seal on it. More to come!
Where did you get that metal trim I need some for my build, Im starting my second build and it will be a 5 wide this time, Your camera work is nice and steady
@@CampandCamera What gage or thickness was the trim if you remember? first attempts at bending around the from resulted in lots of frustration and cracked pieces.
You are so meticulous - you're an inspiration! Plus you're giving me a lot of great ideas when I get to that point in my build.
mate I love your skill
Gabriel Simek Thank you!
Nice job. I bailed on building my own doors and went with pre-assembled just to avoid the hassle.
Jon H Your a smart man! These things kicked my behind on a few occasions. I like the way they look, but wow, it was a bunch of effort!

M Langford Thanks so much! The aluminum trim, stainless screws, and Trempro sealant came from Vintage Technologies.
