I have no doubt that the finished product will be amazingly detailed and finely crafted.....that's just what you do my friend!

It's impressive that it took this long before having an undue. It would have happened day 1 for me. Can't wait to see the final product.

Thanks for the answer. I have started on my Teardrop and I am basing the design on the Timberleaf brand design. I just finished welding my own 5 x 8 trailer frame. I have watched your videos multiple times and wanted to thank you for your descriptiveness. You are a craftsman.

You’re a great builder, man. Hope I get to see that up close some day. You’re not too far from Austin.

Glenn Thomas Very much appreciated! It would be cool for sure. Hopefully about 4 more weeks and it will be on the road!

My benchtop in the galley was to have a timber veneer on it, I tried twice to get it right but didn’t like it, the third time I managed it and I’m happy. It was frustrating, but ... it’s all experience eh?

I wish I had a dollar for every mistake I didn’t show on the videos! I think I’ve learned more from my mistakes than my successes. Thanks for the comment!

Love your videos, they're incredibly helpful.
Can I ask what the T-moulding you're using is and where you got it? Things like this seem to be a little tricky to source up here in Canada.

Hey, thanks for watching! The T molding came from Vintage Technologies.

I have always found that any project always takes ninety percent thinking and ten percent
work effort. Your work ethic is very. I am wondering if you glued your aluminium sheet to
the plywood? keep up the good work

Thank you! The aluminum sheeting was held in place with a bead polyurethane sealant around the perimeter and around the door opening, then taped until dry. Then it’s further held in place with the trim. The remainder of the sheeting basically floats.

Look on the bright side. That plastic film made for easy removal of the butyl tape 👍

SkyroofNova72 That’s a great point! Wow, it was sure stuck. But, I suppose it should really work well.

Where did you get the aluminum trim for the edges?

Very nice build. Are the plans you original or did you use other available plans? Also, did you consider varnishing the galley lid prior to covering it?

    • @CampandCamera

Thank you! I put three coats of “the mix” on the wood prior to sheeting. It’s a mixture of mineral spirits-thinned polyurethane. The plans are of my own design. If you’d like to discuss getting a copy, you can contact me at campandcamera@gmail.com

So where did you get the offset T molding from?
