What a moment for Walker Buehler. After 2 Tommy John surgeries there was doubt that he could even pitch again, let alone help lead the Dodgers to another championship. This man did it in 2020 and he came thru again in 2024. He pitched lights out in game 3 and came back on 1 day rest and closed it out. What a year. Shohei 50/50, Freddies injury and family issues, losing almost an entire pitching staff, going down 1-2 vs the Padres and then just completely turning it around. This team is amazing. Resilient battling through all that stuff and still win it all. Amazing team. Coming back down 0-5 in this game to win it...wow just wow. No one can say anything bad about this team.
As a Yankees fan, I won't deny that I'm disappointed, but my grandfather (1933-2007; may he rest in peace) was a huge Dodger fan (from their time in Brooklyn), and he developed a massive hatred for the Yankees due to all the times they beat the Dodgers in the World Series. I'm happy he got to once again see his favorite team beat his worst team. I'm sure he's absolutely ecstatic in Heaven. I love you and miss you, Grandpa. Congratulations.
I am a Cleveland fan and one thing that I saw clearly in this World series run is that when Cleveland and the Yankees played it was clear the Yankees were the better team. Now after this series it is clear that the Dodgers were the better team. I mention this only because not always does the winner of a series actually look like the better team. Ohtani, you did a great job this season, and we couldn't beat the Padres in the postseason without him. He's the 700M man 🦄 Betts, when Ohtani was walked, he showed incredible power. He's supposed to be the face of the team, but he did his job well! He's the best guy🔥 Freeman, his teammates must have been encouraged by his desperate play even when injured. Without him, there would have been no World Champion. Undisputed MVP⚾️ Teoscar, oh, I didn't think he was such a great guy before the season. It's not bad to get Soto from the Yankees, but I want him to be on the Dodgers! His smile is great! Yamamoto, it was definitely a success that the Dodgers signed him to a big contract. I was especially surprised by his performance in the postseason and the World Series. He will be the ace of the Dodgers in the future🏟️ Congratulations to the Dodgers on the World Championships!! Baseball's popularity will be revived from here.
Casuals: B-bu-but Ohtani was carried, let’s conveniently ignore the fact that he got injured in game 2. You would think Ohtani’s clutch double, which tied it up 2-2 in the 8th in game 1 and set the stage for Freddie’s grand slam heroics, didn’t exist. Without that glorious swing, the Yankees would have practically waltzed through Game 1 without a scratch from that spirit-crushing walk-off. But sure, let’s pretend that spark for the Dodgers was totally irrelevant. Obviously, the series MVP, who spent the entire postseason hobbling around on an injured ankle, didn’t need a shred of confidence booster, right? Classic oversight! Not to mention Ohtani when he was healthy, helped the team with his .818 RISP and saved the team from getting swept by the Padres with his 3-run homer.

@@erikle111 Astros also in the record books doesn’t make it legit 😂 finally a legit win in 35 years. Giants can’t relate lol
Every World Series LA has won has been legit.

Congratulations to the Dodgers!
And thanks for signing Ohtani and Yamamoto!
The Dodgers are the best in the world! From Japan.
Ohtani? What he do besides stat padding already winning games during the regular season and a ghost in thr post?
@@The40Glock1 cry yankees fans😂

That Aaron Judge error in the 5th inning started that comeback
Don’t forget Cole didn’t run to first to close the 5th inning.

Dave Robert’s played ON the 04 Red Sox team that came back 0-3 to win four straight against New York lol baseball is beautiful
History REAPeating itself with the Boss Dave Roberts reaping the rewards of another chip.
Ohtani first season as a dodger, wins the world series.
Dave Roberts has been ridiculed for his pitching changes midmatch for the whole season and now he proved the haters wrong.
I give Roberts a whole lot of blame for the lost seasons, but I don't think this season ends with a trophy if he's not at the helm. Tip of the cap to Roberts, he truly was the right man for the job this title run.
Yamamoto got a ring in his first MLB year
With ONLY 3 starters and a stacked bullpen. He definitely deserves his flowers and a contract extension!
Dodgers you deserve this victory , job well done😊⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
No
Dodgers absolutely OWNED this series.
What an absolutely spectacular performance by that roster.
This team is truly something else 😤
Congrats LA! 🥳 🌴🌇
And an extra special congrats to Tommy Edman and Jack Flaherty 🥹 Happy for you bois.

Thank you for Edman! If he gets a long term deal, im adding his Jersey to my wall.. what a fun player to watch
Cardinals fan this excited is nuts
Thank you Red Sox for giving us Mookie ! And this World Series ! TY Mookie
As a Mets fan, if it wasn't us, I'm glad it was the team that beat us. The Dodgers were too damn good this year and deserve this title.
Respect 🤝
You guys have a tough team man! 💯 Let's run it back next year?
Congrats to the Dodgers and all of their fans. You guys spent, you guys did it, you guys deserved it.
Congrats to you for being cool af 👍
Ohtani+ yamamoto is an investment that will make dodgers a dynasty starting now. Roki Sasaki come join your boys
What a comeback victory! Great Win, Championship well deserved!

When the Yankees lose, we all win.
dont get where this hatred comes from, good sportsmanship is gone
This is great California over New York. Just like Nov 5: California over New York! We all WIN!
hahahaha!!!!
You've never heard of Giants and Padres fans have you? The only two fanbases that would rather the Yankees win
@yaegerrr I think it comes from Yankee fans cheering when Ohtani injured himself and those two fans who tried to take the ball from Betts 😂
Vin Scully would've been REALLY! happy to see this! Congrats to these Dodgers for winning the WS!!
Wish he was around to call the last inning, the Poet Laureate !
I really miss Vin Scully. I grew up, listening to his voice. ❤💙
0-5 to 7-6 win. Draws that strike out to finally end a series. Awesome Dogers,💪 congrats fr.🇵🇭
Big respect to Roberts as well! He knew when to save the big guns! A strategic masterpiece! 💪
Ohtani, you did a great job this season, and we couldn't beat the Padres in the postseason without him. He's the 700M man 🦄
Betts, when Ohtani was walked, he showed incredible power. He's supposed to be the face of the team, but he did his job well! He's the best guy🔥
Freeman, his teammates must have been encouraged by his desperate play even when injured. Without him, there would have been no World Champion. Undisputed MVP⚾️
Teoscar, oh, I didn't think he was such a great guy before the season. It's not bad to get Soto from the Yankees, but I want him to be on the Dodgers! His smile is great!
Yamamoto, it was definitely a success that the Dodgers signed him to a big contract. I was especially surprised by his performance in the postseason and the World Series. He will be the ace of the Dodgers in the future🏟️
Congratulations to the Dodgers on the World Championships!! Baseball's popularity will be revived from here.
Also like to shout out to Tommy Edman and K.Hernandez. These 2 were also vital in the WS and PS

Man, I hope they keep Teoscar. He really grew on me this season.
There is no doubt that Freeman is the MVP of the World Series and without him we might not win the World Series. The man was just on fire 🔥. He’s just unbelievable!!!
But without Ohtani we would not even be in the World Series period. Without Ohtani, it’s most likely that we would be swept 3-0 by the Padres.

Guys, check his comment history, he’s been taking shot at Ohtani since 6 months ago, saying how Trout is better than him. He must be a salty Angels fangirl, I bet it's tough watching Ohtani snag a championship ring in his debut Dodgers season while your beloved poor Trout gets comfy with his TV remote haha.

@@TRAPLIFE4Just like the Yankees. Maybe too much Diddy oil.
Please don't use analogies; they're very lame.
Dodgers were simply the better team and deserved to win. Yankees remain stuck at 27 rings and without a trophy since 2009. I doubt they win another World Series as long as Boone is still manager, Roberts managed circles around him in this series.
@@artandarchitecture6399 I agree. He's a horrible strategic manager and his teams are pretty bad fundamentally, defensively, and on the bases. He probably won't go anywhere tho since Hal and Cashman both love him.
@@coreyrowe4119 2025 is a team option contract year: Boone is gone, he's probably already packing.
@@BilliamOfYork While he should be gone I'll have to see it with my own eyes to believe it, he can do no wrong in the eyes of Hal and Cashman.
@@coreyrowe4119 I would imagine sitting slack-jawed while the team gave up 5 runs on errors in the 5th will end up being the final straw. Cole, Soto, and Boone are almost certainly gone.
@BilliamOfYork under any other front office he would definitely be gone but the Yankees current hierarchy loves him too much to fire him.
