- Don't Fall Off The Edge! Mtb Scotland
Whilst I was in the Torridon area, I was tempted to do the Ben Damph loop, but after having an explore on Google earth I decided that I wanted to summit the mountain rather than go round it as it looked really interesting.
Turned out to be a good call 👍

“Bang! That’s another fooking mountain” 😱...know that feeling too 😂
Putting the mountain back in biking Andrew boy! 💪🏻💪🏻
Another fing mountain 😂 cracking we vid again👍❤️🏴
Thanks buddy 👍
Chunky and loose at the top, nice
Very much so
That looked like an absolute monster of a climb. What a veiw to have as your reward.
I love that bike of yours Andrew...Just what you need for all those big rocks.
given me an idea for a new freeride comp... Iron Brew Rampage
It hard to beat Scotland when the sun comes out for beauty. Thank for showing the views but brutal ride down well done!
Nice!!!!! Sweet edit. Way to combine MTB’ing with hiking. This is real MTB’ing because you went of the beaten path to show us something you just can’t experience everyday. Plus that bike is sick....it appeared to handle that gnar beautifully. Thanks man. I was just telling my best friend last night, who is Scottish that next summer Scotland is on my radar because of your vids. Him and I live in Spain so it’s a quick jump.
That is mountain biking in the real sense of the word. Great video as always
Beautiful Scotland 🏴 love watching to see the best mountains in the uk 🇬🇧
Love the shots where you can see your shadow. Really do show you how steep it really is.
Man...I could just sit up on that mountain and ponder life for a day.
Damn ! That's Beautiful but tuff, Great riding in all that chunk as usual.
Top riding Andrew!
This video shows just why your skills are so dialled. Doing this on a regular basis must really hone those technical skills. Nice one Andrew
@@McTrailRider I think you're being too kind :) Just had a cracking day in Patones...with the ebikes ;)
Gotta love false summits😁 Quite an adventure though. Killer views!!
That area is definitely going on my bucket list.
Came here for the scenery.
Top effort but thats a hill for walking , although the zigzag bit looked good and the long stretch through the tree's. Impressive end my arms are aching, another good video
Great video with awesome views, keep up the great work 👍🏻
I'm looking at the beginning of this and not seeing a bike ride, but I know you will prove me wrong.
Watching on Telly RUclips scenery just WOW, In real life something else. I be in no rush ride down.
Glad I found your channel some great videos 👌
Stunning!
It was a good choice. The descent of the loop is really great but the trail around the southern part would have been rather swampy given the rain we've had this 'summer'.
You deserve some fast soft flowing trails after all those rocks! Dang!
Thats a bumpy ride. 😜
Amazing scenery. Need to get up there sometime!
What a stunning place! Bumpy ride!- bike is great! Can’t imagine how hot it was! Didn’t have that problem in Harris-eh! x
Great effort man.. last section is class coming Into the woods although u missed the best section before that from away up at the bealach.. huge long natural slabs for ages.. unbelievable.. the loop is long and a slog but worth it mate wen u hit that bealach. We dun it in terrential rain.. wud recommend the torridon monster next if ur still up there..
Incredible views, mountain biking at its finest :)
What gorgeous weather for this one!
Don’t you ever come off? Or do you edit them out? I’d be on my ass a good few times!
Too hard for me, but I love watching you descend......
I envy your freedom! 😎😎👍🏻🏴
Looks incredible
I miss that place!!
Long rides on hot days. Yeah, I keep forgetting not to do that as well.
scotland is truly a beautiful big country. same type of terrain and views as we have in snowdonia, but you've just got a lot more of it.
having said that, we're lucky as everything is pretty close together....but i'll still complain there's just not enough trails!
Spot on buddy 😉👌 great view as always buddy Google Tal y mignedd photos went up that's great fun can't wait your next video 👌 😉
@@McTrailRider like you buddy wee are lucky to have the mountains around us 👌🚴😉
Yeah. The footage you captured in those tops is pretty much why Torridon is one of my favourite places in the world. I think you pretty brave doing that. I've done the loop before and it is really good. I'd do it in the dry though as it's a long day in bad weather. Class mate. Oh yeah, how you finding the MSC tyres?
Amazing fast descents especially in the woods :o be careful near the edge :o
lovely ride.... nice video bud.
The usual descent is on the other side of the river and has more rock and less water bars. It does cross the river at the beginning of the forest for the last part down to the road. The usual loop is no XC ride even though its a gradual pull up to the col. The going around Loch Damph can be muddy and boggy but it's all rideable.
@@McTrailRider Aye its good but a little tamer then the usual Torridon stuff. You arrive at a wee lochan on the col as you can see your descent in front of you. PS... I shot down that last wee steep section at the road and nearly got hit by a car. Not sure if it has been opened up a little.
Another awesome video Andrew, riding Scotland is on the bucket thanks to your channel. What backpack are you using out of interest?
I'm the 1001st viewer! May I live long!
Epic ride, beautiful scenery! What backpack is that? Looks handy.
That must be one hell of a bike! And how is the camera so steady?
“Another fucking mountain”.. 😂😂😂
👌
It's horrible when you run out of water and your miles away, we've all been there.
would love to know what tyres you use for that sort of terrrain..Nice VId tbw
What bag is that you’re wearing? I like that phone pocket having smashed one in my pocket before and looks like it’d be stable on your back. Do you recommend it?
the ride is worth it for those views
Those views...
I sit only a couple of hours away from where you ride and watch your visa with palpable jealously as I only have a 120mm hardtail
Nice descriptions of the terrain- a good wordy Scot!
Just wondering what style and make of shoe you were wearing and, were they comfy for your hike to the summit?
No, I'm not being sarcastic! Sorry if my text gave that impression.
Thanks for the shoe info.
You're welcome...Nae bother.
Sketch as Fuck Andrew..Glad ur still alive !!
Where’s the trail?
You might wanna think about a kidney belt!
Next time ride something that isn't so smooth lol
McTrail Rider hope your wearing back protection.
Bit of a solo commute to your source of income.
