After way too much wind and rain over the previous days, I finally found a small weather window to get out and ride. This is the Coire Mhic Nobuil Trail that goes around the back of Liathach which is one of the most iconic mountains in the Torridon area. This wasn’t the original plan though, as you will find out in the video.

Best of wilderness, nailed on the ebike. I came in to there off the other side further up the glen, spectacular scenery. If you had gone up the left path you would of nailed the lochans pretty quickly. Some great routes on the other side of the road too.

Torridon is unreal. Was there a few years back on our way th the world Cup. Brilliant weekend!
Took a chance on that one. Turned out to be another classic. Well ridden again mate.
We did this route on our first Torridon trip. We had no motor and that climb to the descent goes on forever. At least the descent is loads of fun. Cracking blind riding mate. I remember how big some of those water bars were!

Those west coast midges come in chinook helicopters man. I had the pleasure of meeting them at at Garelochead a few years ago. Loving the return to the mountains, those trails look awesome.

Ow man! I was planning to ride a few routes when I visited Torridon in 2017. However we had about the same weather for days. Gushing down rain. As I was travelling with the family, my window to do ride passed and we had to move on. I've vowed to be back, to do this ride sometime in the future. Nice video! The Kenmore Path from Kenmore to Applecross was on the list. Sadly didn't manage to do it.

That looks like a cracking route. Brutal on the rims:) I went there last summer and did two routes but don't recognise that one. I need to go back and do it with my ebike next year.

I feel you’re soggy pain I did the Torridon loop today in the pissing rain my socks were full of water up to the ankles. But that descent is epic down into Annat.

My dad went to visit relatives in Scotland last year and my aunt went this year. I think it's my turn for next year. Hoping to buy a nice enduro before I get there tho. My 110mm hardtail will not work on trails like that.
That's the Beinn Alligin path that runs around the back of Liathach (Which is a slog of doom that most MTBers avoid) Not the quickest way to head up to Coire Mhic Fearchair. There is a more direct track up to the Coire but you would be shoving a lot.
@@McTrailRider Yep start at the hillwalkers car park in Glen Torridon for Beinn Eighe and just head straight up then curving into Coire Mhic Fearchair.
Yes the path for Beinn Alligin and Beinn Dearg splits and continues on. The sections further along have heard many swear words by bikers through the years and is generally not really rated amongst people who have ridden it (On normal bikes). Pity about your weather as there are five decent big routes in and around the area. Try the Tollie path route at Loch Marie if you are stuck for time. The descent is a techy fest.

Great Ride Andrew, interesting to know the distance you rode and battery consumption. As you stated you where riding 50% power. Do you use mission control or Blevo app to manage the battery/motor power?
I'm riding a 2018 Levo and coming to grips with the bike and power management to make sure i get max range with challenging terrain climbs.

Great vid mate. Clearly demonstrating what the ebike offers you, ie up lift! In turn, offering access and do ability. That ride you did, the day light available to you, no way you would have achieved with an acoustic bike. Query, why no gloves? Surely you must have customised your handlebar grips, (highly cushioned) in order not to be wearing gloves. #explain 😁
McTrail Rider so hot the weekend there, up on the Cathkin Braes and had to take my gloves off. Soon realised riding without gloves was no comfy! Unique that you can do it.

You don't need an e bike. He only used his as he only had limited time. I wouldn't fancy spending an unplanned night in the mountains.
E bikes don’t help on the decent and you still need effort to get them up 🤔🤔
