      HAHA, yep, head lights on a tractor with a loader are 100% useless, gotta have lights mounted on the ROPS in order to get any sort of visibility when running a loader at night, otherwise like you say the back of the loader bucket looks great, but can't see what I just ran over in the yard LOL.

    Neil, that was an awesome review and covered some things that others haven't in their review of this new model. I like the backward compatibility of some items. Glad to see the RHS grab bar comes stock now....I've bought 3 of them for different L-series over the years. My 2017 L3901 is serving us well at Piney Grove, but I'd definitely consider a L3902 if I was in the market right now.

    I suspect the exhaust diffuser is a carry over from the automotive industry and is to help cool the exhaust off during regen. During a regen cycle extra fuel is added to get the exhaust hot enough to burn the soot out of the exhaust system and could easily start a fire. By drawing in cool air (venturi effect) the air temperature coming out is substantially lowered.

    I like the video but sway bars for the 3 point with a quick hitch seem redundant. One or the other. And as far as "the most deluxe 3 point" I would have to argue that a tractor with a hydraulic top link and tilt would be the most deluxe. Just sayin'

    This is kind off an of the wall question for you. Given that you don't use a mid-mount mower on your LX3310, if the L3302 were available when you purchased your LX3310, would you have purchased the L3302 instead?

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  2 года назад

      That's a really good question. Probably not. LX is slightly smaller frame, physically lighter, and more comfortable. If I was after the most capable tractor, yes.

      Thank you for your answer. I was surprised to see just how much heavier the L3302 was than the LX3310. I did a quick comparison of the prices on similarly equipped 33 hp models. Very similarly priced for basic models. I do like the idea of being able to get a factory cab on the LX though.

    Aloha Neil! Those amber switches… (you showed the one for off tractor PTO). My L4701 “lost” the white markings on them about a month after I bought it. So, just unmarked amber buttons now. I know they relate to regen, but the way I use the tractor it’s never gone into regen (300 hours). I know I can figure them out from the operator’s manual, but I’m not likely to have it with me (the Kubota app is no good because no wifi or cell signal in the lower part of the property). All the previous is to hopefully head off the read the manual comments I’m sure are still coming… anyway: Is there a decal kit or some such to “re-mark” those buttons? Kinda bizarre they wouldn’t hold their markings to begin with…

      A sharpie maybe? Seems kind of stupid with a cheap paint decal right on the button itself knowing full well those are going to come off in a short period of time with use, not even pushing them, but things rubbing against them as you get on and off the tractor, especially if you are wearing gloves, jackets, etc.

    I don't know much about models other than the L4701, but my 2020 L4701 has the brakes on the left and go pedal on the right, so that was an early adoption. It also came with sway bars instead of turnbuckles (at least I don't think I paid extra for those). Floor mats and the grill guard would be nice. Kubota needs to get their act together with the ROPS bar. Having to remove the safety clip AND unscrew the lock pins to fold the ROPS is idiotic. No one else does that. Makes it a real PITA to drop it to get into the garage. Fortunately I don't have to do that very often, but it irks me everytime I do.
    One thing I wish Land Pride would take a clue from SpeeCo on is not requiring cat 3 adapter bushings for the QH15. Those are $40 a set, and they add up quick.
