I’ve recently traded both of my hellcats for a TRX as I commented. I’m not sure if I’m going to ever go back and get a hellcat but if I were to I would get a white narrow body challenger redeye. I’ve always liked the clean look of a non-street legal drag pack. Red eyes have all the heavy parts in it for good street piece with an occasional race. I’d do a 15 inch rear brake conversion, differential brace, driveshaft etc.I don’t think the TRX is going anywhere for a while. I might end up having it forever because it’s so versatile and has improved my life on a daily basis where the hell cats just sat most of the time particularly in the colder months. However toward the end I did use them more frequently. I just got burned out on the hellcats. I’ve had at least one and most years two of them since 2015. Seems these days too many “takeover thugs“ are using hellcats as their go to vehicle. That’s another reason why if I get a white challenger redeye with a drag focus I’d feel better about it.

Keep your Daytona, don’t sell it. you gonna be tired of redeye after a while like Daytona You just lose money. Just my opinion I sold my challenger HC wide body and ordered Charger redeye, after the car showed up in dealership, I thought twice and 100k including taxes is a lot of money for Redeye, so I left it in dealership.Still there for sale.
It was definitely an auto, but I always go with the 6MT in my Camaros so that’s the only way I could quickly tell. I’m not a big guy, so I fit just fine in these cars. One of the very few bennies of being vertically challenged.
Man, the 2022 hellcat prices keep going up. When I ordered my scat back in October the hellcat widebody was msrp $72,900. End of December when I changed my mind and switched to hellcat msrp was $74,900 and now I go on the website and it's $78,900. That for base model hellcat msrp. Hoping with my order sheet in hand I'm locked in at the $74,900 price.
That’s the irritating thing with these 68K offers. I paid $87K for that car 9 months ago and the market is only going up. Dealers are selling them at record prices but act like they’re breaking their back to give me well below market for it. Honestly, the 73K offer the Chrysler dealer offered and the one that beat it, those are fair dealers. But anything less than 73K, that’s insanity.
@@nodoubt5700 that’s not actually true. Dealers can still markup cars that were custom ordered. It’s your responsibility as the buyer to make sure you find a dealer who won’t do a markup.
Why dont you just order a 2022 Hellcat Redeye from Granger Motors? The one they quoted me stickered for $92,000 and selling price $85,000….. quit getting screwed by your local dealership!
I already have a Challenger Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak on order. I don’t wanna order a Charger Jailbreak until I’ve taken delivery of my Challenger. But if one pops up that meets my likes, then I would buy it. Also, where is Granger Motors?
On a side note as someone who had several Yukon Denali and Escalade fuck GM stick with mopar. The grand wagoneer series 3 walks the Escalade. The only thing I think we could both agree on would be the upcoming Escalade V esv that’s coming otherwise I’m about done with GM

I’m interested to see what they are going to offer me on my Charger and what they are going to try and sell the Challenger to me.
Why do you not use carvana or vroom to sell? I’ve bought off Facebook and sell to them multiple times and it’s profit every time. Vs 5 local dealers both of them beat them every single time. Vroom is the highest possible but selling to them is a fucking pain in the ass. Carvana is easy as it gets. I don’t even bother doing local anymore and my life is literally a copy paste of yours with cars I’ve had 142 cars in my adult life lol
Carvana and Vroom are routinely the lowest offers I received to the point I don’t even bother anymore. Also, Carvana has something going on to where their business is suspended in my state right now, if I remember correctly

To be honest brutha, you can convert your Daytona into a one of a kind Daytona Hellcat Redeye for the money you will spend in buying a Redeye. Just my opinion.
I’ve actually thought about that. My thing was not changing it because it’s a numbered car but I don’t like the white stripe or the color of the wheels.

Someone else pointed it out. The shift knob looked a lot like my Dart which was a manual. I didn’t pay it that much attention.

For the ones you order are set price for whatever you make mark ups are for the cars that’s not ordered

They only offered me 70K, the same dealer that sold it to me for 87K 9 months ago.
