Used the 98 for almost an year. Great racket when you are hitting in the sweet spot. The instability, lack of power and vibrations when not hitting in the sweet spot made me switch. Also had arm issues because of that.
@@AlexTennisChannel Tried a lot (Yonex Ezone 98, Prince Tour 98, Yonex Percept 100, Head Boom Pro). The ones that are still have in my bag is the Percept 100 and Boom Pro. Boom Pro is my current favorite (really stable, powerful and decent control) but I like also the Percept 100. My problem with the Percept 100 is that I don't have too much weight in my shots (not much plow-through) compare to the Boom Pro.
Hi Alex. Great video. I have both and feel the same. With the 100 I feel lost soletimes whereas the 98 is more trusty for matches. I have a question : as I also saw (and remember) your videos comparing percept100 & vcore pro 100 and the one comparing vcore pro 100 & vcore 100, would you say that the percept 100 could be the perfect blend or middle between vcore 100 and vcore 98 ? Would you make a comparison video between these 2 ? Have a merry Xmas.

In my opinion the 100 is a more « refined » babolat pure aero and the 98 is a bit like a Wilson blade with more pop and spin.

Yes it’s a good blend! It’s just not as spin friendly as the Vcore. Yes I could do a comparison with those two! Have a great Christmas too🎄🎄🎉🎾
