We just used a card table and a cheap razor. The razor really stinks. A professional plug in grade would be better. I usually just trim him with scissors now.
7-19-23 I have a 5 month old cavapoo. I'm trying to figure out what he should look like. I think he has poodle ears. Although he is 75% poodle, most of his hair is not very curly.
I never let the hair on the pads get long. Ticks, tangles, mats and who knows what else will come in on those pads. I've have poodles and poodle mixes for many years. And, they require a daily brushing so they don't get those in the 1st place. Your dog is so adorable! What kind of cbd do you use?
A calm drugfree session would be better . Thourough brushing weekly would eliminate knots in his hair. Point of scissors should point away from dog at all times.

I’d be the one to need the CBD in order to do a stressful thing like cutting my sweet little angel girl Cavapoo (or Cavoodle in Australia) !! Haha
