The grass-strings render as thick cones, not thin lines/sticks. This might have something with when I tried to make character hair once, since I had to apply a cone structure to some curves, but I don't know

I was doing it myself when I wanted to make minecraft rtx animation but I missed up cuz when I made huge or medium plate/blocks of reastistic grass my pc start to lag and blender was 4 000 gb RAM using and I was having Intel Core i5 (and have it right now)
I just started Blender..skipping the Donut tutorial bcz procrastination to realistic grass in short time...I'm having fun!
just do the donut tutorial man it's not that hard and you'll feel proud when you're done with it
